So obviously this is my first chinese drama in a very long time and booy do i feel cheated. I never realized voice dubbing was a thing for chinese drama. Here I'm thinking, daang the ML have a nice deep voice. Nonetheless, this drama was painfully long and aside from the FL voice it was a good drama. Although i definitely skipped a lot.

This drama definitely deserves a better rating than 8. The romance was so pure and gradual. It suck that so many of their romantic scenes was cut. Even without them you can see the love the leads have for one another throughout each episode. The ending though, was not satisfying enough. Even with the extended ending I wanted more. They robbed us so much. Don't let comments, the positive, the negative and the rating sway you away. People will love it and there will be people who hate it.

Just finished the translated novel and ummm. Don't come at me or hate me for saying this but the FL in the novel, to me is desperate.... I get it that she set her mind to something and is determined to see it through. However, in the novel her inner monologed/action/words just make her seem like she's desperate for the attention. I often cringe when I'm reading her interaction with the ML.

Don't get me wrong, I love an upfront FL who don't beat around the bushes and play push and pulled with the ML. How her character is written is unlikable to me. Anyways. I'm very excited to see how the drama will be.

Capsaisikii on Twitter has read the novel and did a thread of the novel and the drama comparison. The user has said the drama isn't doing a total adaptation of the novel but only bit and pieces that connect to the novel. Keep in mind the drama and novel will be different since it isn't exactly following the story.

I personally don't like the comedy. I can't figure out what it is about the comedy that make it hard for me to fully enjoy the drama. The storyline have potential and I was genuinely enjoying it. I just couldn't stand the comedy. I think if you're already watching it and doesn't have an issue with the comedy, then just watch it. Ignore people negative comments because people will always voice their opinions.

As someone who love both parts, there's a lot of filler episodes so I get it. It is hard to get through especially when the pacing in the beginning was good and then it went up and down from there. Don't let any rating sway you away or tempt you to finish a drama. If it's not attracting you, it's okay to drop it. I personally only re-watch my favorite part, I couldn't bring myself to re-watch every episodes.

I'm not sure about the bracelet but I saw a post on twitter, that said the fish will be significant.

I personally really like it. I was intrigued by the fast paced of episode 1. Is it worth watching? Well that depends on your taste. I personally don't like investing in drama that I find boring in the first 2 to 3 episodes. If you're slightly interested then I say yes keep watching.

I don't think it so much as jealousy. But moreso distrust and loyalty. We already know that ML doesn't trust anyone easily and so for him to trust FL already says a lot. Plus, FL can't recall the memories from that day so to the CP everything she has said is a suspicion. No one really know what happened.

Well said. It's interesting how most people tend to compare dramas and set high expectations just to disappoint themselves.

Exactly! They both found comfort and trust in each other. The CP couldn't trust anyone but with their situation it brought them together. If anything I like how both of their characters are developing and how the story is unraveling.

I agreed with you. The romance is nothing intense. If anything I see the CP admiration toward the FL, not so much of taking an interest of love in her yet.

I see. I guess I prefer when the plot is introduced right away and not drag with a cliffhanger. Which is why I was surprised with the pacing snd thr investigation. Also, yes the editing do feel off in some parts but then I have yet to watch a drama that have good editing.

I am genuinely curious, to those who says this drama is boring or draggy. In what way? I was intrigued at how fast everything happened in the first episode and how the story is developing in each episode.

It's good so far. Fast pace IMO. It really dives right into the plot. It is too early for romance, and i dont think we will see it anytime soon.

I expected more for Jang Gang (uk father) return. Just because everyone make it seem like Jang Gang was the answer to everything that's been happening. Then just for him to died like that. Like what's the point, he neither reveal anything but supposedly took responsibility for everything that had happened.

You're not alone. When I watched this while it air i often feel frustrated. I didn't think it needed 20 episodes since some of the episodes felt like filler. If anything, both parts could of easily fit into 20 eps. The rating definitely went up after part 2 ended and IMO, some fan probably created multiple acct to make the rating higher than part 2. Part 1 rating was a solid 9.0 for so long even after it finished.

Honesty, save yourself from this drama. The synopsis had so much potential but it is all wasted.

I finally gave in to my sister suggestion and finished this drama. How should I say this... it was such a good drama. Was it perfect? Definitely not.

Also, SPOILER ALERT:

The proposal was so sweet. This has got to be one of the most beautiful proposal I've seen thus yet. Nothing grand, nothing full with roses or music or dinner. Not that any of those thing aren't great, but the settings of the proposal both by the FL and ML felt so intimate in this one.
