Iam excited about Zhao LuSi..but she isn't Chen Xiao Qian. I am on ep 4 and she cried a lot...she's the weakest character but I hope she'll better...

Yes..the ball match 'Sepak Takraw' (I don't think it's called it soccer) it's great scene. Dilraba wasn't giggly which is good. I saw this drama will have 50 episodes and I was like...'that's too long of drama"...I might have to drop it on the middle and move on with something else. See how engaging it's going to be...

NO!!!....Zhao LuSi is way too sweet to become a villain. Pick someone else..

There're many twists in the story. It freaked me out Zhang Bin Bin character married Daisy Dai character, I was like....oh come on..they're brother and sister in 10 miles of peach blossom and now they're husband and wife in this drama?? Yeah, this was reunion from 10 miles of peach blossom for the actors..kind of 'what the hell?' But the soundtract was awesome, Vic Chou was great - he's a bit older for Dilraba but his character was supposedly an old man like over 100 years old so he's appropriately cast. He's on feminine side of a hero, were 52 episodes long but had a great happy ending. so yeah...give it a try.

I agree, Jason Zhang sang an amazing song 'Ru Ge' and Dilraba with Mao BuYi in 'Yu Huo Cheng Shi' all the soundtracts are my favorite.

He was the lead actor in 'Overlord' with Bai Lu. It's pretty good although not my favorite.

Tang Fan didn't want Sui Zhuo to get married because his fiancee-to-be beat him up. They lived together because Tang Fan got kick out from his rented apartment and Tang Fan wanted to open chain restaurant because Sui Zhuo really a good cook when Sui Zhuo got booted out, Sui Zhuo loved to cook for all of them as therapy for his PTSD. All friendship and bonding didn't show any bromance to me...Wang Zhi liked Tang Fan better than Sui Zhuo although he's the youngest of the 3...I think Wang Zhi found Tang Fan hilarious (couldn't stop laughing seeing Tang Fan as Mdm Gao) as well as compatibility.

I think there's fashion statement during Ming Dynasty...a bit Korean style as much as Chinese styles in Korean costumes drama. Tang Fan worn tall black hat that more Korean style than Chinese...I won't worry so much.

Which female? Dong'er or Duo Erla? You'll like Duo Erla because she'd sacrificed herself and Tang Fan will be broken heart. Dong'er was a prodigy of a child, too smart for her own good, but very childish and innocent - at the end she made a mistake by trusting an enemy. I was disappointed in her....but she enriched the story line though. So...keep going it's worth to watch.

I think it's more friendship among 3 men. They bonded over works and loyalty to the Ming Emperor. 3 different characters that full of suspense, comedy, loyalty, sacrifice, and strong trust to each other. I love this drama more than anything...top of my list.

I recommended you to re watch this drama. Jacky Chan was the executive producer so there're plenty of elements - quirk from Jacky Chan's styles. Full rides of suspense, comedy, fighting martial art, friendship and respect between them, little romance as well as greed and power. I don't like Avenue X because I think she's biased to things that's not her style. Darren Chen was great, intelligent, funny that play his part with conviction. Fu Mengbo was a great cook, upright, honest and introvert. Wang Zhi was manipulative, intelligent, loyal and very broad minded. The three of them bonded over work and made an awesome team. I love every characters in the drama, that's including bad guys Lin Chao Dong, Li ZiLong. This drama is my one favorite, top of my re-watch list drama, a classic that won't get tire watching it.

Me too!! I bought DVD for my every best favorite dramas. In case I move to most remote place 'off the grid' to live...you know like cultivating in the top of mountain. Oh ya, I love 'lonely dream' Zhang Zhe Han song....touch my heart.

Rumor has it that Simon Gong with make drama with Rosy Zhao LuSi and I am delighted because I love them both. I don't think Simon will make another BL, WOH was his second so he said he has now option to pick from many offers. So happy for him.

Yes, he had a best part in Word of Honor, he shown different 'positive' character in this one. I saw him in Legend of FuYao...he was great but a sad 'pathetic' character. Hope he'll get more good character in his future drama just as good as Ye BaiYi. We all enjoy him so much.

According to the book; he'll travel, eat and drink a lot. Don't care about the world as he should be with his age. I also love Ye BaiYi, he's a perfect addition character to the story...I love he battered back and forth with Lao Wen, he didn't give a sh** to anyone...he'll said however he wanted it.
