Iam giving fair review regardless who's in it. I think you should know the concept that not every time your fav actors would do great in their dramas: when they do good we praise them. I watched few episodes on my choice of dramas (Hollywood, Bollywood, K-drama, c-drama, j-drama) pick and choose because it's in our fingertip. The interesting one I watch them finish, some I rewatch, and alot of them I abandon on the middle. Read Chinese novels too are pretty similar hypnosis so the drama are alike. Female 14-16yo, time travel, previous life colluded same circumstances to new life, innocent BaoBei fallen in love with Hero.

Form of Slavery: Forcing Ji Ying Ying & family into lifetime service (servant) because unpaid debts. Threaten people into free labor is what do we call it?
Form of Abuse: the killing of Ji's father ep 1. Ep7 Mdm Hua got beat up. Ji Ying will also go to jail and torture. Not to mention all verbal abuse and accusations.

Their acting is average, nothing memorable, what's wrong stating the fact? I am not going to bow and praise some actor/actress because they did great in their other dramas. You should do the same.

I agree with you on this. But repetitive plots/scenes are tiring, we need to progress from this without losing systematic issue of that time. Prolong whining, pitiful begging, jealousy amongst women has been expose in every c-drama so it's nothing new nothing interesting.

I only watch to ep 3 and love it. I love Liu Xue Yi, he's beautiful as well as talented.

I was disappointed in Gen Z & the Last Immortal. Their execution of story were bad but hopefully this time LuSi & LYN will bring out their hard-cord chemistry like in Long Ballad.
