I REALLY REALLY HATE this kind of selfish attitude of Iris.
(1) Dude suffered from mom leaving him. She should have known better not to leave without telling him the reason.
(2) You don't get to say, you left because you don't want him to see you weak or that you want to alleviate his suffering. NOT KNOWING and LETTING HIM WAIT is a much more painful process.
I really hate people leaving others hanging. It's like living in purgatory every day. So just what if, she got her treatment - she comes back. What excuse she is going to make? That's not how partnership works. You do it together.
It is okay. Nothing remarkable. Felt like the movie relies solely on the tandem, the story is tired, the setup is frustrating, and the characters are quite shallow, IMO. Not carried away with any emotions, tbh. But gotta be honest, David is really handsome. Barbie is Barbie.
I was quite amused at how the writers clearly wanted to explain that cheng hao is gay and has the hots for fei…
OMG. Totally the vibe! The writers are so subtle. But three scenes made me convince:
1. Cheng Hao went in to bring towel for Fei Ke, with him showering. This scene repeated twice. 2. Cheng Hao making Fei Ke switch different attires. 3. The video chat with his parents!
I don't get the hype lol. It's a good thriller, but my expectation was just too high, I guess? The whole premise…
I wish they had made him really a psycho killer, and have some kind of redemption arc. Feels like the whole sister and "real" baek hee sung took that away. As soon as they were introduced, I knew that he is not "evil" or "bad" - and that pretty much made it easier storytelling to tell for the cop-'not really a killer' husband/wife dynamic.

It was way too long. Once you are one third on the film, you pretty much seen everything. Cinematography was great tho, the whole one shot filming was amazing.
Do u think martin and zuher would have been end game if mother slsrker never told them to review thier sparks…
lol no idea, but one thing for sure. most of these folks are out there to pursue a career in show business or at least increase their social media following. Having said that, I felt like Zuher is there to pursue a mainstream acting; he was once in a reality talent show. Martin is probably there to inflate his social media following.
Universe: This is Sparks Camp, the point is to explore the different connections with everyone and see which ones…
It is Sparks Camp. Yes, and if you are going to explore different connections - then you have to be honest with it - and not make it sounded like you have decided on one person. And you became dishonest when you say one thing to one person, does not follow through and out of nowhere you hook on to another person.
Did he really get the whole point? What is the whole point of the show anyway? If the end goal is mutual spark - then did he get one? Exploring multiple connections won't really get you to that.
The first two did not feel "right", or should I say, the most unexpected.
I was banking on Miggy on choosing Martin. But it feels odd and came out of nowhere when he chose Allan. I guess the whole pushup and kiss thing was the spark? IDK. It feels so odd.
Pipoy choosing Ejay. I would have thought Pipoy would choose Seichi, but I'm guessing after the first few episodes, he get over with it and the whole parent connection with Ejay signal him to choose Ejay. IDK. I wished there are more conversations, dates and getting to know scenes around Pipoy. Feels bad for him as he did not really connect with other campers on that romantic level.
The rest of the sparks giving was predictable. I know Martin and Zuher will choose each other. Paco and Universe deservingly get dumped and not chosen. It was predictable, because the people they chose had respective connections - and they both explored too much connections for short lived dating show. Had this been a 1 month affair, perhaps, they would have found their mutual. Lets face it, who can't resist their "handsomeness".
