Did not watch Go Ahead, do not like that type of drama. Also dropped BARP and LYX, could not watch that FL. I…
I like the name 'champion droppers'...why not? Our criticism is for their next project quality improvements...I felt like those producers make us dumber by creating idiocy...good drama is hard to come by. Sigh...
Hi...I didn't drop it because I was curious with Song Wei Long. I watched 'Go A head' first before this drama so I wanted to know how was his previous drama. I am too, not fond of FL, not any of her dramas (Legend of YunXi or the Bloom at Ruxi Pavillion). I think in every dramas she was in, she has some kind of pinkish/reddish under eye make up like it's her trade mark - don't know what significant of it? To me her make up was like a sick person, you know if you watch Chinese ghost story, those ghosts has darken make up under their eyes with white pale face? Lol....anyway I like FL to have maturity - confident - has sense of humor that embody their roles wholeheartedly. We're tough audience....sharp tongue critiques that those directors/producers has to watch out for. I don't know any teenagers that I can recommend this drama...lol. But I have a co-worker that's a sucker with all sweet lovey fluffy as long as translate to her native language...she might like this one.
That's my opinion too about FL...I would rather talk about other characters than her. I think half of high rating…
You have your own criteria to rate a drama, so does everyone else. Mine is I should like all character - good or bad guys, supporting actors that enrich MLs characters and the story. In the case Long Ballad, the supporting actors did tremendous job, way better than FL. Their characters and love story has spice to it that we can't get enough of. To me the high ranking they earn isn't all for Dilraba and Leo Wu, most of the rating goes to YuNing and LuSi...and I want them to be recognized too.
There're many twists in the story. It freaked me out Zhang Bin Bin character married Daisy Dai character, I was…
As I wrote above...I don't blame any actors...they got pay in whatever they act [under their contracts). I think it's all about budged, since they came from the same production, they only use actors under their umbrella (probably not Vic Chao) but the audience spoke out with their rating and comments. Too bad, big budged drama didn't pay off....lesson and learn for Jaywalks.
Also skipped most of the FL scenes, very bland and boring character/acting. All other characters were good but…
That's my opinion too about FL...I would rather talk about other characters than her. I think half of high rating belongs to Hou Du and Le Yan because half of the fans love this character than FL/ML...Leo Wu isn't bad...he's amazing but his love interest dragged him too. We seems to have same mind so far...thanks.
I have watched even more worst of the worst than this one. It's not the best but not bad...Dilraba acting isn't improve so far....she didn't transform herself into any character she was to play. Vic Chao is great, his character a bit feminine but his love and regret last as long as his age. The rest was kind of blurry...the story line was like...ah why and what??? It could be better...but for sure I love the soundtracks...
There're many twists in the story. It freaked me out Zhang Bin Bin character married Daisy Dai character, I was…
I got that...the actors were under contracts..may as well put them to work (Lol...my personal comment) but Jaywalks should have maneuver characters in more creative way than just married them off...it's a gambling that didn't pay off. I am commenting the same thing to My Heroic Husband drama too....the creative director should have better understanding how to collude character in to more subjective twists. Marrying brother/sister character to different drama is a lazy way to make a squeal.
My review In ep 39, I noticed changga is a very smart girl which I advocate for in women, she can sit a 3 representative…
But you have to knowledge too that she made a lot of mistakes that cost life. Ah Sun is guy from Grassland, he said man from Grassland only love one woman forever, and how he put up with ChangGe with her stubbornness, miscalculation, wrong moves, and hatred for nothing. So even she learn from it...I don't think she should be sitting there representing and negotiation for something she repetitively made bad decisions, with the intelligent and privilege she's born with she's not very well resourceful. People kept reminded me that she's a young 15 years old princess...but if you're taking incharge with something huge..15 years old is irrelevant. I don't have a good vibes about her...
I feel, Leyan's leaving the luxury of life since coming home. she wears simple clothes, appreciates the things…
Yes...and I love her more and more because of that. At the beginning, I've already felt sorry for Hou Du, she wrapped her little finger to him with such a little cry and looked at him with shy determination. A lot of time Hou Du has to restrained himself and agreeing with her, how many times he hug her in just a few episodes. I was thinking 'this man is going to fall over on her little dainty feet.' I invested my hope on them...I am like a proud sister-in-law. I love to see how Minister Du smiled lovingly to the couple when they kowtowed on the wedding.....awww....Best couple ever.
In history he also refused to marry his daughter off to the grasslands for political gain.
Oh wow...thank you for the info. I don't know where you can find the historical background but that's great for people who don't have any basic Chinese history like me.
Ep 35 is an epic...Zhou Ye will have bright future a head of her. Gong Jun was beyond remarkable....this drama is coming to end tomorrow and my longing for new episiode is no more...ah Lao Wen...Ah Xu things aren't going well with me! Iam going to miss them...best wishes for all of them for future endeavor..
OMG...Hou Du and Le Yan were married!!! Iam so happy for them... the ceremony was pretty simple for a royal wedding, I love Li ShiMin gave the blessing for both of them. I mean Li Yan was actually married down but his only concern happiness for his daughter...that's amazing. Iam so over the moon right now, felt like Iam the groom's mother.
It's because the episode count was originally supposed to be 45 episodes, and it got cut down because of funding…
Yes..thank you. I know this is a low budged production and they didn't expect this drama blown away by the popularity. It would be better, say, they squeeze into 40 episodes instead...but hey...we get what we got. Still loving it....
they edited also the nails removal scene by cutting the key moment of his scream while removing it I'm with you…
Isn't that right? I was like investing my anticipation into this last 6-7 episodes because we all know that's going to be huge revelation then...arg...is that all? But I would still give credits though to Gong Jun and Zhang Zhe Han..they still presented it with their heart out - in the characters.
I just realised that there are no catty/bit*hy females at all in this drama. And I'm so happy they maintained…
I felt bad for Hou Du when LeYan confess her love to ShuYu....Hou Du only smiled bitterly. It's also kind of cute ShuYu didn't know how to respond it...we all know he treated LeYan like a sister but his feeling to ChengGe was different. 5 main characters has amazing dignity and self control unlike other C-Drama that was over exposing back stabbing, bitching, gossips within the maids, greed, jealousy characters. You're right to the point, I am more appreciate this drama than others that's typical.
I am kind of disappointed, with supposedly an epic battle and scenes on ep 31-33 it went flat. There wasn't a hurrah moment - no emotional spike for Wen KeXing exposing his identity and his parent. It's still good but missing important components - like the director rushed into the end - or the editors edited key points. I am hoping next episodes will not be rush...as Gu Xiang and Cao WeiNing dramatic end and more critical scenes for all the characters (and actors). But I still think this drama is the best...
Ah Sun
Wei ShuYu
Li ShiMin
That'll be all...
