Absolutely! If she feels happy, we are all happy. All the love of this world for Ha Ji-won, I have always written here on MDL, she is my first crush in the drama world and will always remain special. š Every now and then a drama, a movie, and that's fine! See You soon, Queen (Empress!) šŗ
I watched the first 30 mins of this and wow it seems boring and hollow. I'll have to skip it.
for.me start great, but first they drag out hidden identity thing, like how blind others can be, she pulls Clark Kent with wig 𤣠and then dragged her rejecting him for no reason
This drama hits close to home because I feel like as a girl, we all went through some kind of Ā“youāre my everythingā kind of friendship in our lives⦠to the point where we could see ourselves grow old and live together or is it just meā¦

Just finished this drama and all I have to say is with friends like Song Yeon who needs enemies. She was an emotional terrorist that weaponized her sadness so that Eun Jung would always be as miserable as she was. All she did was complain that she had no one but would be upset every time her friend would care for her or do something nice for. in episode 14 after she steals her work the pure joy on her face was so shocking to me. To top it off she came back and weaponized her cancer just to be a dark cloud in Eun Jungās life one last time. she deserved to be alone at the end but Iām glad that Eun Jung can finally move on with her life with zero fear she will show up again.
just saw someone say this story lacked emotional depth? WHAT? all these characters were well-rounded with clear motivations for what they later did, no one simply did something for the fun of it, it was past-traumas, lack of mental capacity, inner turmoil and more. and for the people complaining about the main love-story, itās a SLOW BURNNNN. read it twice, if you donāt want to watch something that is easily digestible and evidently happy, then donāt be UPSET, itās just not for you!
i personally loved this drama, each episode youāre wondering what each character will do next, how will the effects change their perspective? itās not a clear-cut drama, thereās secret clues and sly remarks (some which are hidden in the stares or imagery) that might go over your head, it challenges you to think about the world around each individual.
at points it gets frustrating, but thatās what good characters and plotlines do!
Iām defo in the minority here, but this is a really good twisted, thought-provoking dramaā¦. lol. In a way it kinda is a borderline makjang? Like a toned down subtle psychological versionā¦.. the messages are presented in a very dramatic fashion, but it does really make you think about wot marriage actually means in the modern day world, and the notion of having kids etc.
I can totally understand all the polarising comments on MDLā¦. Anyways, because they kept it tight 8 episodes, I was totally engrossed in it. Good casting too. It probably wouldnāt have worked with just strong leads.
I usually hate slow burn romance but this was such a good drama. Very arthouse and unique. Exploration of characters, amazing ost, beautiful and haunting visuals, great acting & good chemistry.
Itās definitely gripping. Ever wondered why dramas are so predictable these days? They keep babying usādropping hints here and there just to make sure we understand whatās going on. Although this drama is quite dramatic and even a bit twisted, I think it feels realistic. In real life, we donāt really know whatās going on inside other peopleās minds or lives. The show depicts that in such a unique way, and since itās a slow burn, I get that itās not everyoneās cup of tea. It isnāt my cup of tea either, but I donāt know whyāI ended up enjoying it so much!
