His original plan was to marry the princess from Youzhou but he confesses to BFX and said she would be the Empress and the only one he would marry. Makes me wonder if he found out her true identity.

Episodes 23 and 24 were the best episodes for this week. Had good development between the leads and also the plot…
I think HFX dismissing his maid shows how serious he is about BFX and how much she means to him. But more importantly, if he is going to rule the world some day, he wants loyal people by his side who will not undermine him. I think dismissing her sends a clear message to his subordinates and it was the right thing to do. Right, but harsh.
