The fan english translation online was removed because the novel got licensed is being offically realised in English...which is up to 4-6 volumes now, where you can on Amazon both the physical or Kindle version and at various bookstores....However there are still MTL translations available but( the grammers are a mess and not everything is translated properly😅

Yes I read soo much....Still waiting on 2ha manhua update( thats if those stupid idiots who keeps complaining about the art in China does cause it to get cancelled).... and reading popular Manhwa now Jinx....( notable others ones).... Into the Rose Garden, Night Songs...and so much more I cant even keep up😅

At the moment no win...because BL adaptation...Justice in the Dark was released with 8 episodes and that was pulled from airing....The Spirelm....was leaked on line and that was also pulled just 2 hours after....( but fans mangaged to download all episides😅🤣).... however from these actions, we can see that these dramas are are not in higher ups grace atm or probable not anytime soon.... they hit on alot of issues to prevent these dramas from airing when other dramas also have to same eve sometimes worse problems but yet allowed....so its clear that they just have disdain for the BL adaptations genre.
Why is it so difficult to make these types of series happen if we already have evidence to say that they can??…
Well alot of things happend after TU and WOH....one can even say that its because of these dramas getting explosive popular both in China and internationally.... which caused the lead actors sky rocketed to fame basically overnight, the crazy fandom of the actors issues causing havoc....and the gov deleared that actors are using these dramas as a short cut to fame( yap the gov said that😅)...plus cracking down on the "sissy men culture"... around BL dramas and Kpop( yap the gov said that again😅)...and the main one....queerbaiting( even while the drama being censored the gayness is so obvious esp....during promotions and bts moments😅)...not to mention the leads getting into controversies regardless its their fault or not....so the gov thinks the best way to deal with this all is to just banned them.....which they did....however these bans can be lift or get worse.....thats why we here are still abit hopeful....but its still best not to count chickens before they hatch😅.....

Yes its officially announced and its in partnership with Thailand....mist actors are Chinese with Thai also....so I want to see how much BL will this be and where will they broadcast it from( differently not in China)... lol....
If this is legit representation of whats exactly happening as to why Dangai cant be aired in China now.....well....If Immortality take this route so it can be broadcast....it will be a completely different drama, as the title will change, actors character name change, one lead actor screen time will decrease and another side one might take their place....plot and storyline changes...etc..etc....😒😒... Isnt the whole point of a BL adaptation in the first place is the wonderful" bromance tag"....but suble hints of something more than friends tolerated by the censors??....so they are that triggered, to the point they want no hints, and no other issues, which wouldn't even affect BG dramas airing if placed in the same position?? These dramas got so popular..( from being just a niche part of Cent as how the gov would prefer them to be)....They got so huge where even the actors esp the leads are certain of explosive popularity after acting in them...eg.... Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo....and next inline would've being Luo Yunxi ond Chen Feiyu( if Immortality had aired back in 2021 as it was suppose to before all the bans came into place)....
Its stated by higher ups that the dramas have an negative effect on the younger generation( alot of crazy fans attacking each other and everything else as they please which causes discourse and social disruptions online and in society overall)..." Hah..as if they need these dramas to act that way....these fans are still present in Cent as of this moment...and they are the ones that literally make the entertainment industry strive (both good and bad😅)"...

I understand your POV also....but as I said if one views it as plutonic love or friendship drama, thats ok esp...if they dont have any knowledge about its source material or Chinese idioms and culture which are very strong elements used because censorship didnt allow the drama to portray a clear BL relationship within in the drama...but when one knows and pay attention, it becomes so evident. Thats one of the strong point of this drama...the ability to showcase a relationship much more than friendship but without an explicit kiss, intimate, or confession scene. Sometimes watching more than once will allow one to even caught things they missed before....Its a BL drama in the sense its just censored because thats the only way it could pass censors, however the elements are still there for it to be associated with the genre, plus it was also marketed like one.

I feel sad how much weight the actors have to lose to film costume dramas.
Yes they need to be slim for costume dramas as just standing infront of the camera adds 5 pounds, plus all the layers of costumes adds more....so if its a drama where the actors needs to have an ethereal, outwordly, Godly ,fairtytale like look....to convince the audience...they have to be thin....plus when it involved wireworks....being thin works better in their favour.....LYX speak about this in one of his interviews also.... He literally mentions sometimes he spend hours in the air, when doing wireworks....and being thin help him immensely to deal with how tiresome and lengthy the process can be.

Thats very normal to miss given you wernt aware of the dramas affiliation with BL genre overall....but even while I went it, not being familiar with Danmei culture at the time ...(though familar and into BL from my Japanese experiences of BL mangas and anime🤭😅)... I caught on quickly.....as certain camera shots, captured in slow motions, at some very specific points and the constant staring on the other between the leads ..( and others... lol).... I knew something was up...then I got more info and fell into this endless rabbit hole and Danmei culture where its impossible to leave now....lol

Does a BL have to have explicit 18+ scenes, kiss and abvious hugs to prove itself as a BL?? Many dramas are BG love story but they don't always show these scenes yet no one deny them ever being a straight drama....Its just that TU is censored to the point the love and affection is just shown subtle as thats the only way it could pass censorship to air at the time...
