I have so much more respect for Li Dai than Qin Shi…the firm treated her horribly and she still stayed and finally left with whatever shred of dignity had left. Qin Shi is so prideful when it comes to everything else but with her job, she was willing to be a doormat. I have much respect for Li Dai for sticking to her principles and leaving when she did. Kudos to her! She’s the real hero.

Don’t bother finishing it. Such a disappointing drama and waste of time. I’m a fan of the leads so I forced myself to finish it since I was already halfway done when I took a break from it. Time I can never get back 😑
They have lot of time to make a good ending… yet they just give this.. hmmm it could be better ending.. satisfying…
Too much time wasted on draggy nonsense middle episodes. They couldn’t even manage to give us trial scenes for the 7 month sexual harassment case 😑😑 Too many loose ends. Wu Fei and Jinhui just stopped talking and that was the end of it? The leads just ended back together without a proper reconciliation?? 🤷🏻♀️

It doesn’t get much better. I managed to finish it since I was already halfway through and I’m a fan of the leads but the storyline was just mediocre. I felt it started off good and had potential but the middle was a snoozer and the last few episodes felt rushed.
I actually didn’t finish the first season because I was annoyed that FL was meant to be this badass but instead…
Obviously I’m not expecting her to go back to assassinating mages as she was manipulated to do in part 1. What I’m saying is with the exception of the very beginning, she has been near powerless so before this drama ends, I’d like to see her regain it. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

He was killed by his beloved, who he presumes is dead but has a glimmer of hope that she may not be. He lost his good childhood friends. One who probably blames him for concealing Modeok’s entity which lead to what transpired at the wedding. His other friend left back to his home and didn’t return until 3 years later.
He should be dead but isn’t because of the ice stone so people are afraid of him and avoid him. He now relies heavily on alcohol in the evenings to get through the night.
How can he not change after everything he’s been through?? This doesn’t make the storyline weak.
