It goes back to his humble sickly dying young man who hasn't explore his sexuality, since he has second chance to live healthy as FX he loves to explore more 'attraction & love'. FX is famous with his gorgeous look beside his remarkably intelligent, all single girls want to be with him. He loves Wan'Er, he stay married to her. Hai Tang doesn't sleep with him, they promise, commitment and love to one another but they came from different country which they're loyal to. Because political backlash, they can't be together (yeah, break my heart too) but there's an amazing surprise at the end though (maybe on S3?) wait and see..might not in the drama. I can't remember how many children he has....maybe 4-5???

In my opinion, Lin Wan'Er is the weakest character surround Fan Xian. I don't like her too much, I am more into Hai Tang Duo Duo....she's more Fan Xian's kind of girl. They're both having an affair according to the book and I think it will come out in the drama as well. Fan Xian is a ladies man, he loves beautiful women, I think he has few children from at least 3 different women. His grandmother gifted him a woman (his fav maid) and they had a boy together that Fan Xian so proud of, Wan'Er was so sad (feel like defeated) but she also have a baby girl after FX cure her TBC. Idk if this part will come out on drama though.

I like this kind of subtle romances. It's a great drama...the best of 2024 so far in my opinion.

I love this drama. So far this is the best drama in 2024. I've been disappointed with C-drama lately but this one is a great surprise. Love Liu Yu Ning here....his make-up made him older but handsome nonetheless.

My opinion is close to yours. I thought the same too and I got a lot of hate because of what I wrote. Seriously, I blame solely to her agent who doesn't do enough for her best interests. Previous MLs were unknown like Wang An Yu, Chen Zhe Yuan, Luo YiZhou, Xu Kai Cheng, Liu Yu Ning, Ding Yun Xi, Liu Te & became well known after their collaboration with LuSi. I felt like her agent uses her as a stepping stone to boast up those MLs, like she's the bread winner of that agent. I don't care whatever what those people say, obviously LuSi work the hardest to make it happen. The agent should line up great scripts and well known MLs ready for next project. Meanwhile she does appearance, interview, photo shoots, all good but all fans want more of her drama. With due time she'd choose one....might be flop or good one. This year she has only have 1 drama while we're almost mid year. The rumored ML for Solar Rain Today is Huang JunJie, that's my whole point, he is another unknown and a scandal. He was present in LuSi's appearance at Versace...so it might be true.

Those influences by the name 'fashion forward' might ruin her image or her character. Hopefully not. She should carry herself like those Koreans... beautifully dress without revealing too much, porcelain make up and no fake hair extension. She'll get much respect, love, & admiration.

Hey, those actors that I mentioned above are the example of her agent paired her with. It's definitely 'Promoting' because after their collaboration with LuSi, their names soar and get more projects. Some lesser known actors could create amazing drama with LuSi, I agree, but she should try to work more with known actors too. It might just be as successful as LLtG or WRtW. She can find the scrip that offer strength of character in both female/male leads. Actors that would good enough to share chemistry, central-stage that make story alive regardless female or male centrist. Example of casting, 2nd ML/FL sometimes has better collaboration than their main leads like ZLS/LYN or YZ/DW/TJC. Since she's a high traffic actresses, the bar is high and fans are expecting better and better from her. Question of her assign-male lead is just one of them. Her agent need to step up the game.

Sure, she can take more or less project as she wants. I am well aware of how many endorsement in her belt....the fashion choice that those icons says 'fashion forward', new image she wants to portray. Just saying 'Don't let them ruin her!' experimental fashion isn't way to go. Anyway, she's a beautiful young woman, I love her freshness, bubbly personality, lovely face & she seems to have a kind heart. Don't like to see her packed with make-up, bad hair extension because without all that we all can see her natural beauty (bright eyes, lovely smiles, great hair, flawless skin, white teeth). Adding with her kind personality.....she wins our heart.

I think your opinion is making sense. It's a business anyway, like LuSi promotes new actors more than herself. As international fan we didn't know Wang An Yu, Chen Zhe Yuan, Luo Yi Zhuo, Liu Yu Ning, Ding Yun Xi before Lu Si, so she proves her star-power. Her agent treated her like a stepping stone, to get those guys famous while she isn't get the option. Actresses lesser than LuSi get all the famous actors while LuSi ends up with someone like Huang Jun Jie (according to Zhao LuSi's fans FB) and I really hope it's a fake news.

I get what you mean by writing this because we've been noticing. Story of Pearl Girl was dragging, as well as this one, she has drama going far in between. Is she being selective or the agent screw her over? Her choice of dresses are either too short or too low cut top, heavy make up, hair extension showing, her make-up artist pump her into adult version of LuSi (she's 25yo) like she wants to change her image to more seductive instead of a fresh young lady.

Her agent seems to focus on promoting the unknown actors to stardom instead of rise her up. I hope that's a fake news. She's already proved herself (star-power) She deserves better....and more,

So far I haven't anything worth watching in 2024. This drama is an okey if I am nice. Those female actress on supporting roles are too whiny, entitled, pitiful, ignorance, don't like those kind of characters to any person.
