Inhyuk called Sol after recognizing her at the hospital... police didn't ask Sol if she had met Sunjae last night, they just inquired about her pic with him, as the pic was placed on his table before he died...maybe to this question she must've replied the police about her meeting him last night, that's how Inhyuk probably came to know

it can depend on many factors: maybe because many scenes are placed on different locations, even till ep 4 drama is filled with majority of scenes being filmed on different locations...or maybe they had to take some breaks in-between adjusting for actors schedule
