I’m one who gets emotional and cries easily when watching sad scenes but I didn’t feel anything when the sects were massacred. I just couldn’t connect with it 🤷🏻‍♀️
I’d like to give The Untamed another another try some day.
Same with Goblin…a very popular drama that I dropped too. I’m pretty sure I was halfway through it already.

This was a great episode. We got to understand DFQC more. He was always domineering and in this episode, we got to see the vulnerable side of him.

This has become one of my top Chinese dramas too. Not just Xianxia 🤗
There are only a few things I would have liked to see more of even though it didn’t affect my enjoyment watching it. I would have liked to see a more epic battle scene between the fairy and moon tribe and towards the end it would have been nice to see DFQC use the glazed fire. He was so badass in episode 9 when he rescued Orchid and we got to see how powerful hellfire was.
Nonetheless, I still love this drama 🤗

I heard really great things about the Untamed too and I’ve tried watching it but dropped it about 3 times. I think I’m at episode 17 and was told I need to keep watching because it gets really good. I’ll continue watching it some day but for now, I have it on hold.

I love episode 35, you can just feel how deep their longing and passion is for each other ❤️😭
This drama has one of the best OST and musical score. Both are timed perfectly at the right scenes which add to the dramatic effect.

I love it too. I don’t think I ff any scenes even though I didn’t care much for the father and his twins. Not sure if you are there yet but I don’t want to spoil it for you 😉
There are complaints about the ending being too short and abrupt but I like to think of the ending as the the last 2 episodes and not the very last scene like some people. I think the story wrapped up nicely with no loose ends but of course, we viewers always want more especially if it’s a drama we love. It’s hard to say goodbye to these beloved characters.

Watching the bts videos, Dylan’s personality is the complete opposite of DFQC but he played the part so well and it was convincing. Also, thanks to the voice actor because his real voice would not work for this role at all.

I feel that even without the second couple that no one likes, this drama would still be average but that’s okay. I don’t need to watch excellent dramas all the time. Average dramas are enjoyable too lol

I think I would have enjoyed this drama more more if it was a movie instead of a 16 episode drama. I get that they are in a loop but the first half was too repetitive. I did enjoy the second half where we got to know the backstory of some of the passengers on the bus.

I think for those of us who watched it as it aired, it was a different viewing experience. This drama aired at the same time some really big, highly anticipated dramas aired. There wasn’t much promotion for this drama and a lot of people stumbled upon it while waiting for episodes of the drama they were watching to air. They had no expectations whatsoever with this drama and to their surprise, it exceeded their expectations.

That’s where the hype came from…it was a dark horse drama and wasn’t expected to do as well as it did considering it was released at the same time as other highly anticipated dramas.

Also, liking a drama or not is highly subjective too.

MR was too juvenile for me so I dropped it. In this drama, we got to see Dylan play a character that was domineering and stoic yet vulnerable and weak too. We got to see his acting abilities and his potential to be a really great actor. I watched some bts videos and he really got into character…there was a scene they filmed and after the director already said cut, he couldn’t break out of it. It was emotional for him 🥹

Everyone has their own genre preference so this may not be for you even though many people enjoyed it. By episode 19, if you don’t like it yet then you should drop it.

8 is way too generous. I haven’t finished since I’m waiting for subbed episodes but even without the second couple this is a 7 at best through episode 27. Perhaps I may change my mind and give it 7.5 depending on the ending. However, first half of the drama FL chases ML shamelessly with no regard for her dignity and self respect in the name of revenge to get back at him for standing her up. The best revenge is to move on and live your best life. She is an adult now and a successful vlogger so I find it immature to seek revenge the way she did.

IMO, the plot just isn’t strong enough. FL chases ML, ML leaves without saying goodbye then returns and chases FL just isn’t a strong enough plot even with their character growth.

It’s a fluffy, slow build up romance that’s an easy watch. Esther is cute and enjoyable to watch and I’m enjoying BibBin doing the chasing in the kater half of the drama.
