Lol. Yeah along the way it turned more comedic than impactful. But I guess that's what they're trying so hard to show with the whole story, how personal grudges can tear even the most bonded friends, and how royal politics can tear family apart. At this point, IT IS a family soap opera.

It is connected, part of the world. But you don't necessarily have to watch if you don't want to. From what I know Blood River is a prequel. I also haven't watched Blood of Youth or Dashing Youth so it's not compulsory.

The red on GJ is an outfit i didn't know i needed to see. Wushuang city didn't know what hit them when he arrived, they should've closed all their gateways five hours ago before he even got the token. I don't pity them though, they really aren't worthy of Su Muyu's sword... or should i say, the Young Master of No-Sword City, Zhou Ye'an!

When they first introduced her she seemed so sensible, talking about duties and all that, but later... 💀We all understood she knew nothing of duty and was a pampared naive princess. Still love her though, a development for a character such as Xiyang's isn't easy, but they definitely pulled it off really well.
