Some people might not like your comment 'a little draggy' which myself concur. But we're fans discussing a drama, some fans took it like personal attack to them. 49 episodes are a lot, we are investing our time about 2,205 minutes (91 days) of our life. I was like 'oh...come on already'

What I don't get it on the 2nd ep ChangGe Dad's leaving the town as her mom forced her to get out of the house, when ChengGe came back home she imagined things happen and Li HeMin himself looked so troubled and shocked - didn't mean he's the mastermind especially he loved ChengGe and Her mother (his ex)...so things might not what it seems. Since early on, they gave us clues that undoubtedly good for discussion and speculation to lay it out here...some of us may have different perspective in understanding not-so-much episodes we've given so far. ChengGe said she couldn't trust anyone at all but she entrusted A Duo with the imperial stamp in which by gesture the boy was so naive couldn't be trusted with such important object. ChengGe said she wants to raise an Army to revenge Li HeMin for killing her parent but by what though beside tagging along with other powerful men that she could manipulate joining in and get her way up. After all that she lost the war... I doubt her but anyway, I appreciate your insight.

What's the rating has anything to do with us? Some like it and some don't. We're not in production team. It's a fantasy products of someone imagination, it's not my Hou Du or your ChangGe. The episodes are still long await and story may progress unpredictably, we are all guessing in this forum, maybe ChangeGe will prove me wrong - it will clear up all of our unanswered questions. The rating maybe change again when the episodes start to pick up...as always.

Yeah...am going for noodles and rice too. I'd do more if someone will put some wonton soup and char siu on the deal though.

Yes..I like LuSi better more as the episode progress. I've been skeptical with ChangGe but I hope she will prove me wrong....LeYan with Hou Du....yay!!

Don't take it personally. We all don't know each other, this is an open forum and people can write anything in our mind. Yes, they can also turn off the drama too but the production team wants our feedback good or bad so here they are. I see that fans are getting so fanatic about their favorites, they shouldn't because it's all fantasy the product of imagination. But of course, we are what we are...

I think we need to accept some people may like it and some don't. It same goes to you..you might not like the drama I like most. It both ways...critics aren't critics...those big agents or producers or directors or actors read all the criticism for learning purposes, to improve their skills for future projects. Some are good criticism and yes...some are just down right cruel. If Iam an ambitious and smart actor I want to know how to improve my acting skill by reading what people don't like about me.

Some of the war scenes were transferred to comic version. Yes, it spoiled the suspense of it. One minute Dilraba tried to argue seriously with a governor to counter attack the Bear devision and then..boom cartoon. Like wth? What happen? If you like it that way than you're watching good drama.

Well...so far so good but I won't give 10 or 9 to this drama. I love Hou Duo and LeYan developing relation but ChangGe...not so much. Not about hairstyle or mole in her eyes...I just think she's overly ambitious without the sources she need, depended on other people to achieve her goals. Iam also suspicion that her uncle might not killed her family. Iam afraid she made a mistakes hating and taking revenge on the wrong people. Give me spoil alert that prove me wrong..

Alen Fang...hope his character isnt being alienated since he started it bad with ChangGe. Idk, Iam still on ep 12. Anyone got problem with Viki? Can't watch Viki...I think they're crashing.

Word of Honor is my hard-dying favorite, BL story lines but amazingly awesome. The Long Ballad is great, Zhao LuSi and Li YaoNing is my favorite characters there. My Heroic Husband isn't bad although it isn't my favorite but yes...the competition is really high now. The older ones I love is 'the sleuth of Ming Dynasty', Bloody Romance, Under the Power, the Romance of Tiger and Rose. Maybe you watched them all but that's the memorable dramas that I can simply recommend it to anyone. Me too, I drop them a lot too. The Sword and brocade, Love and Redemption, the Wolf and (sorry darling Xiao Zhan) Duoluo Continent...shot...don't like them.

I don't have Youku so I am watching it at dobuku but there isn't any subtitle. I wait at YouTube for English, Viki is also coordinating with Youtube - only ep 24 (one ep every mon, tue, wed) so be patient, my friend. May 5'21 is going to be the last episode.

the more I watch it, believe me when I said I watch it maybe over 20 times, the more I love Wen KeXing. He's an amazing parent to ChengLing, great love to Zhao Xu, kind master to Gu Xiang. But don't mention Cao WeiNing's name or Ye BaiYi...he wasn't hiding his dislike to them. But he put up with them for the sake of the people he loves. Zhao Xu was the luckiest man...he's surrounded by people who love and respect him throughout his life so he's a bit spoil and arrogant.

Appreciated. In my opinion, we're given the freedom of expressing ourselves, good or bad, offensive or sugar coating...we need to treasure the freedom of speech. We all adults here (who came from different background, culture, countries, and we don't know each other - dramalist brought us together to share our love for dramas), who has our own mind to speak up and state opinions, including your post. Your post is good too as a remainder but at the end we all need to appreciate every kind of posts and comments...

OMG...I just realized Zhao Xu was a huger and romantic at heart. He kept giving Wen KeXing hugs, although WKX was a shameless flirt he's not the guy who'd give up his personal secret to even the man he's in loved with. I also just realized Wen KeXing wasn't just adore Ah Xu but he also worship Ah Xu's feet. In a way, he let Ah Xu walked all over him.....man that's sweet...where can I get a boyfriend like that??

Hey..yes. I don't know why I don't like so much of Li Qin, she has the skill and beauty. In Joy of Life (btw, the drama itself was amazing...still be awesome if she's not in it) she took the weakest and tuberculosis role as Lin Wan'Er although she's the love of Fan Xian's life, she'll dependent to Fan Xian than some other strong characters in the drama. Amongst great roles, she's picked the unattractive one, same went in the Wolf (Hello...Xiao Zhen!!). Her acting as a young innocent girl was so awful, obviously she faked it, I dropped it early. This one is no different....I hate that cliche evil sister...lol. Anyway, drop it...they have now a lot good dramas out there and am rooting for them...more interesting...more entertaining ...more enjoyable.

I don't like it too. I think Chengge is kind of naive, ambitious enough to joint/lead the army but she doesn't have the resources so she tried to tag along with whoever. No wonder she end up lost the war...she's not thinking wisely only for revenge. putting animation for 'war scene' might save them expenses but the outcome didn't as well received. So...I don't know shall I continue watching this?

Iam still on ep 8, Shuyu listened to his dad about helping Crown Prince that he believes he's a good guy. I think when someone was being threaten killing 9 generation of his family, he'd do anything to prevent it. It's called conflict of interest both Chengge and Shuyu...well I love Allen Fang so I am kind of biased here.
