Here's my theory: there is NO WAY one can criticize LYX's stellar performance here, so the LYX trolls/haters are focusing on his relationship with Ashui to detract from the success of this series. Also, they hated all the female generals too in other series - seems like they're ugly b's who can't stand someone beautiful being loved by the ML or wish he'd have a BL instead.

If it was Bai Lu, would there be so many complaints - I don't know Jelly Lin but I think she's really pretty and not acting any worse than the other TLC female acquaintances, so why the hate?

It's so enjoyable to watch this - the scene in ep 18 has special effects but here you can see LYX's talent and know that he loves dancing

Wow Ep12, the fight with the Sword King - shows Luo Yunxi as beauty in motion. I've never seen such grace and power before. Just this one episode deserves a 12+ rating. I'll be watching it again and again long after today for his moves, the flowing robes and the ribbons. Appreciate also the long confrontation - took a lot of effort by both actors and the filmmakers, it's worth the value of some of the other entire series.

I don't know who she is, but she appears to have saved him more than once with her blood. Now can all the BL folks leave her alone - the opposition has gotten much larger since the "kiss" which was to save him from that killer sound. If you're shipping Tang Lici with another male, you can do so without hating on all the female acquaintances he has.

No one but Luo Yunxi could have better played this ethereal role. The haters must be the children who are enjoying teenage fairy tales and ugly graphics which I can draw myself, with plushies , rubber artifacts and cartoon like characters. Sad that so few can appreciate a series with deeper meaning than romcom/mean fathers and court politics and a martial world full of idiots.
