I lived in LA before and I get what you are saying. But it's not really limited to LA (or California in general). But I'm quite sure the "Western" reality dating shows have some sort of influence on how he acts in this show - just look at Love Island, and compare it with idk... PBB? Or any other reality show in Philippines? But wait - reality dating show in Philippines is not even a thing (I just notice that). Last attempt they do if I recall was this ABSCBN Qpids - which is not even a dating show but a search for "loveteam". Is there a reality dating show in Philippines other than Sparks Camp?? Hmm
Finally done with this drama. Basically it started okay with a long non-sense in between and a good ending. The whole romance in this series is just don't make any sense. They get on all of a sudden with two people, then they just drop it and decide to go with another. It makes zero sense, no build up. And at the end of the series, poor ML, he is not even the "main guy" who the two FL fought after.
So confused, what exactly is the role of Gun? It feels like he is a relative, always around in the family, yet feels like he is a bodyguard or secretary or a driver of some sort. So confused.
I think him growing up in America have some influence in the way he is acting in the show. He probably have the idea of reality dating show in the likes of Love Island, where he can simply jump from one person to another week to week.
It is interesting to see all of these gays represent a gay guy that you probably know in real life - and I'm loving it.
In the latest episode i was questioning zuhers genuineness with .artin. lime is he doing this bcs he really likes…
He is a celebrity, or at least attempt to. It's so funny because his age reflects mine. As soon as he appear in the screen, I remember him as one of the contestants in the first Star Circle Quest.
It almost felt like this is the closest Love Island can be in Philippines. I like that it step up from being safe to a more daring reality dating show.
Universe is a walking red flag because week to week he appears to pursue one person to another. Cant really trust his words when actions dont match his words.
Not sure how this drama rated so high. First 10 episodes drag so much, then you have the second lead romance, which I have no clue how it ties in to the theme of the show. And when you think things get interesting, they abruptly wrap it up. The characters are adorable, I enjoyed them - the cast and characters, but the execution and story feels so long that things can be condensed to 1 hour. In all honesty, I'd rather the FL brother to have a secondary romance, rather than her friend. Just not my cup of tea, I guess. Even the supernatural element feels lacking and subpar.
Yknow what could have made this better? if the two lead males fall for each other and made it a BL. The two have great chemistry over them paired up with the FL.
Not sure about this. Individually, the story is quite interesting because of the character development, but I don't see the chemistry. I had to watch this multiple times, because I fall asleep watching along the way.
