I am too, waiting for that moment. Tired of this woman. She needs to learn to think by herself and to judge something by herself. She also needs to open her eyes to the fault of her people. I think she still has this prejudice towards demon.

So far she just swallowed all her father, Hao Chen, and Ling Long preaching. Even though she had a little doubt about their words, that doubt was soon disappear and she was again doubting Si Feng.

Finally someone who agreed with me regarding Ashes of Love. That drama also suffers from filler episodes. I even thought that they put some filler in the middle of what should have been a full blown angst moment for Jin Mi after she killed Xu Feng and realized that she loved him.

One of the reason that L&R so far tops any similar themed drama (with similar number of episodes) is because of its pacing. There is no wasted episodes. When you have angst arc, it is never cut with some scene showing that the respective characters have a merry chit chat with some people about some other problem. Especially for the male lead of L&R, I can see that he keeps a great sadness inside. Throughout his conversation with other people and when he masquerading as MSX, there is this aura of melancholy surrounding him. He doesn't need to talk about his romance, doesn't need to always mopping about his failed romance, but you somehow just can sense it.

I haven't scrutinized the female lead since I admit that I skipped some of her scenes in episode 40+. I just saved myself the Hao Chen and her father preaching.

What the ...???? This guy is crazy.

The memory was weird. As far as I remember, Bai Lin gave the armor to the God of War at that scene. And the blue dress was given by Si Feng while in heaven. Seems Hao Chen intentionally changed certain things to make as if he was the good guy

The so called good guys is a bunch of prejudiced lot with no integrity. Coward, all of them.

Ended up marathon all 8 episodes. I was so angry for the whole time. I have been annoyed with Xuan Ji father since he was so coward in episode 21-23. Even he giving his blessing to Si Feng and Xuan Ji in episode 35? could not soften my stance. And now??? He blackmailed Xuan Ji is my last straw. I don't think I will even like him even after he realized his error. You just don't threaten your daughter that way. Shao Yang is a bunch of hypocrite with no integrity. Good sect?? Just a bunch of clown!

Cannot wait when all truth comes out and watch how Xuan Ji trying to earn Si Feng forgiveness. I hope the drama give a moment for Si Feng to vent for a while. In Ashes of Love, I hated it when nearly everyone blaming Xu Feng when he vented out his anger and sided with Jin Mi as if she could do that heinous thing and Xu Feng should just forgive her. Please, let that kind of thing not happening in L&R.

Ling Long PTSD started to get on my nerves, too. Hello girl Si Feng was the one that saved you back then. Now she acted like ungrateful woman. I know that she has such traumatic experience but ...... And Ming Yan!!! He has not learned his lesson back then when he doubted Si Feng and caused Si Feng to be tortured.

Seems her experience with Wu Tong was so traumatic for her that it clouded her judgment. Currently watching episode 42 and I am already so angry with the whole Shao Yang

This whole Xuan Ji mother addition just added on angst. I feel the drama just keeps on adding the reason why they cannot be together.

Really hope the drama can give us a satisfying answer ad explanation and not just forced feed us with certain facts.

If I only read the novel, I might think of it as boring (more or less similar with Ten Miles and Ashes of Love) since the love line is that simple. But with this adaption, the plain love line become this heart-wrenching. I need to applause whoever is the script writer!

If only The Legend could have this kind of superb script writer. That drama really a wasted potential. Great chemistry could not save that bad ending.

I am also very curious on how the drama will resolve this. In the novel, Si Feng is indeed a deity but not some kind of bird. And I am quite certain I have never read something about God of War being friends with any other deity or creature in heaven.

Also, I also confused why the drama insists on calling him some golden bird deity. It doesn't make sense that there are golden bird deity and there are golden bird demon (with similar wings!!!). If they make Si Feng a phoenix, then it might easier to explain .....

Umm, actually I think they will marry later than that, hahaha. If you remember the trailer, there are scenes when Xuan Ji waits on unconscious Si Feng for so long (I think at least 1 year since they show the season change). I bet this scenes happen after heaven arc. Or a prelude to heaven arc. Either way, Xuan Ji will need to wait more after their reunion to get married.

Agreed. Lots of addition and deviation from the novel actually make this drama heavier. The novel love line was quite simple. I didn't feel the ML suffers that much in the novel (well, more or less the same as Ye Hua in Ten Miles perhaps?!). But, in this drama? Wow ...

Si Feng is twelve feathered Golden Bird. It is the highest grade or the noblest of lineage in Golden Bird. It is a rare type and even having both parents of 12 feathers would not guarantee a descendant with 12 feathers. The Golden Bird with 12 feathers hold certain sway in Li Ze Palace. If that kind of golden bird was present, then the chief position would be his.

The other person with 12 feathers is Si Feng father. It is the reason why he can still become the chief even after he broke Li Ze Palace rule by falling in love and having a son. But, I don't know how this thing with 12 feather will played out in the drama. As far I can see from the trailer, only Si Feng having 12 feathers.

In the novel, Xuan Ji mother is alive. And both parents actually are very happy with Si Feng early on. Hao Chen as Bai Lin in disguise is drama only addition. Yes, there is a Hao Chen in the novel and he kind of liking Xuan Ji. But thats about it, no more.

Yes. The order is the same as the novel. In the novel, Li Ze Palace secret went out in Zan Hua tournament. Then, Si Feng and Xuan Ji separation. This followed by Xuan Ji finally chose to chase after Si Feng in Li Ze Palace. But at that time Si Feng already left. Xuan Ji then went on looking for Si Feng for nearly 2 years. After their reunion and love confession, last arc will be about heaven. The marriage will come after all of this.

However, the drama adds on a bit on plot about Si Feng masquerading as Mo Sha Xing. I think this addition plot will happen before Xuan Ji chase after Xi Feng for nearly 2 years. I also think the drama will have thicker plot in heaven arc than in the novel (based on the trailer that we have seen).

Oh, it is Di Lang? My memory rather unclear on this. Need to re-check the novel ....

Wow?? Really? With that kind of face and acting ability, I expect his company will invest on him more. Well, this drama could be his break point. He is so amazing here.

I am a sucker for male lead angst drama, which I honestly think only a few talented male actors could deliver such scene convincingly and beautifully. These kind of scenes, if handled wrongly could end up comical and make you cringe. L&R is so demanding on its male lead for it has lots of angst scene. Even Ten Miles and Ashes of Love don't have such heavy demand. So far Cheng Yi delivers with flying colors!! The other actor that I see could deliver angst scene very well is Zhu Yi Long.

I am curious where the drama will bring this story. The background of Hao Chen and Si Feng were very different than in the novel. I quite certain that the drama will make Si Feng a phoenix in heaven because it would be illogical if he was a simple bird deity. He was shown to be quite powerful. Also, I think almost no one in heaven know the face of the phoenix since no deity seemed to recognize him.
I hope the drama will explore on this later on.

Fake Xuan Ji father told Ming Yan to become undercover and as far as I remember he dangled a marriage prospect with Ling Long in order to make Ming Yan comply. There was no specific order for Ming Yan to do as spy. Then, he was blamed for their second brother death (the one whom Ming Yan cut the hand).
The demon in disguise was actually Wu Tong if I remember correctly. I think Wu Tong just jealous of him because of Ling Long and just wanted to ruin Ming Yan
