If you are going to come here with this much negativity towards Arthur then its best if you leave....You dont have to like or stan him....but to be passing around these rumors against him as if its truth and then holding them against him is bias and anti behavior.....

Im also a fan of The Untamed...and suppose others started saying that Xiao Zhan scandal caused TU to be looked at badly because of the actions of his fans he didnt get under control in time and they wished another actor got to play Wei Wuxian instead??.....No one is perfect.....but many of what you said are unfounded and just mere rumors....

The real verified ones are the accidentally liking Yibo photoshopped legs rumors by an antifan....his private bed photos being released and how weird his family can be...lol....Other than those and the connections he has from his family...hes actually a good actor..that went to school for it....he didnt really take the short way.....plus hes young and have so much time to improve on what he can already do.....seems like you judged him without giving him a chance....hes actually a cool guy....with a nice personality from what I can see so far.

The thing is its up to the NRTA (basically Chinas censorship board governing the entertainment industry)...to give them the go ahead to release the drama in or outside China.....as the drama is registered with them....If the drama was made by Tencent for only international viewing then we probably would have gotten it already....so we have to wait until if NRTA loosen or change the rules for the better....if not...only leaking it is the only way to watch it like what they did with The Spirelm.

I actually read both when I feel I could dive more into the story and if a novel is available and the manghua/manhwa isnt enough....most manhwa am reading now though are stand alone original story....and less to no censorship 😁

The only way the drama probably can be released outside China is with the approval of China censorship board governing entertainment (NRTA)....as the drama has been registered with them already.....If Immortality wasnt registered under NRTA then production could have sold its airing rights to international platforms....or they can leak it then take down😅....but that would be a lost for production....or just wait until if China soften their banning on these dramas...so its a waiting game I guess....

Yes it looks a bit too gay....because its literally adapted from a BL novel thats explicitly gay....Even though this drama that was supposed to be released long-ago....all the oblivious gay scenes would have being avoided because of censorship, but subtle elements would have being present similar to BL/Bromance drama The Untamed....but if you cant even handle that...no use being here....because gay things are discussed here on a regular basis.

I mean that can pass because the gay relationship is not the center plot of the novel plus its not an BL adaptation, and they will probably just " Bromance ".... the actors interactions..
but hey....if they are using it to test the waters and things are fine and will open a way for Immortality and others to air.....I have no issue at all.

Well it did grab the government attention thats for sure....hence XZ and WYB was probably directed not to interact in public to draw attention to themselves...but even after that WOH was aired and Immortality was next in line....but everything went to hell after WOH pushed promotings against censors....then ZZH scandal....and Kris Wu being detained and then arrested at the time....thats when the huge Campaign to curb online toxic fandom( which by the way didnt work..😅)....boycott and then banned Bl adaptations and crack down on sissy men...and kpop influences....plus the Milk Scandal caused them to banned idol competition shows.....so I guess its a little bit of everything....

Well its said that HYX...is a difficult case bacause it portray a relationship between a teacher and his student and morally wise its not favorable( as if so much Shizun and Deciple falling in love....BG drama doesnt already exist in Cdramas already 🙄😑).... Ngl..Im surprised this drama is even mentioned given Chen Muchi( Lucas Chen)... one of the leads in GOTL...recent same sex relationship and cheating controversies....putting that aside if it airs and no issues arises, I guess Immortality also may get a shot...lets see what happens.

Thats the issue, when any one of these dramas air...an controversy always arise whether valid or not...which then push back airing or another ban again...if they are giving them a chance to air no problem as I welcome it....as JITD was said to stopped because of licensing and copyright issues and Spirealm was a.." technical mistake"😅.... but for some reason...Im not really optimistic as we know how Cdramaland can be in the last minute.

I love Jinx because Jaekyung is true to his character, thats how he is from day one since the start of the manhwa, and he doesnt just magically change because we as readers wants him to....but what I can admit is something happened in his life that made him the way he is...similar like what changed Moran..but in his case it would have to be something trumatic and thats being foreshadowed now in recent chapters.
