where do people get the nerve to decide for another person, especially their partner?? i loved Gen's character development overall but that was just plain selfish and self serving tbh.
also loved the friendship part. people say it's the strongest foundation for a romantic relationship and these two certainly proved it. it was ultimately their friendship that made them forgive each other when everything's said and done. they just genuinely wanted to be a part of each other's lives no matter where they stand romantically.
AAAANNDD, we got a proper proposal and wedding!!! most GLs skip one or straight up butcher what they have just to end the series so Zense giving some deserving minutes for a proposal and a wedding was such a treat.
Did we watched the same show? How on earth is Gen selfish?? How is she self serving if all she did was breaking…
gurl if you don't see just one person making a choice for two people who are in a relationship is not selfish behavior then we just simply have different views on this. and i never talked about anything that happened to them before ep 8 . i'm only talking about when Gen decided to leave Aoey, even made Aoey hate her, and decided by herself that them being separated is best for both of them. of course Gen suffered -- she broke her heart in the process but that doesn't make what she did selfless in my eyes. how about asking Aoey what she thinks or what she wants or what she has to say about the situation? then they can decide together.
not trying to start anything but that's just my view on this. a relationship where one person deciding for two just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.
would you rather them be toxic, bffr rn. Sorry to break it to you, but real relationships are like this as well,…
did u skip over what i wrote? i said more depth to their characters, not for them to be toxic. in real relationships u learn more things abt your significant other after dating right? here we are not seeing anything new to their relationship. read the spoiler comment that i left too
you do realise this is based off a novel not an original script, people like you say they want things and then…
Instead of generalizing "people like me" or calling someone an embarrassment, maybe you can just give your opinion on the show without the insults. Have a great day Tiiinnnaa.
I absolutely loved Pam, Rak, and their love story in this series. Their shared love was lovely to watch.
I am not bothered that there wasn't any cray cray third party aka Kawi out to destroy the lives of his younger sister and his ex-girlfriend, because he couldn't accept that Pam never, ever loved him, and that she fell in love with one of his younger sisters. Kawi was someone that truly had the weight of the "success" of his family placed on his shoulders, due to his waste of human flesh sperm donor not being willing or able to not spread his seed throughout Bangkok.
I enjoyed seeing Nene, aka petite spitfire seeking revenge against her Mother's horrible sperm donor of a sack of flesh Khem. She got her revenge, while also gaining another chance at having a loving supportive family AND got her hot lover Ms. Oat at the end of it all.
What made me smile was that Orn was able to rediscover herself again, finally freeing herself, and her children from that house of deception, betrayal, and lies.
I await future GLs with Emi, Bonnie, and I am thrilled with the upcoming "Girl Rules" starring View and Mim.
I love this series for a lot of reason but mostly because it's a slice of life and we don't have enough gl in this genres, definitely need more of these . Emibonnie did amazing job portraying the character , all the character in this gl are hurt and this show is about how people come together and help heal each other.
Dokrak and Pam are soo cute together and I love Kawi being the best big brother ever. I still wish I knew "what bad things he's done that he was hiding" I feel like we never got a clear answer to that. I think it's up to our own imagination but still I was so curious to know. At first I was mostly there for the romance but then got distracted by the plot. Only regret is not seeing Khem suffer more. I feel like his real suffering would be seeing that he's guilty and repents of everything he's done. Some people also don't ever come to that realization but still loll.
i can not believe this series ended with another noodle ad, the ridiculousness of it all. I will say the series changed 98% of the novel and that idea was absolutely the best but the execution fell short. The cafe crew was there for nothing, remove them and nobody would notice. Nene's whole revenge plan became nonsensical the moment she got know that khem's legitimate children were victims just like she was and she still kept pushing to hurt them, like girl think of other ways to destroy that man instead of destroying his children as well. Grandma having cancer at the final episodes, why??? 4 years time jump and we dont get to see what Rak's profession is. Kawi and his mom are still at the family's hospital? who knows not us the audience. 10/10 for EmiBonnie's chemistry, they were really cute together i was sold right away. In my opinion from gmmtv's gl couples they have the best chemistry. The cinematography was beautiful, the ost was really pleasing, but the story could've gone way better with the changes they made.
