I understand your feeling. Had a bad experience with Douluo Continent and Fight Break Sphere that kind of completely butchering the original. I also hoped for something still resemble the original when I started watching this drama. But, in the end the drama is quite good as its own. The CGI, costume, and make up also very good. And I endure until the end since I love Fan Yue characterization. The different naming is helping quite a bit, hahahahaha.

I also watched a few mini drama, but left unsatisfied. The problem with mini drama is I feel they lack of detail and complexity. But, year 2024 really is filled with flop dramas. I think nearly all costume dramas ended up in flop.

I hope this summer dramas are good. Last year was so disappointing.

I read that the filming just done Sep 2024. So summer this year can already considered fast. Which modern drama? The one with Song Wei Long? Honestly, I kind of staying away from Song Wei Long drama .....

I have seen it!! I am waiting for that one! Based on the information I've read, it will come out around this summer.

Mumu is so cute, hahahaha. But even with him "acting" tough, we can still see he is not Fan Yue.

Cannot agree more with you about Ao Rui Peng. He really surprised me here with Mumu, Fan Yue and Jing Yuan portrayal. Not many actor out there that can create three distinct character within one drama.

Exactly! You can just feel it in the aura whether it is Fan Yue or Jing Yuan. So happy for him here. Hopefully this drama can open more door to him. Truly looking forward for his future dramas.

Bai Lu has her stellar moment in this drama. But as a whole, I cannot say she impressed me. What make me like Ao Rui Peng acting here because I can see contrast between Mumu, Fan Yue, and Jing Yuan. Even when Fan Yue is still in Jing Yuan garb, I can clearly see it is Fan Yue. This kind of acting skill is rather rare in china drama world.

I endured this drama until the end, thanks to his acting and character. Even though I gave this drama 10/10, this drama actually is not that perfect. I have my reservation toward Bai Lu acting. But for Fan Yue, this drama is perfect.

He really did very well here as Fan Yue, Mumu, and Jing Yuan. I am looking forward for his next work

I know Ao Rui Peng from his role as Lei Wu Jie in Song of Youth. I've watched Wanru's Journey also, but I was not impressed with him there. This drama really surprised me. I never know he had it in him to perform multiple role like this

Finally done watching this. It is very good. I give it 10/10 for Fan Yue. Really love Ao Rui Peng acting in this.

In MM, honestly it is Fan Yue that hold me here. I am not really fond of Bai Shuo character, especially at the beginning. Sure she is better now, but still Fan Yue holds my attention. Really, who can ever think that Ao Rui Peng can look this good as demon character.

I also put The Blossoming Love into hold since I focus on MM right now. I kind of lost interest after knowing the strong and charming FL become weakly mess (through some short videos) and 2ML betray his friend (ML) to get the FL ..... It is a big nono for me. I hate it when a man betray his friend for a woman.

His appearance in this drama honestly surprised me. I never know he can looks very good as demon. Very different with his looks as Lei Wu Jie.

Watching this. Currently at episode 15. Story wise, very good until now. This drama brings you to see the depth of human depravity. But, I wish they can explore more why Fan Yue falls to Bai Shuo. I can understand why Bai Shuo attracted to Fan Yue and I can see the gradual change of Bai Shuo feeling, but I can not see the vice versa.

Ao Rui Peng acting is quite good in this one. I can certainly see the difference in aura between Mumu and Fan Yue during amnesia misshap. And I just realized here that he is very suitable for heavy make up, hahahaha.

This drama started quite well. However, the way FL acted after her marriage was not making sense. She was the mistress of Shen family, how can she was still trampled in her work place? Also, she did not acted as if she was married. They acted like 2 people live together instead of husband and wife

Horrible editing aside, I need to say that Zhang Ling He truly is gorgeous in this drama, especially in his demon garb. It is truly disappointing to see such a potential destroyed because of editing.

I really hope this ML can be casted in proper costume drama in the future. He has the looks and figure that is very fit for costume. And he can further grow his acting skill in more complex story telling.
