True Love's Kiss
This is such a cute, fluffy, hilarious, mini drama! This drama probably won't win any awards but it is hands down one of the cutest, funniest things I've seen so far.Is the story silly? Why yes it is the guy turns into a pig (a literal pig) at night and only true love's kiss before he turns 27 can save him from staying that way forever. That sounds pretty silly to me. However the silly works here.
If you're looking for something light and fluffy to watch between heavier dramas this is the one for you.

Not as bad as it seems
This was such a cute, funny movie. I laughed out loud and 'awwwed' in equal measure. The bath scene was hilarious. It was highly entertaining and has a lovely happy ending.
I didn't really understand why Kurosaki Haruto (played by Nakajima Kento) was such an enormous a** to her unless it was because of the old "You only hurt the ones you love." Not that it was an excuse but anyone watching this movie knew he liked her from the beginning. I was still thrilled when she chose him at the end.
I also don't understand why she accepted his behavior unless it was because he was a hottie and she still saw herself as an 'ugly' duckling. Which I don't think is an excuse either.
If you like cute, fluffy, romantic movies with a highly aggressive, possessive male lead give this one a try. Just remember it's all fiction and not real life.
However if you prefer your male leads to be sweet, gentle puppies this is definitely not the movie for you.

If you're looking for a male mermaid story...
This is one to watch if you're looking for a male mermaid story. It's a cute, funny, silly mini drama. It kind of reminded me of The Starry Night, the Starry Sea (with Feng Shao Feng but not as good nor as sad).At first the male and female leads grated on my nerves a bit but by the second episode it was better.
It tries to get a little angsty with the second pairing but honestly she irritated me so much I wouldn't have cared if she had ended that way. But of course true love works miracles (ain't that always the case).
The last episode (all 6:10 mins of it) is the happy ending for both couples.
Overall I'd say this one is worth at least a one time watch if you like adorably cute (but sometimes not that bright) guys who happened to be mermaids.
On the other hand if you like your dramas with a little more 'teeth' to them this isn't the one for you.

Beautiful, breathtaking romance
Beautiful, breathtaking and heartbreakingly sad romance drama.I put off watching this drama because of being told how sad it was. Let me tell you, I was missing out on a beautiful romance. There are a lot of gorgeous scenes between Zhou Sheng Chen and Shi Yi. Although their love story isn't in words they say out loud but in their eyes and their actions towards each other. Each wanting, needing the other but there are reasons he has to keep his distance.
If you like Ren Jai Lun, you won't regret watching this. He is an awesome actor, who without one kiss scene can show more depth of love and romance than all the more 'spicy' dramas combined. From the moment he steps on screen he is the heart of this story.
If you decide to give this drama a chance please remember this isn't a happy story... for anyone, have a box of tissues ready (although the sad parts won't come until the last few episodes) and have Forever and Ever ready to watch immediately after this.
For me one of the saddest parts was when she was reading the blood letter he wrote before dying.
"I’ve never let down or hurt anyone in this world, expect Shi Yi."
Even though it did break my heart and leave me crying buckets of tears I don't regret for one second watching One and Only.
and on a related note Wang Xing Yue was phenomenal as the villain Liu Zi Xing.

What could have been
I wished I could've liked this more than I did. It had great potential but somehow it missed it.I like a good time travel drama, the kind where the time travel is at the beginning and then again at the end if the character has to go back to his or her own time. Which is what I thought this drama would be. She would go back in time to save him, they'd fall in love, she would stop him from dying, they'd come back to the present and tada happily ever after.
Unfortunately, that is not what I got. There was a lot of back and forth, back and forth, she'd save him from dying one way and then lo and behold he'd die a whole new way.
The FL was way too irritating. She'd go from not wanting to be away from him so she could protect him to pushing him away to protect him. Honestly, it got old in a hurry.
I felt so sorry for Ryu Seon Jae. She broke his heart over and over again. At no time did she deserve him.
Although the ending was a happy one, for me it was still a bitter pill to swallow after all she had put him through.
The only reason to watch this is if you're a fan of Byeon Woo Seok (he is perfect as Ryu Seon Jae), otherwise I'd give it a pass.

Worth a shot
This is a great drama! Interesting storyline (2 people frozen for 20 years they come back to a changed world), little angst and the romance was romancing. It doesn't deserve 7.6 stars but way more than 10 stars. This was my first time watching Ji Chang Wook and he was fantastic as the male lead Ma Dong Chan. I definitely plan on watching more of his dramas.
The FL wasn't irritating until right at the last episode, thankfully she comes to her senses.
Her little brother was adorable, his scenes definitely require a box of tissues.
The 2FL( the ex girlfriend) was irritating as h*** she did some horrible stuff and got away with it. This was the only bad thing in this drama.
The ending was a happy one but a bit rushed.
If scifi isn't your thing and you can't suspend disbelief for 16 episodes then look elsewhere because this drama won't be for you.
However if you like scifi, romance with 2 people trying to make sense of the changed world they now found themselves in, all while falling in love with each other then give this one a shot.

Tug at your heartstrings
A movie starring Lee Jun Ho? Yes please!Lee Jun Ho as a male gisaeng in said movie? *grabby hands* A thousand times yes!
I thought I would get at least a moderately funny, entertaining movie and with Lee Jun Ho in the forefront as the Joseon's first male gisaeng I was really looking forward to the comedy. But what I got wasn't only comedy... oh, there were a lot of funny parts, hilarious even but more than, dare I say better than that what I did get was an amazing, beautiful, poignant, bittersweet... in short everything I could want in a movie.
The comedy was laugh out loud funny.
The angst was a box of tissues by your side.
The romance was beautifully done. It wasn't in steamy displays or even in words but in feelings captured in the eyes. He does use his words once when he tells her "Pom rak khun" means beautiful but she never finds out until the very end (and not from him) that it really means "I love you" and by then it is way too late.
Lee Jun Ho was brilliant and captivating as Heo Saek. When he smiled I smiled, when he laughed I laughed, when he danced I was stunned and when he cried, I was in tears.
If you're looking for a movie that will tug at your heartstrings this is it. This is a slow burn historical romance of two characters with deep feelings for each that can't be acted on despite how much they both want to. The ending is sad... well neither die so it's more bittersweet in my opinion but still a tearjerker.
Please keep in mind this movie won't be for everyone. If you need fast paced, happy endings, displays of affection in the form of steamy kisses... this won't be for you.

Kind of realistic
This was a great, entertaining drama. The male lead was hot, the skinship was on fire, the story was realistic (kind of)Oh but that FL.... (it would have been a solid 10 for me if not for her.)
To say the she drove me nuts would be an understatement.
Nabi saw Park Jae Eon and right away sparks flew, he liked her, she liked him and one thing led to another and then boom she wanted more. She wanted him to love her exclusively even though she had known from the very beginning that's not what he wanted. He'd told her exactly who he was, she went into the relationship with her eyes wide open.
She saw a gorgeous guy and immediately was interested, of course because he's hot. But, and here comes the wrong part, when a man (or anyone for that matter) tells you who they are, what they like, etc... believe them. Don't go chasing or stepping into a situation and think "Oh, I can change him." because 9 times out of 10 you can't and then you get pissed at him because he didn't change for you. (and I speak from personal experience)
But instead of believing him she stepped into a friends with benefits relationship but expected more and managed to hurt them both.
There's a scene where she's kind of dating the 2ML and then she kisses the ML, he pulls back and asks "Is this okay?" because obviously he had no problem with it. But she gets mad at him and she was the one that started it.
What I mean by kind of realistic goes back to the 9 times out of 10 he's not going to change and yet in this instance we see them walking away hand in hand. In real life I would predict a lot of unhappy moments for both of them.
Would I recommend it? Yes, but with a caveat, if you like a realistic depiction of friends with benefits, that has a happy but not a very realistic ending, a gorgeous ML, a lot of steamy scenes and if you can ignore an irritating FL, give this one a try.
However if you can't stand a ML who only wants friends with benefits relationships then give this one a pass because it will just make you angry.

Cute palate cleanser
A very cute drama that won't win any awards but does what it sets out to do... it entertains with an interesting story, little to no angst, funny scenes, slow romance gets going in last couple of eps.In the beginning the male lead comes across as an a**, a cutie with maybe good reasons, but still an a** nonetheless. He does redeem himself in later episodes.
The female lead played the part well and wasn't irritating, although the constantly calling his name could grate a bit. (Kind of reminded me of the female lead in Love and Redemption always yelling out Sifeng!)
It has a great happy ending.
Use as a non serious watch after the more heavier dramas, a palate cleanser if you will and you won't be disappointed.

Depends on what you're looking for....
This is great mini drama! It had everything one could hope for: the ML was gorgeous, the FL wasn't irritating (although her voice took some getting used to), the story was interesting, the actors were talented, the music was good, the romance... oh the romance, while the kissing scenes weren't bad (seen better but have definitely seen worse) it was the longing in each other's eyes that made the romance memorable. You couldn't help but root for them to finally be together. It would have been a solid 10 for me but I knocked it down to 9.5 because of that ending...
*Here comes a spoiler*

While the ending was a happy one, it was definitely on the rushed side as in... they stand apart staring at each other... the end. *sigh* I was hoping for more... I wanted more. But alas, that is what we got.
Should you watch? Well, that depends on what you're looking for. If you like your ML gorgeous, the FL not too irritating and a story that will keep you entertained for around 5 hours then give this one a shot. If however you need something with more teeth and more spice this is not the mini drama for you.

Award winning, maybe not but...
What a fantastic mini drama! From the first episode it hooks you in and doesn't let go until the very end.It had everything one could possibly hope for in a mini drama; the story was entertaining, the romance was believable and even the angst was just enough not to be overwhelming, the OST was good.
Caesar Wu lit up the screen as the scrumptious male lead, Yin Zhuo Feng!!
Usually, the sweet and innocent FL suddenly trying to be bada** doesn't work for me. But this FL really earns the name bada** and isn't irritating in the least.
It does have a HE.
I do feel that some warning should be known before choosing to blindly watch this. There is blood (and lots of it), death, drugs, suicide, time jump and the idiotic break up (break her heart) for her own good trope.
Having said that, if none of the above are triggers for you then I do recommend giving this one a watch (at least once).
Award winning, maybe not but... what it will do is keep you entertained for 27 episodes (about 9 hours total). And honestly, what more could you ask for from a mini drama?

It's in his kiss
Wow! What a fantastic vertical drama! It had everything... hot, steamy kisses (and French kisses at that) a great romance, let's not forget a stunningly gorgeous male lead, a female lead that wasn't too irritating especially once she was reborn, great suggestive laugh out loud scenes. All in all a vertical drama that is well worth the watch. The only thing that could have made it better would've been being able to watch it on a major streaming site like Viki with better subtitles.
If you want to know if you should watch this I'd say it's in his kiss. If you like a gorgeous male lead who isn't afraid to give a kiss (not the kind we usually see, you know the smush the lips together and pray viewers find it oh so romantic) His kisses were of French design, toe curling, spine tingling, pushed against the wall, gasping for air, the tempted to call your significant other in the room and hope they take the hint kind of kiss. Then give this one a shot you may really like it.
However if you like your dramas with a lot more teeth then you should look elsewhere. This drama is basically all about the romance and the heat.
This was my first time watching Liu Lan Bo, I will definitely be on the look out for more of his dramas.

If you're a Liu Xue Yi fan...
After reading the novel and loving it, I was looking forward to watching this drama. However it was nothing like the book...no, not even the ending. The book was a HE. The drama was not. It was a maybe, eventually, some day, some time she might, hopefully find a way to come back. Meanwhile she might be a butterfly, a bug, the breeze, etc....To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I had such high hopes for this drama.
Having said that it wasn't all bad:
1. Liu Xue Yi was amazing in this role but that's unsurprising. He's a fantastic actor and he looked very good in this part. He's also the only reason I gave this 8 stars. Without him, I would have dropped the drama after the first 3 episodes.
2. The OST is awesome!
So, if you're a Liu Xue Yi fan and you haven't read the book then give this a chance you may like it. If you have read the book, forget everything you've read and you may enjoy the drama. Otherwise if you're like me you'll spend almost every episode saying "That's not what happened in the book."
If you don't know any of the actors and you love very slow burn romance fantasy, a gorgeous male lead who is morally grey and a SE then give this a try.

Cute & Fluffy
This was such a cute drama! She's lost her voice and finds that kissing him restores her ability to speak. (I could make a rather inappropriate joke about magic healing but I fought the urge)
Fluffy and Sweet. No angst, no bad guys, no break ups just pure romance and kisses! With a happy ending (abrupt but happy nonetheless)
As a warning, the subtitles are atrocious and some are non-existent but if you like angst free, cute and fluffy romance the bad subtitles do not take away from this drama. Definitely worth the watch.
It can be found on Youtube with the title "She wanted to kiss him every time they met. He hated it at first, but later he became addicted."

With the summary and other reviews you already know what the mini drama is about so I'll just hit the main points.1. If you like mini dramas this is a great watch. If you don't like them... don't bother.
2. Highly entertaining. The good guys win.
3. Her voice (especially when she does the baby talk) can and will be really irritating. (or that could just be me)
4. The 2ML and the 2FL are very much a pain in the a** when trying to get the main leads attention. But they did move on with each other.
5. The romance part is very romantic.
6. Great kisses!
7. Little angst.
8. Happy ending!
