You are very right....and that is why waiting too long for this drama can be problematic and disappointing in the end....its of the Xianxia genre plus heavily CGI....and after years of being in the dungeon...time still moves along and many things concerning drama productions will be improved on....so by the time this drama might air if lock down for a few more years...everything will be so outdated.....

What might help save it are the acting capabilities of the cast esp... the leads, plot and storyline....but after all the extreme censors, and episodes cut....even the..( strong reliant on CP Chemistry with the leads).... will probably be none existance...and a messy edit....if these crazy rules in place now remains the same....

If they are waiting on an internal change for the better....where they can market it as is....do promotions and avoid less censors as the drama was ment to be before all the new rules....well its a waiting game plus a double edged sword....as things can even get worse from here on out....

But as to my knowledge....even if they wanted to air the drama now....they cant as they have no permission to so....best bet now is to leak it.....but suffer all loss....esp monetary wise.....while only a few cast may benefit from the good reception it may get....or just wait out the storm....or call everything a day.....its a sticky situation where only living on.....thats the only way we can see which direction will be taken.

Dramas filmed longer then even this...are sitting on the shelves....and when released...99% get bad reviews for looking outdated....so our concerns about Immortality quality are quite valid....

But I guess this might also the the gov plan as their efforts in the first place is to bring BL dramas back into a niche category and away from mainstream as it was taking over...referring to The Untamed and Word of Honor success....if this plan of theirs dont ease up....BL adaptations in China...has no hope at all.

So my dear Immorals AKA Clowns😅....While we wallow in sorrow and hope and cursing Tencent and NRTA....and waiting that one day our precious Immortality will be aired while we are still breathing and....well...(whats left of it....after all those....'again'.... added censors😅)....and while we support XiXi new drama and in waiting his and CFY new upcoming dramas....We have a costume BL...(yap..its BL)....getting ready to be aired....Its collaboration with China and Thailand and I personally have been waiting to see this for months .....so whos interested can check it out when it airs

Did you watch the drama?? If not....whats your point here??....Because if you didnt watch and just come to conclusions from others conclusions....you have dug an endless hole for yourself unable to see the logic in XY choices and decisions.

He doesn't have an health issue.....There were and still are countless rumors but his agency and even him denied it all. He clarified he eats alot.....but its just naturally difficult for him to gain weight....take into consideration his metabolism, genes and the kind of lifestyle he lives....LYX has never been fat...lol....With 11 years ballet experience and his naturally small frame....he definitely wouldnt look like Michael Jordan..😅🤣....I understand persons who arnt familiar with him concerns, but others know quite well thats how he is.....yet they drag him always for something he cant do anything about....

I mean hes a small guy....his physique looks pretty feminine...thats how he has always been...Who do they expect him to look like.... Shaq?😅🤣🤣....He was a professional ballet dancer for heavens sake..lol....

Yes he had lean muscles when he was dancing....and due to the fact he isnt anymore and hes literally 35....those muscles will decipate over time and with age....do they take into account his metabolism or even his genes to begin with🤦‍♀️....he says hes healthy and eats well.....should we tell him hes lying??.... If their taste in ML is not acceptable when it comes to LYX....no one can force them to accept him...just avoid his dramas.....other than everytime body shaming him....its not like doing so gonna magically adds weight to his slim frame....they just want a reason to hate...lol

Then suppose Immortality magically airs and they air where Taxain Jun was torturing him(CWN)....where he looks frail and loss lots of weight.....its gonna be TTEOTM era all over again.....which his thin physique is even apart of the plot but antis seems to cant grasp that..😅.....Haters gonna hate at the end regardless.....

Like Im on different platforms seeing them just dragging Xixi for his weight....even Song Yi too....but esp...LYX....what is he suppose to do about his body being like that if it cant be helped?? He explained this situation so many times aready but I guess haters just can't help it...smh....

When it comes to costume dramas...arnt the actors preferable being thin...seeing they have on multiple layers or for the better fitting of the costumes itself?....If the actors are starving themselves, and unhealthy...then there is an issue....but LYX has voiced many times he eats well but unable to easily put on weight....thank heavens he has a will of steel where such criticism hes used to by now....but at the end hes still human....with feeling...

If you are going to come here with this much negativity towards Arthur then its best if you leave....You dont have to like or stan him....but to be passing around these rumors against him as if its truth and then holding them against him is bias and anti behavior.....

We welcome stans from other dramas and actors and also discussions about different dramas.....we aren't strict....but to see just put down Morans actors name like that because of rumors spill by melon accounts and haters....doesnt sit well with me....like be more reasonable now...hes the perfect actor for Moran....no one can replace his spot.....

Im also a fan of The Untamed...and suppose others started saying that Xiao Zhan scandal caused TU to be looked at badly because of the actions of his fans he didnt get under control in time and they wished another actor got to play Wei Wuxian instead??.....No one is perfect.....but many of what you said are unfounded and just mere rumors....

The real verified ones are the accidentally liking Yibo photoshopped legs rumors by an antifan....his private bed photos being released and how weird his family can be...lol....Other than those and the connections he has from his family...hes actually a good actor..that went to school for it....he didnt really take the short way.....plus hes young and have so much time to improve on what he can already do.....seems like you judged him without giving him a chance....hes actually a cool guy....with a nice personality from what I can see so far.

I actually read both when I feel I could dive more into the story and if a novel is available and the manghua/manhwa isnt enough....most manhwa am reading now though are stand alone original story....and less to no censorship 😁

The only way the drama probably can be released outside China is with the approval of China censorship board governing entertainment (NRTA)....as the drama has been registered with them already.....If Immortality wasnt registered under NRTA then production could have sold its airing rights to international platforms....or they can leak it then take down😅....but that would be a lost for production....or just wait until if China soften their banning on these dramas...so its a waiting game I guess....
