So many thoughts in my head. If I have to make a spoiler-free comment, I would say that it was better than I expected. I always fear for sequels, and this one the story and cinematography delivered. But if I would compare this to the first one, it was a bit off.
1. The music was not as compelling. The first series has the music integrated into the storyline and it helps you to appreciate it more. In here, the music was a bit forgetable, there's nothing to tether it to the story.
2. There is a lot more moments between Teh and Oh in the first series for obvious reason.
3. The dramatic moments were not as intense as the first series. There was so many moments in first series where you see Bikin breakdown and they are all quite intense.
4. Overall I still like the series and how it was handled. I know there are so many hates towards Teh and Jai for obvious reasons, but I think people needs to realize that they had to put the character shoes to better understand their action. Besides, not everything has to be fairytale.
5. Favorite moments are the subtle moments, and foreshadowing. The writers are so clever enough just like in first series to put those in.
I give it 9 out of 10, a point down from the first series.

And the fact that it was in 8, which in chinese culture is the luckiest number. We all know the two of them brings good fortune to each other because they slept on the same piece of lucky charm paper made by Teh's mom.
The movie feels like in the same vibe and universe/genre as the Ghost Lab. It will be nice to see another Thai Netflix movie that has the same feel - med students or doctors experimenting on something.

YEP. I've watched In Family We Trust a long time ago, it's also one of my favorite series. But I don't really recall so much about the show being in a professional setting rather than so much angst between family members and trying to solve a murder mystery. I was a bit disappointed tho because I recall one of the family (Konkan, Vegas) was not given a good amount of shared screen time.

I prefer it to have no mention of age as it becomes more ambiguous and let the audience guess which version of the characters is in this event. But that was just me.
I literally searched this before in Thai VPN, but none of the thai shows are appearing. I thought that was odd, so I switched to a different thai vpn server and lo and behold, I found all the goodness that I want !!!! Now I can stream a lot of shows.
So good. I finally got to see and watched these people outside of being a student lol. All the things that I like was here - bromance, thriller, supernatural, horror, gore, science/nerd.

Yea, I don't trust that. Is she even a writer or creator of the series? I think that is just plainly her own interpretation or understanding. A random person asking say, Yuri or any other characters of the series will respond differently. And ultimately, who knows if there was more season, the writers will reveal more. Heck, even interviews with producers and writers are not reliable.
