Don't think weird at all...because I am crazy too. It supposedly the good actor is..good in their character so we can love it no matter what. Some of the drama, I love the bad guys too like Yan XiaoYi and Shen Zhong (Joy of Life) or Ma Lin and Li ZiLong (Sleuth of Ming Dynasty) or Gong Zi & Zing Feng (Bloody Romance) we love the intrigues...twisted mind.. the bad kicking ass that has a lot of tricks in their sleeves.

Hey...keep it light. What I thought about Xiao Zhan didn't matter because he wasn't 'the wolf'...it's ok Darren Wang got the lead role and I think he did a pretty darn good job too. Great thing I didn't watch the whole thing, it will such as waste. But thanks....I might not get the whole picture... but I don't regret it.. When you think Iam NOT qualify to rate the drama because I dropped it early - the drama that I lost interest in isn't worth my time. Like or dislike is like come and go...someone like you might like it so much...but someone like me might not be...as simple as that..good or bad drama keep in/out...we exchange friendly conversation in this forum is all matter. Keep it nice. FYI, if the role demanded it...XZ can transform himself into anything that's include menacing and beastly, jumping up and down, growl or dig dirt, he'll be a cute wolf.

Ashli Sun mistake was keeping her with him. She took her own action, that's true, not about considering Sun's feeling...but she's more blind to the consequences of her actions. Understood she's only 15 and been spoil princessy life...she'll learn the hardest way to really grasp her choices. She's dang impulsive because she didn't think deeper to get where wants it to be - other people has to take in her aftermath decisions...ah...this is the kind of main-lead love to hate kind of drama.

LeYan cried her eyes out...her sadness was real! And Hou Du has the most compassionate eyes directed to her...what a couple...they deserve each other.

YES!! You nailed it! She overestimate herself. I skipped her stupid parts, I watch this drama for Ashli Sun, LeYan, Hou Du, Wei ShuYu.

I guess all true but how annoying was that? And I am not as tolerant as Ashli Sun. Lol. LeYan is progressing to discover her strength and identity....her kindness, innocent, timidness hasn't changed even in the slum and difficulties. So, I am rooting for LeYan.

Ep 23-24...ChangGe didn't do better and I want to slap her. Don't you think she's enough making a mess? Dang, now I have to wait for ep 25 in 4 days! Any spoiler? I want LeYan & Hou Du.

According to the episode I watched, she 'presumed' her family killed by her beloved uncle and master. Your explanation is proving my points. But hey this is only fantasy...imagination that I won't get into back-forth barbs. Thanks though....keep it light...it's only drama supposedly an entertainment for all of us.

I felt like I want to slap sense on her. At first, she wanted dethrone Li HeMing...then went in save him with an arrow. I don't connect with ChengGe, she's irrational - naive - stubborn - empty bravado. She didn't empress me...I am on ep 20 and she hasn't get better.

LeYan missing is good for strengthen her character, as a good and wise princess should, to know her people. She met good and bad people..she'll be much stronger and wiser...yay LeYan.

LOL you're pickier than me!! I love Bloody Romance, very violent and FL kind of flip flopping but I love the 2 man leads (Shaw Qu & Wang Duo) they have the most 'best' saddest expression, desperation, hopelessness, and loneliness. I dropped Brocade because 4 wives (plus mother-inlaw, sister, step mom) was inserting their authorities thru charms/deviousness/back stabbing - don't like that. ROTR was hilarious, I love it Zhao LuSi. Seven Tan and Allen Ren was cute together although the drama was dragging. Long Ballad, I love the dynamic of second FL & ML. The 3 ML were awesome, Zhao LuSi was different in this drama.I don't like typicals, something different brought in that interesting I want to invest my time to watch it. Word of Honor is BL story, I don't like Untamed, but WOH makes me in love with both of ML. I can't recommend you anything because you know what you like or dislike...what do you recommend for me?

Thanks again. In Hollywood here, once done promoting box-office movies, the stars back to themselves regardless how cute was Chris Pine, Sam Claflin, Chris Hemsworth, Zac Afron in certain movies . It's kind of different standard of men beauty in China and US. Li YiFeng is a gorgeous man and I don't see him endorsing cosmetic product (although saw him carrying a shoulder cross purse). I don't understand their fashion statement, I swear it didn't look good on them. If the market focus are all for females, let the actresses do their parts. ZZH has been around over 10 years - only recently he had the breakthrough role that hit him (& GJ) sky rocket, sure he's using the image of ZZS to endorse relate products. It's their honeymoon-time period, they enjoy the process and the benefits. Been there...done that..now move on. No? Yes? No?...its ok.

Mee too!! Zhao LuSi recently said LeYan and Hou Du is going to have happy ending. Curiosity is fullfilled but more question than ever; how? Don't want to end like the Romance of Tiger and Rose kind...you know Hou Shu died but they met again in modern times. I want them to have their real happy ending; grow old together, big mansion and noisy children. Retired Hou Du would do anything for his wife, sweep her dainty feet, looking at her with his most tender glance and proud smile. You know...that kind of s**t. LOL.

Nada. Good drama is hard to find. Shaw Qu has a good movie with Chen Kun in Netflix Yin Yang Master, have you watch it, it's only 93 min. Mark Chao and Deng Lun with the same title (different version). I dropped a lot of drama...beside Word of Honor I watch Long Ballad. Hmm...Stormy eyes, Rattan, My room mate is detective...good luck!

Thank you for the clarification. I watched the episode like everyone else and get the same grasp. She knew she got nothing to command the Army, she found a way to get into, her intelligent and survival skills kicked in and got her to lead the war. She depended on Ah Duo as much as him because he was a homeless kid and tag her along as his 'sifu' - the kid saw her struggle beginning and as a companion to walk along her ambition - of course he's the only choice to guard the imperial stamp. Fortunately, he's much rescued instead of using his brain, as he wanted to greet ChengGe, he was stopped by Ashil Sun and kept gesturing nervously where the stamp was. To me, although ChengGe a highly smart girl, her previous royalty life didn't teach her the real life out about with nothing at all. Her wisdom was limited so she's naive, her bravado bravery empty, and focusing to revenge instead of tactic. She's dang lucky to have met Ashil Sun who admire and love her, who would do anything for her, if she didn't have a man like Ashil Sun (& LeYan) she'll be doom on early dismissal. I want to see more of ChengGe transform into the girl worthy as we both discuss it here...as the story progress...the change is possible..and I might have different opinion about her.
