Because they are two heterosexuals who don't feel much like playing gay men.
It has nothing to do with that. And even if this is a heterosexual relationship, I will still be questioning their motive. Because the plot will still be the same. I have no problem with the actors, the actors did well enough to justify the script. Even if you put the gayest of gay in the script, it will still be the same - doctor was asked by cop's mom to take care of him, doctor committed euthanasia, doctor wants to honor cop's mom wishes AND cover his act - all of a sudden "fell in love" with cop and ask him out, cop is suspicious of doctor, decided to take up his offer because he wants to know the truth and find evidence, cop found out, arrested him. So, what makes it different if it is played by straight girl, bi male, gay male, trans male, or heck even asexual male or female - because at the end of the day, their motives conveniently aligned and masked by supposed romance.
I think that as much as Thailand makes 1000 Bls a year, the actors are conservative, many don't know how to kiss…
It has nothing to do with that even. Kan asked Tew out in the oddest and abrupt way. Both have motive for seeing each other. What does have to do with shyness and conservativeness? Thailand is even neither. Both literally have bed scene. The romance angle actually feel unnecessary and almost a mere plot point.

huh. it has nothing to do with actor kissing or what. there is nothing wrong with the actors, in fact, they did well considering been placed in a questionable plotting (or perhaps intentional and fan serving for bl romance).
Sorry but I dont really see the two leads liking each other, felt the romance is so forced, and everything seem unnatural?
It appears Kan only like Tew because of honoring the wish of his patient (Tew's mother), to take care of Tew. Tew, on the other hand, take advantage of this, as a cop - going after and finding out the truth - agreed on the setup and relationship. His action and reaction towards Kan is to 'move away'. Sure, he cares. But it is because he is a good guy - and a cop. I felt bad that he was put in a situation and I don't see how it ended to be reflection of how he felt - but it was because he pitied Kan.
could be bcz he is the only one we can think of. and Baku and all will take a revenge for him, on the other hand…
if theres s3, they might play it off putting guilt on Baku gang for the death (just like how Si Eun felt for Su Ho, but later would uncover that it was Mr Choi. I think S3 will escalate and it will end up with killings.
I have no clue what on earth is happening from start to end. And jeez how dumb the police lady is. And whats with the whole shaman thing - is it even necessary? And I cant understand the autistic girl, like... I cant at all.
am I the only one that thinks that dramas where there's like one murder with no mystery or plot twists should…
Well to begin with, there's more than one murder. That's why they talk about serial killing. And I think the murder plot is more of subplot and used to showcase romance/relationship/characters. It's not really a plot driven series.
I thought at first by just the title and cast, I thought it's going to be heavy drama/thriller like Before We Get Married, but it's not.
I like the slice of life take of marriage. I would probably rate it higher if I was married. I'm guessing this will be more relatable and impactful for someone especially in Taiwan who is married.
I like the subplot of Soulmate, we all knew this will be the finale plot.
The ML family is enjoyable to watch, but I was hoping that the FL's side family also has participation. It's just suck, but that's kinda the reality of dynamic of Chinese marriage.
I really dont see any chemistry between the two leads. :\ Plot is also contrived and annoying/frustrating. Nonetheless, comedic antics held the series.
