See guys, I mean no hate but seeing all Zhang Linghe current dramas out one after the another,...all of them so hopelessly romantic & possessive ...And Zhang Linghe has that aura of Romanticism....I can't believe it If i watch him playing bromance....he doesn't have any chemistry with his male costars in his previous works....I doubt him playing Hua Cheng would be as whipped for our Xie Lian in the drama as it was in the donghua 😭...... In any of Zhang Linghe previous dramas, that I had come across, I didn't see him exhibiting micro/nano expressiveness which is a very essential trait for all Dangai /bromance dramas to convey the depth of relationship between the male leads and still go unnoticed by censorship...... Even though I am willing to take anything they give us if it ever releases but I still wished if some other actor could play Hua Cheng ......

Why do I feel like this one is gonna be like being a hero.....I was expecting a little bit of bromance or sort of teamwork between the Jingyu & Ziqi....but looks like there ain't any....🤡 What a disappointment 😞.....
Kids in this drama are so frustrating esp. Cheng Yushan & Li Ran ..why do both of them behave like the world or evn Lei Ming owes them something ....these two are so ill-mannered students, one throwing objects at lei ming other trying to beat him ...the way they behave around Lei Ming doesn't depict the picture of students interacting with their Teacher......So what if Lei Ming, did if for buisness purposes....he is also a human not a saint....he doesn't have to put everyone else's concern above his own always......I was on ep 17, and annoyed as hell seeing the students attitude towards Lei Ming.....I am dropping the show from here onwards...I thought the kids will learn to be ground-hearted but they are too immature, even 5 years old would be more mature than them....after all what additional things, Lei Ming did for Li Ran....that brat had to find one thing to turn against him and forgot all those things that the poor teacher did for him selflessly on an account of benevolence

It did look like that to me also at first....but he didn't have romantic feelings for her...when the three were seeing the crackers exploding in the sky at new year's eve.....xiao hua was looking at ling Dong and ling Dong was looking at jing Hui while jing Hui was looking at the sky😂..... All in all these hints were given to pass censorship in my opinion...coz if you remember lan Jinghui had a moment of realisation when he found a piece of photograph in xiao hua's notebook that had the three of them but Ling Dong part was folded separately ...he initially Thought that Xiao hua definitely must be liking him coz he's more cool & handsome 😎🤣...... In the drama, I found scenes, where it slightly implied that both of the boys must have a thing for Xiao hua....but we know it's was all friendship .....🤩

I read your review, ...you highlighted crux of the drama, I found it very useful🥰...I have finished the drama a week ago but I still remember it clearly of what I saw...I had some doubts after reading your review though...hope you could answer it...you mentioned in your review that the second lead i.e Ling Dong had crush on Xiao Hua....but I never noticed that in the drama....I felt like ling Dong always had a friend zone with xiao hua....moreover Lan Jinhui finds out that xiao hua had a crush on Ling Dong through her notebook........I don't think so at any point, it was shown clearly abt Ling Dong crushing over Xiao hua.....it was always Xiao hua's unrequited love & one-sided crush and she too forgot abt it in the end....if you remember when Jinghui & Ling Dong were bickering over who between the two appears more handsome to Xiao hua's Parents...she clearly brushed it off, like she ain't care whoever it is......In the end too before extras.....Xiao Hua proved the friendship amongst the three of them & no longer a love interest......

I know reen this has romance...but the two male leads don't have love interest...the girl xiao hua has unrequited love....the remaining romance is with side couple...plus if you watch extra, that concludes altogether a different story....like there are two bromantic couples there...... but I guess this didn't receive much praise not because it has little bit romance to pass censorship but because hao fushen actor has a very serious dating scandal in the past which makes Cnetz against him....HIKARU NO GO got severe backlash in China coz of this actor....It all boils down to his scandal that the drama didn't make it to the top in my opinion
