Didn't you notice, Lei Ming carries with him a small box in which there is tiny leaflet & a snail which he keeps poking 😂 whenever he is pondering about sth Also Romance arc is unnecessary when you know that story is unlike other highschool dramas..... heavily focused on their struggles & exam preparation .....I can understand if the two have empathy for each other coz they are birds of same feather flocking together but it's really not necessary to add between them a romantic storyline especially when the characters of Lir Ran & Cheng Yushan are hard to tame kind of , and both are psychologically insecure about opening themselves to others ..... It would be better if they focused more on team-building & their friendship as a whole.....they even hint a love triangle between CYS-LR-JQL, then there is BXX somewhat crushing over JQL and feel jealous of CYS .......like is that all necessary in the midst of what they are caught up in.....

Yes you are absolutely right the character growth of these five kids is slower than the speed of snails( And the fact that Lei Ming likes snails 😂, which is why he is putting up with this those ungrateful brats regardless of their indifference towards him😭 but it's feels pitiful as viewers to see a Mentor -mentee dynamic going one sided, students are apathetic towards their teacher, cm'on like they aren't kidzee preschoolers who want everything to be spoon-fed, they ought to take initiative to bridge the gap from their side, why is always the teacher breaking the sweat to fix every loose thread....) 3rd case was so interesting & intricated, it compelled me to remain seated for hours to binge watch all eps in a row.....🤗 The drama is doing well so far in terms of plot & pace but my bromance heart keeps sufferring 😭 I can't help but laugh my ass off when I saw that horse riding scene focusing on their legs, I wonder if anyone else noticed that too🤣I have become a bromantic clown 🤡

I want to add one more, when lan Jinghui comes back from Singapore after having bone marrow transplant, he meets ling Dong after school & ling Dong pours his heart out as how important lan Jinghui is to him , & how much his absence affected him.... after this scene, the words they spoke to each other perfectly mimics wedding vows 🧧🎎 and that hugg scene later is the cherry on top accomplishing their bromantic wedding 😭😂 Also Ling Dong & Lan Jinghui do everything for each other which the other two guys do for their respective female crush/partners.....😅Xiao hua is just a matchmaker🤡 between them In more accurate words, Xiao hua is the guardian of our bROMANTIC couple to ward off censorship evil spirits 🤣

That is really not a bl scene....and I know bl is banned in China.....🤣 I have known that for past 5 years....it's been so long waiting for those Dangai dramas to be out .....and I know bromance is also sort of banned but when I said tencent is timid is coz other broadcasting networks have released some bromance themed shows over the past few months(2024 itself) with lot of implied erotic hints without trimming them,...and that was possible coz those dramas weren't based on bl novels that is why i said that ,...example LSR, (youku) , WCL(iqiyi) & BT(mgtv) these three dramas all based on non bl source novels have top tier level bromance without any censorship slaughtering effect....so isn't tencent proved to be the scaredy cat here, when its rival broadcasting networks can do that why can't it ??..... Also I am not a bl fan,.....I am only into bromance .....those Bromance scenes aren't going to drop any bl hints anyways......It just takes a little bit cleverness & courage to pass censorship.....MLC(iqiyi) is best epitome of that

All the dramas you mentioned do have bromance along with romance .. ....So I haven't watched any of them except lost tomb series....also I understand the indignation due to unnecessary female characters accompanying male characters but I think that has always been the sine qua non to bypass the NTRA censors against bromance but I think this drama would be worth my time if the female lead is not romantically paired with any of Male leads.....
Why tencent is so timid to cut every bromance scene short....the scene where song he falls into huole's arms after explosion.....they immediately trimmed it ...this drama is not even based on bl novel ..why do they have to be so scared as if their life depends on it🤣.......I can't believe 🐧😭 Anyways the bromance is so good,....I am impressed and the plot is very fast paced ...it looks like they trimmed a lot of things to pass censorship that's how it became so fast ....a league of nobleman also was same in terms of speed coz there also they slaughtered a lot of platonic scenes between the male leads to pass censorship , there was no time for proper relationship development....they trimmed evn friendship scenes between the ZP & his baby bro.....here they did same.....but the difference between the two is that ALON was completely soulless in terms of bromance ...here it's not , a bit of bromance is still existent so I will watch this for bromance + thriller.... moreover it's hard to see bromance dramas with detective fiction sort of plot (my fav genre) these days, so I will take whatever they give.....Beggars can't be choosers😂

I didn't see any bromance in tiger & crane ...it was just sort of friendship based but it failed to live upto my expectations... this is my personal opinion..... You might have different opinions on this, I can understand
