I am glad that we were shown that Wan made it clear to her Mom, when she paid homage/respect to her good for nothing…
Its ek who's "the other wo(man)" not pleng. These companies need to stop buying chao planoy's novels and this is how we'll get less annoying men. One of the things I HATE about her novels is victimising the men which BLs authors NEVER do that to women

I am glad that we were shown that Wan made it clear to her Mom, when she paid homage/respect to her good for nothing Dad after his funeral, that she wouldn't allow Wi to have ANY say in her life from that point onwards. Her Mom basically believed that Wan had to make the choices in her life, (marry into a rich/wealthy family, and not become the side piece), that she never had.

That's a horrible thing for a child to realize about their parent, but Wan lived throughout the choices both of her parents made for themselves and her in her life up until that point.

As for Wan choosing to marry Ek: Yes, she was fully in the wrong for marrying him. But Ek also has to take some responsibility in his decision to marrying a woman that clearly did not share any sort of real love and affection towards him. When I have watched the very many BLs in years (and in weeks past, hat-tip to "Live In Love") past, in which a female character is so desperate to hold onto or gain the interest of the main male characters, it makes me wonder if folks see value in themselves outside of whom they may end up with in their romantic relationships. Why demean yourself in such a way?

Phleng has spent years in some sort of "punishment" for walking out of Wan's life. Wan's folks made it clear that she wasn't wanted, especially when the money they expected he to have from her parents deaths didn't come to pass. She had to get out, and let Wan have a future, in which she had no say in. When she found out that Wan had been lying to her about her actual achievements, that was heartbreaking for her. Phleng has wanted the best for Wan. So, in her mind, at that time, she wasn't the best person for Wan (and that wasn't just about her untold/unrequited romantic feelings for her).

It's going to take time for Phleng to not feel some sort of guilt regarding her pushing Wan to be with Ek, her abandonment of Wan, her sudden return into Wan's life, and now her being found out as the "other woman".

Blank really did Wan dirty. They gave us a bland piece of white bread when in reality (which is Affair), Wan is a complicated, flawed, toxic, beautiful, sexy, strong, stupid ass full course meal of a doctor!

Also, I'm sooo happy that the tickets were sold out for last episode viewing when a lot of seats were empty during the first episode. I hope they get more projects cause that chemistry is šŸ”„

also, I noticed how the characters w the top (?) energy are getting most of the attention. it kinda feels like…
I don't think it is fair to compare the more popular GL actors to a f/m male MC or that they are doing the "bare minimum". The actor playing Wan is great in her role and deserves whatever popularity she gets. I do agree that the actor playing Pleng deserves just as much popularity, but Wan was always going to get more attention because the character is written in a more flashy, charismatic way that will naturally attract people more, but I have seen many comments, especially from Thailand, that have praised Sonya's acting. People love their chemistry together. It's not like people are saying that only one of them is carrying the romance, they are equally great, it's just that Wan is written to be more charismatic and Pleng is more subtle and introverted. I do think it is possible for a GL to have both main characters be equally popular with the viewers, but so far no one has adapted a GL that is written that way, but it will probably happen eventually...

In the novels Affair is set AFTER Gap and BEFORE Blank...

And in my mind, until word on the contrary that is how I organize the dramas...

Anytime I hear that top/bottom shit, I just exit. Not sure who's blaming Pleng for everything but everyone is to be blamed for what's happening.

8 episodes for this gem is absolutely diabolical. What am I supposed to do when it ends??? Did they consider that? Nothing less than 12 episodes!

No sequel. They just all share the same universe. Like Marvel.

I don't know what I'll do with my life after this series ends. Considering episode 7 will be devastating for us, we only have 1 episode left. I wish this series were longer. 8 episodes feel so short. There are so many things I would have liked to see: more episodes of just teasing (like it happens in the book), more delving into Pleng's trauma, etc. Why do GL's only get 8 episodes lately? I can't take it.

Are we getting season 2? Maybe not but idk.

Not Wi coming in immediately talking shit and causing unnecessary drama. I hope Pleng learns now cause listening to Wi before doing a test was crazy.

Not Pleng always listening to people who have proven to not have her best interests at heart and ignoring Wan's words. When Pleng was crying after she found out about the siblings thing and she pushed Wan away, I truly felt that. Sonya is in her oscar's bag.

I do not know where the fuck these dudes keep coming from. I truly believe there is an underground tunnel somewhere... BLOCK THE TUNNEL OFF! Frank, if after all this time you do not have someone then you need to.get a job. Same as Earth.

Wi also needs to follow her husband into the afterlife. She's a bit too much.

I also will not accept a Nueng that isn't played by P'Faye

Let my girls be happy now. Give them a wedding for all this madness and an island to live on away from civilization.

Not Wan being a absolute savage telling Ek how much she loves Pleng while he's holding them at gun point. Like…
Lol, she took me out when she did that. I was like, " Wan! Time and place!"
