Xiao Wuyi is supposed to have a brother in KTTPH but at the time of the articles being published in July, they stated Neo Hou's character is 世子 which usually pertains to being the heir of a noble house as the oldest son of the first wife. Since the clip has HMH going on about his 大哥, I adapted accordingly. Of course, there is a way for the articles to be correct... Which is to have Xiao Wuyi's older brother perish without a heir, and Xiao Wuyi becomes the heir to their father due to circumstances and achievements.
The weibo clip I shared is the first part of the scene where Ai Mi's character is napping while HMH's character is micro-emoting. Fairy不修仙's clip is from a different angle for the second part of the scene, just before Ai Mi's character wakes up.

People will say whatever they want. What is most important is what each actor achieves to add to their career, for their goals. He Landou is the female actress of greatest interest to me, followed by Ai Mi and Li Landi. These three are very smart in their career paths and have a lot of potential because they aim to improve their acting akin to playing a guzheng as opposed to playing a piano, unlike an unfortunate Li Qin who can act well in the right modern drama or historical drama but (she or her agency or both) picks the worst scripts or roles. That's why Fated Hearts might be her best work to date when it airs in September, given the script and the role finally matching.
Trying to catch the eye of heavyweight directors such as Chen Kaige, Tsui Hark or Zhang Yimou literally means something outstanding in a role attached to a decent or good drama script has to be produced first. These directors already ignore almost every popular hot actor or actress in C-land for the past 20 years because they want their Gong Li (muse of Chen Kaige and Zhang Yimou), their Lin Ching-hsia (muse of Tsui Hark and other directors of the 80s and 90s) or someone who demonstrates potential to reach that level. And it's a fact that many actors and actresses just cannot reach that cut, regardless of how many fans they have.
