It took 7eps for Jane to voice out what i've been thinking all along, Alin knows Kate for long enough to get engaged and had Kate not cheated she would still be with her and Jane wouldnt have a chance at all.
This all happened in a month, it saddens me a little how Alin is only with Jane because everything fell apart for her in NY

First episode in and already logic has flown out the window (the car accident, the minor injuries, the obvious things that needed to be discussed but somehow aren't, etc.). Tsk. I was hoping for something better than Only You but alas, this will be a drag to watch but I'm still doing it because of the pairing (their chemistry is insane). Also, I wince everytime I see their nails! Mother of God. It's such a simple thing to consider yet yes, go ahead and splurge your budget on these venues and clothes and carefully set up those esthetically pleasing shots while your actors move stiffly because the direction is weak but God forbid you pay attention to the small but significant details such as LESBIAN NAILS! That's not even mentioning the effing STORY and SCRIPT! If you're already let down by the first episode, please go ahead and watch Love Design. It truly does deserve so much more praise and exposure (it's available for free on WeTV). I'm also looking forward to watching Queendom and Clairbell after this one. Ugh, this is such a waste of another pairing with freaking amazing chemistry. 🥲

Edit: The ending made it worth it. 🥲 As rough as it was to watch, Lena and Miu hard carried the whole thing and it paid off in the end (I just had to let go of the other things in the story/script and just concentrate on the couple finally getting their shit together).

Why do most Thai GLs make their main actresses wear skippy clothes and heels? Even when the role they’re playing requires different types of outfits. Lina and Jane wore heels for most of this show.

I kinda agree with you. In this case, Moeun probably had to die either way, so I guess they went with the dramatic (but predictable) route of her "sacrificing" herself in the end. However, I would have preferred if she went to court calmly saying she didn't regret her actions or that the victims got what they deserved, before getting the death sentence. Imo, that would have actually been more memorable and more fitting for her character.

On the other hand, if the other drama you're referring to is As You Stood By, I think the way the leads served prison sentences then started afresh was fine.

yeah this reminds me of the drama "the one and only" its about 3 terminally ill women deciding to kill a piece of shit man that is abusing his wife and daughter. in the end is turns out that they didnt give him the death blow, so the technically didnt kill him. it was the abused wife who confesses and then serves time. i felt really cowardly that the didnt let our leading ladies be the one to actually kill him, and then on top of that had the actual culprit (who was absolutely justified in killing him) not get away with it, when she 100% couldve.

I liked the drama but I don't agree with her. In fact it's the second drama in a row where females who plan to or commit murder for very understandable reasons and BECAUSE so called justice is particularly not served by judges and laws, in the end automatically have to repent, have to die due to the script and writing which does not dare to leave a story with someone who committed a revenge crime and is fully aware and stands her ground not repenting having done so. I don't want to see the ever same automatic and almost forced moral message that has something patronising for the audience, maybe out of fear someone would commit a crime in reality saying the 'saw it on TV'. If you want to bring such topics in a drama, dare to let the outcome be uncomfortable, not always the same repent, regret and pay a price -story.

Still a top tier production but like in many other 8 episode series this too would have benefited from having only one couple. I don’t like it when too much is crammed into a show with an already short runtime. Not every show needs to have side couples, especially if there is a limited amount of minutes to tell the story.

I can't get rid of feeling how much Kae reminds me on Aokbab from Love design 😂

this episode man… they should win all the awards based off this singular episode alone cuz it is just THAT GOOD BRO. like you’re telling me mable and pangjie aren’t seasoned actors??? cuz my word they had me feeling ALL the emotions… the directors and all the crew literally made this just SO beautiful. this episode and this show will definitely stick with me😓✊

My God, everything about this show is a 10/10. I think this is the best GL made so far. It handles, serious issues very well, and has so much drama and entertainment that it keeps me hooked! Episode 6 was such a dark episode but the team and actresses really outdid themselves. Amazing work!

Lots do stupid things as kids, it's weird to me that they go after them like this as adults when they have probably changed their ways (not all I am sure but many I am sure have).

It reads like a horror story. I can’t imagine going through that hell. No wonder there’s so many suicides among students.
