Are y'all tired yet? You complain about villainizing JY and yet you get on here harping on how Pio is the villain…
Now point to even one of the comments i made where i said pi-o is the villain... "Yes, BOTH of them are VICTIMS and my heart aches for both of them, But one can be a victim and a perpetrator at the same time that's the case for Pi-o, Atleast according to me it is."
Pi O also prevented Jeong Yo from getting expelled ...what ulterior motive did he have their?? It was even before…
I respect your opinion if that's the impression you got. My opinion still remains the same tho. It was his guilt that made him help JY from getting expelled, I might be lacking some braincells in your opinion but yes that's what I got from first few eps of watching pi-o's character.
And also if Pi O didn't have helped Jeong Yo that day and the show got cancelled , everyone would have blamed…
And how does that relate to any of the points I made earlier? "his intentions may have changed to just purely helping JY by the end of their 4 hands performance but that's not how it started"
Pi O also prevented Jeong Yo from getting expelled ...what ulterior motive did he have their?? It was even before…
Yes I'm being fr. I'm only expressing the impression I got from Pi-o at the time, He wasn't someone who will help someone just becuz. that's how his character was presented as. (Referring to when he rejected Jae-in's proposal to help her)
Pi O also prevented Jeong Yo from getting expelled ...what ulterior motive did he have their?? It was even before…
To me it was probably the guilt of looking the other way when the bullies trashed the convenience store where JY worked. He just wanted to escape the guilt.
" But Pi-o helped JY a lot and helped him get over his stage fright" - Yes he did, but he had an ulterior motive tho he wanted the senior pianist to teach him and he also wanted his grandfather's approval and he knew he couldn't do that by himself and needed JY for that , Yes, his intentions may have changed to just purely helping JY by the end of their 4 hands performance but that's not how it started. Meanwhile, All the times JY helped him he never wanted anything in return and never had any ulterior motive behind any of his act of service. He didn't even want to be a part of that competition but Pi-o's inferiority complex pushed him towards it and that ultimately ruined his life. Yes, BOTH of them are VICTIMS and my heart aches for both of them, But one can be a victim and a perpetrator at the same time that's the case for Pi-o, Atleast according to me it is.
"Bio never harmed Choi Jeong" - Hello??? Are we forgetting the scene at the lake before the competition, when JY was trying to save Pi-o from drowning himself and tried to make him understand that the competition wasn't more important than pi-o's wellbeing. And pi-o in return literally swung a freaking big ahh rock at his skull (even tho JY dodged it but nonetheless Pi-o's intentions were clear) and proceeded to turn around and told JY that all of that of JY's fault, when JY didn't even want to take part in the competition. Yes, you can argue that pi-o wasn't in his right mind during that time but still that doesn't change his actions. And there are so many other scenes where pi-o kept pushing his inferiority complex on JY, when all JY did was be a literal gift of a friend to pi-o. Yes, Pi-o was suffering (so was JY) but that still doesn't give him a leeway to treat JY like that. "Choi is taking revenge on him without knowing the truth" - What do you want him to do?? Pi-o literally confessed to him about being the one who ordered JY's kidnapping and killing. "Bi O is kind and good hearted" - So was JY, and im going as far as saying JY was literally a blessing of a friend to Pi-o. Even though at many points in this drama i wished JY also had a friend like himself , JY deserved a better friend. And Pi-o's inferiority complex did play a role to push JY in the situation he's currently in. I'm so sick and tired of people villainizing JY just becuz the story is told from Pi-o's POV.
Why do you try to link Choi Jeong’s shattered life and the childhood death of his mother to Bi O? In any case,…

Maybe consider yourself in JY's place and think if you'll have "a single shred of empathy" for the person…
You literally just contradicted your own statement about how you'll feel empathy for the person who tried to kill you. But ig JY's suffering isn't enough to empathize with for you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maybe consider yourself in JY's place and think if you'll have "a single shred of empathy" for the person…
"Empathy isn't driven by pure logic, or calculated justifications, it's an instinct, when you see someone suffering right in front of you" - Not when that person tried to kill you and completely wiped you off from their life, given the context of the interview pi-o gave where he was asked if he was close to JY and he completely estranged him. "feeling completely okay with it points to a serious emotional disconnect, especially when that person was your close friend" - Well yeah, feeling completely emotionally disconnected is very normal if we consider JY's standing. "I just personally can no longer stand his character or find any emotional connection with him" -For me, it's actually the opposite. I can empathize with JY's character more and more as the story is progressing. "Even in that exact scenario, yes, believe I would still hold onto a shred of empathy" - Well then, you're probably superior to like more than half of human population in terms of EQ.
Im sorry but I've lost all sympathy for Jeong yo, while he definitely went through a lot, it doesn't justify how…
Maybe consider yourself in JY's place and think if you'll have "a single shred of empathy" for the person who literally tried to kill you and you still somehow survived but can't play piano, the only thing that still had your passed mother's essence to it, for the rest of your life. (ik it's a misunderstanding on JY's part but still that's the context of the situation in JY's mind). And don't forget when JY said something along the lines of take music away from a musician and he'll feel like he's in hell. So, yes both of them are victims but let's not go as far as saying JY's actions are not justified (given the situation that he thought happened). Cuz we all would do the same if not worse, atleast I would :)
holy SHIT a fellow nctzen hating and calling good reviews glaze, goodbye. The series was genuinely enjoyable, and…
"there was genuinely no NEED for the pure hatred in this review" If you consider my honest review about this series as "hatred" then so be it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "You could've genuinely just finished the show, thought to yourself: "Wow this is shit, I wish I never watched this." and went about your day, but you felt the need to go out of your way to comment this entire review." Well, isn't that the whole point of MDL lmao. Watching shows and leaving reviews. Also you could've went about your day but you also felt the need to reply to me so ig that makes the two of us. Wether you consider my honest review about this series as "hatred" isn't a problem of mine, everyone on this site comes to leave their thoughts about the show and so did I. Also I've got nothing against the actors matter of fact I love every single of them nor have I ever left a review about any show But this series ragebaited me so bad I needed to leave one. Maybe I felt more disappointed about this series being hot mess because I was genuinely waiting the whole year for this drop and it ended up being half-assed. TayNew deserve better than this mess. ¯\_ʘ‿ʘ_/¯
