I've been reading your post on the characters and you should create a discussion! I mean we don't know how closely they'll follow the characters right...? But at least it give us a general idea of what each character will be.
I'm not keen on him reuniting with past female leads but I wouldn't be against it. I'd like to see him paired…
Oh trust me, I'm the same as well. Tan Song Yun is an exception for me because I just want to see them in a better script.
I do hope that in his future dramas they won't recycle his previous FL so often because a new pairing is always refreshing. If they have to pair him up again with someone I hope it's not anytime soon.
Giiiirl, I grew up watching Shu Qi!!! She's is such a badass I love her!
LYX don't always have the best luck in actresses. Not saying all of his previous costars are not great. But there's an endless lists of actresses that he still need to pair up with.
What is a genre that you really want to see him in?
For awhile I thought republican drama, but..... I realized I don't enjoy republican genre. They are always a hit or miss and 99% of the time it is a miss for me.
I don't understand why the FL dropped out of medical school. If she was such a bright student, why didn't she…
I think for her once she learn she inherited the gene too, she has lost hopes for her future. To my understanding she wanted to be a doctor, and continuing school to become a doctor would of been hopeless.
As for her making money, to give her mom a comfortable life when she's gone.
It look like they're finally selling the uncut version of the script. It will includes photos essay, interview and it also includes the last scene π they might as well just release the clip that everyone want to see, even if it's just couples of minutes with Wangso and Go Ha Jin/Hae soo.
Today is the finale for nonvip members, LIP has officially came to an end. Dr. Gu and Su Wei'an you have really left an imprint on so many audiences. Thank you for bringing the awareness of HD, and thank you for your nonstopped perseverance. Su Wei'an, I know there are so many brave patient like you in real life and it take a lot of courage to be you.
LYX and ZRN really embodies the character of Dr. Gu and Su Wei'an. They brought their character to life.
It took me a while to understand why would LYX describe LIP as a healing drama. After reflecting on the characters and the premise of the story I now understand that, that really is the only word to describe LIP.
Lol. I think I'm just not ready to fully watch AOL and feel all the angst. With all the scenes I have watched of Runyu I already feel so hurt for him. I can't imagine how much of a mess I'll be if I watch the whole drama.
So how did you became a LYX fan? What drama of his drew you in?
Just a little background about me, I have always watched chinese dramas and movies as a kid, dubbed in my native language though. I stopped watching chinese drama for over 10 years and it wasn't until this year in March when I met this total stranger at this conference that I was also attending. She and I connected talking about Thai lakorns. She recommended me to watch Love Between Fairy and Devil. That was the first chinese drama that I have pick up since.
Then another user on MDL recommended me some dramas of Bai Lu and LIS was one of the recommendations. The crazy thing is just a few days before I had started on AOL but I stopped because I couldn't get into it. I just so happened to stopped at the end of the scene where Runyu and Jinmi meet. I didn't even realize Yuan Shai was the same Runyu. Fast forward, I really fell in love with LYX in LIS and started to follow more of LYX works.
Chinese dramas or more like LYX has taken up a lot of my time and I haven't been able to watch/finish a Thai lakorn since discovering LYX. That is so rare because I am a die hard Thai lakorn fan.
Anyways Happy almost 13th Anniversary debuting! I hope our LYX will always be happy and successful in whatever he does.
P.S. I sincerely hope you'll find the love of your life. Someone who will take good care of you too, because whoever that woman is, is so lucky to have you. Also, mostly because you're too handsome to not pass on that youthful and good looking gene to your kid π π€
There are times I rewatched a drama and it either make me realized that, "yep i still love it 10/10" or "hmmm, why did I enjoy this in the first place"? It is definitely the latter for me in this case. Perhaps it was the amazing chemistry that made me sat through this drama in the first place or maybe it was because I was really intrigued by LYX.
Now that I rewatched LIS, I hate how they literally did a whole 360 on Du Lei character. Was it really necessary to make his character become so psychotic? I guess Du Lei character wasn't a completely nice guy but the writing of his character just didn't make sense at the end.
Also, I am always invested in 2nd couple but that was not the case in LIS. I remembered skipping their scenes and it still remain the same.
I sometime have to remind myself on what the plot is and where the story is going because I get too caught up in our lead romance. I am always for long drama because more screentime. But after the reveal of Jiang Jun father death, it became draggy.
I think if the chemistry between LYX and BL weren't so fire, this wouldn't of have been an enjoyable drama. Anyways, I still like LIS but I can never sit through watching the drama in it's entire duration again.

ZRN rarely get costume drama so I hope they will reunite for one.
