can someone tell me why this drama has a low rating???? This is literally a masterpiece. I would watch an episode…
i think the violence and extreme ridiculousness alienate some viewers. i like it tho, but feels they could have explore more and a lot of unanswered questions too.
Love Billkin. But I felt that he did not fully showcase his acting prowess in this movie. I really love this kind of theme - Thai-Chinese culture. I just hope tho that Billkin does not get stereotyped or be pigeon holed to Thai-Chinese character (Teh basically is Thai-Chinese). Overall, the movie was great and simple. But personally I was not move into tears that much, I felt it could have been better.
I'm a bit confused. Why did the politician kidnap the sister in the first place?
There is a flashback story, which I think you missed?
Way back, the younger sister was "passed" to the politician by the car guy, after finding her underwear at the back of the car. This was because the car guy raped her in the politician's car - when it was sent for fixing or maintenance. This is how the politician gets involved and repeatedly bully and rape the younger sister. At some point, the older sister (main character) followed her younger sister - seeing her go to politician's car - then to hotel room - that's where politician drugged the younger sister, forced her to drink pills by pouring orange juice to her. Older sister crashed the hotel room, had a fight and the politician got his eye stabbed.
Politician got angry for not finding the older sister to his lap dog bodyguard - whom he sent out to collect the younger sister - when the car guy call him for money to pay to the pimp. Well, basically the bodyguard sided with the older sister - which the politician found out and he got killed?
Politician now had the younger sister because well, (1) he paid for her, and (2) wants revenge against older sister for whole eye thing.
The politician did not intentional kidnap the younger sister. It was just so happen the car guy called him, whom he got a call from supermarket guy. The supermarket guy picks up the call from the younger sister because her older sister did not pick up the phone as she was trying to find her. But - yea, it just so happen that the politician anyway was looking for this older sister for revenge.
I like this kind of genre, but this is pale for a movie called 'No Mercy', was expecting the revenge to be horrifying to those offenders - yet, the main character spared them with mercy. It's also well and good until they inject some political figure, which is more like a goon/syndicate head. I don't know the difference - and why specifically his role as council man up the stake - when it did not feel like it did. And besides, really? a politician getting involved in this? I get that he wanted a revenge against the main character for the whole eye thing - but man, it's so weak. He knew the girl will do anything and everything for her sister - yet he is ill prepared after taking over the kid from the pimp? Is he really that stupid?
My first impression was this is straight up action packed mafia but then I got confused because it's comedic. This is one of those things that I should have not relied on face value poster and synopsis -_-
Currently on episode 9, and I was like... they made a big deal out of the ML kid in the first episode, and he is in the hospital... but like 9 episodes in, he is pretty much out of the picture. Like, huh?
i dont know but it felt like the whole story was just hodge podge of whatever. it did not make any sense to me. I guess the only highlight is when the main lead has to take off his shirt to cut down bamboo trees lol
Not sure whats the point of his trip in Manila. Was that to establish that he crossed path with Park Hyeong Sa? Did he kill him? Or was that to provide an alibi for supposed murders happening? Can't really understand what the writers trying to convey. Felt like his stay in Manila should be more significant.
I mean, the anime also didnt have such a mind warping ending, it's predictable.
I meant that I do not know the character from anime or any adaptation, but when she was told that she has a visitor and an expert on parasite, I knew then that it has to be one of the characters from the anime or some adaptation lol
Great series, hold my interest, but comes down to predictable storyline and ending. Even the supposedly surprise ending is not surprising at all for me, I pretty much called it - despite me haven't read anime, watch any other parasyte movie or adaptation lol
Ugh. James is just so good. He deserves more projects like this. For some reason, none of these characters are…
So what exactly are they going to run now? At first it sounds like a bigger provincial temple but now that it was revealed that the drug syndicate is really existing - bigger than Tang's operation - are they expected to run the drug syndicate? I am still confused on how the drug syndicate operating behind the trio's profiteering game. What exactly the role of Ekkachai?

For some reason, none of these characters are actually likeable for me. All of them are quite frustrating, because of bad choices they make.
I enjoyed the series, until they have to throw in the whole drug syndicate angle and open ended plot twist in the end. It just seem forced and begging for second season.
Feels like the lawyer/debt collector Yos will come back with a bigger role. Monk Dol has to go. And I wish the culprit or what exactly happen with their NFT gets resolved.
