I am dropping this drama...I really had lot of expectations from this drama...... But I can't stand what I saw in ep 14....like Shen xing's romantic arc....is truly unnecessary...I always imagined him as a non-romantic character, they can show character development in dozen ways but this was literally the worse way to show......With all the chaos going in trilateral slopes, Shen Xing on one fine day falling for Cui Jie and having a one-night stand with her.....Like dude WTF, I don't understand what ailment Chinese drama makers are suffering which makes them so obsessed with romance to add it recklessly in every single genre,.....I am literally against it coz romance was not needed here at all... No offence to this drama's lovers...but I seemingly can't put up with protagonist having romance in such plot-wise enthralling story

Yes I also feel like that they are two different people in different timelines but with same names...if you remember ultimate note there it was mentioned that there are two types of Zhang lineage...one represents North & one represents South...one corresponds to good side & other to evil side...and the two lineages have people that share same name but completely different personalities
This drama is certainly being produced in China or else the cast & crew won't have booting ceremony with red envelopes...MYATB didn't have one .... And judging by the look & style of traditional ancient costume, it doesn't look like it's in the hands of another country 's production house.....if anyone has seen MYATB costumes carefully, then they would agree, on surface it looks same but there lot of little trinkets & intricate designs & patterns+ embellished hair makeup, is definitely the work of Chinese production team coz countries like Thailand/Taiwan can't at all afford the budget of such ornate traditional hanfu...... I bet that this drama is produced in China,....for a long time haven't seen any Chinese production of BL adaptations after the death Kaleidoscope....it was probably the last dangai that obtained the shooting license in China ... If this one is indeed produced inside China, then it's a good sign for all the danmei adaptations to break free from their Cage
