Ah. How come you didn't like the novel? I feel like the novel was missing so many elements and it definitely had me wanting more of the plot. Considering that the novel was relatively short, and the drama will have 40 eps, I hope the script is good.

You have no arguement here and you know it. Since in your own words all of his other scenes were so boring too, how come the director just didn't cut them out too? I mean why not just edit his whole character out, since his scenes was soooo boring.

You stated yourself that DW fans didn't increase in TTEOTM because his scenes got cut. So what is there to explain? Deng Wei ability as an actor was clearly not displayed in TTEOTM. You do realized that Deng Wei love story and plot in Meet the Dragon was way more intriguing than the main lead right? If I'm not wrong it is literally his second drams and you expected what millions of followers?

Also, I am pretty positive that the novel reader will watch LYF regardless if YZ was cast as fl. Sorry to burst your little bubble but not everyone watch this for YZ.

Also, it's pretty clear that you only watch for "believable chemistry" and not the actor ability to act.

Don't get me wrong but no actors will simply get popular just because they act with a more well known actor in the industry. It is all about their own performance and their hard work put into their character. Since you mentioned LYX, I am pretty sure others will agree that he got more known and more popular for his portrayal of Runyu. Not simply because he acted alongside YZ. If LYX acting was not great no one would of care about Runyu.

Just like the other MLs in LYF, yes they get to act alongside YZ but to say she is carrying three less popular stars is an overstatement and a disrespect to her costars.

Your opinion is obviously yours and you will choose to believe what you want. However, don't make it seem like YZ is the only reason why her costars will only be famous after LYF due to her presence.

Yaaas I agree about his females. Its either their character is not written well or like you have said, not the strongest. Also, another thing I want to point out, I've seen people said LYX only do great kisses with BL but I beg to differ. LYX can only do so much if his fl doesn't reciprocate the kiss what can he do. So for sure BL has been his best partner so far.

Also, I am really hoping LYX and Tang Sonyun get a drama together. They were so cute in their movie.

Oh no, the Yunlu fans are going to say otherwise lol. I agree with you. I really like the chemistry between ZRN and LYX. The good thing about both of them is that they can easily generate chemistry with pretty much any of their costars.

I love, love melodramas so this will be a plus. But, whaaat. That rumor kind of make me sad. Only because I am someone who don't mind BE, but regardless of the ending I know I'll still enjoy it.

Aw thanks for sharing! Love is Panacea needs to come sooner. If they stick to the novel ending, I just love how LYX still described their relationship as healing and in a positive aspect versus the downfall of her illness. Aah, cannot wait!!

I really only watch LYX parts and honestly his character really left me in pieces. Rong Qi is definitely and will always be LYX most tragic character to me.

The majority of kdramas are 16 eps. The only time they are more than 16 is when their running time is 30 mins vs 1 hr plus.

I hate draggy plot too, but honestly with LYX I can watch more than 40 lol. Lets just hope that everything is good.

Both ZRN and LYX are such beautiful crier. Hopefully this drama pass the distribution license soon so hopefully then we can get some news/trailer/teaser/bts.

Thanks to @Gigi2023 i was introduced to LYX too through Bai Lu. I've started watching more cdrama due to those two.

As for Only For Love, the novel was hard for me and I honestly don't know how I would feel about the drama. I'll still watch it but we shall see.

I've heard that fans really want LYX and Bai Lu to do a republican era for their third drama. I am not a fan of republican era drama but for LYX I will watch it.
