omg the angst! it's a little too much, like the characters must hate the writer when they are in "the shadow"…
I mean last ep dongjoo was great, but now suddenly she's back at the "I must leave you for your own benefit" but x2 because now she knows he'll get personally hurt?
nokdu did great though. he wants her to leave "for her own good", but he also can't let her go, and that was beautiful... but then he let her go when she said she's only worried he'll get hurt? like, that doesn't make sense...
and like, can they just talk it out! they basically want the same thing, the writer has got to stop making her a one woman assassin wanna be.. "I can't have people in my life for blah blah reason"..
AND, I mean, if he wants to make sure they don't catch her, he needs to go WITH her, and then TALK!
it's like nokdu is "aware" and he's trying hard to resist the writer's "forced" break up, but no one can win against evil writers...

it's like sure, NJ tortured hwi and his family, but sunho was born into that torment, he had to live with it 24/7, and he had to "live up" to his dad's expectations... he has more right on the "NJ revenge" scheme..

the song went like "I made it just the way you did, but it doesn't taste right anyway", and that broke my heart T_T his mom was like a stable harbor? she barely had any scenes but whenever he got back he'd talk with her about his day and that felt so warm, natural and relatable. I was still laughing over the fact that Mi Ran carried him home, but I was alarm when he stayed quite, then my heart literally broke when I realized what he was about to say..
