IS IT WRONG THAT ALL THIS HEALS MY INNER CHILD?
I love a good story...who doesn't? Throw in bullies getting what they deserve and I'm in.As someone who was bullied throughout my childhood, this was therapeutic...something in me was at peace watching that POS taking those kicks and punches.
Seriously try watching it...if you're stuck being timid or weak at work or school to keep your job or just in general, WATCH THIS!!! You want to yell at your boss because they're being evil little shits but you can't cause you need the job? WATCH THIS!!!!
You'll heal things you didn't know you had.
I want part 2 already; with another culprit getting it. She's like the clean-up crew fr.
Shin Hye Sun delivered and then some, she's becoming my favourite actress with all her amazing work. I especially loved the braided look.
Lee Jun Yung was also exemplary...I mean we hate him but I'm going to look for more of his work cause his acting is amazing....plus he looks good being all evil and shit.
The supporting characters...esp the victim did a good job too, you could be immersed in their emotions while watching.
All in all, this was an awesome movie...totally worth the hype.
NOTE TO SELF; Korean youths are terrifying, every time I see a bullying scene in a KDrama or KMovie...I want to crawl up and disappear.

Now i get why everyone is mad in the reviews and comments.
This was everything I hoped it to be and more.I am a fan of action films, make them Korean and I'm sold... I have lived and breathed K2 and Healer for years. That being said, i was sort of reluctant to watch this series when it came out, am ashamed to reveal it was because of the reviews and comments i saw then.
This action-packed series has a little bit of everything, Politics, Schemes, Murders, Conspiracies and an inked lead who looks amazing in action and even better shirtless. The story is intriguing and involving from the start, I'm glad i started this after i finished my exams because I have done nothing for the past 48 hrs.
My favourite factor in the series is the subdued/hinted romance, it was my type of thing. Their chemistry was believable and relatable. The characters delivered what they were supposed to...even the hot villain Jerome...so sad he got his face messed up,..he deserved it though.
Now.....W...T.....F....WAS...THAT....ENDING.!????????????????????????????????????
HOW COULD YOU SBS....WE NEED A SEASON 2 ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....I should have listened to the warnings in the comments...but i had fun...while it lasted.....
Anyway, if you are prone to anger, don't watch this until the announcement for season two comes out, I shouldn't have cause now I'm stuck wanting to know what happened next.

YOU SAW THE STILLS TOO HUH????
Decided to wath this because i was baited by that plane photo. I also happen to love both leads, esp LDH, seeing him all tatted up was just the icing on the cake.Anyway,
If you spook easily, you have heart issues or anything related to these, please stay away.
The story was fantastic, well brought out, and you could follow it without having to pause and do the distant stare into an unseen camera because you cannot figure out what the hell is going on.
I actually got a little scared during the rituals and did a little google search to see if viewers were somewhat protected because apparently the chants were real.
I could relate to some of the context because where am from, weird things do happen if your deceased hates his resting place. I'm generally not superstitious but some things I do respect despite having no knowledge whatsoever, that being said, please watch this movie with an open mind...you'd enjoy it more.
KGE could shaman me anytime, girl worked that role I almost believed it. Also...WHO DID HER HAIR????????????? I LOVE YOUUUUUU.
WHO IN THE FUCKING HELL FINDS A GIANT ASS COFFIN SHOVED INTO THE EARTH WRAPPED IN BARBED WIRE AND THINKS...hmmm...let's pull it out. mf even had someone buried on top of him for crying out loud.
AHJUSSI!!!! SOMETHINGS WE DON'T DO EVEN FOR THE PLOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ending was spectacular, and ending the giant samurai with blood drenched wood was so girly-boss of the geomancer... I do have a question though? Why did was he bleeding towards the end????
Is there part 2????????
Unpopular opinion... hearing the Monks name should have been the first sign to get the hell out ...fuck 500 million...wait no 500 million could have me vibing with the ghost....butttttt.
P.S
WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING WEIRD, A WEIRD FOREST WITH WEIRD PLANTS AND WEIRD FOXES AND A WEIRD SNAKE WITH A HUMAN HEAD....YOU DIDN'T SEE SHIT, TURN AROUND AND WALK YOUR ASS BACK HOME.
Thank you for reading my rant...sorry my review..

this drama is amazing...i'm so going to finish it...that being said...i need to vent!!!!
Positives...
-Characters... LYX is freaking breath-taking...so is the rest of the cast...but man Tantai Jin owns me...
- Aesthetic...this is the most beautiful historical drama ever and I've watched quite a few...the costumes...the jewelry..the sets...AMAZING!!!!!
- Graphics...the editing is sort of believable...some dramas have it done so poorly that it's an effort to overlook it.
-The acting...I have sobbed on behalf of this man...TTJ... for the better part of the drama...and other extreme emotions that are not public friendly...anyway...
Vent!!!
- WTH is even happening in this thing? Where did the story go?
-Why are there so many misunderstandings?????? like talk!!!! communicate people...it would save so much heartache...I know it's the story let me have my moment.
- I know this is supposed to be tragic...ill-fated and whatnot...but boy are these leads dramatic...they take more effort exerting revenge and payback than they do in their 'missions'.
-Bai Lu ...you are gorgeous but I've wanted to squeeze your neck for a couple of episodes now....
-The love threads thief better get what's coming to her......woman has been awful in all her lives!!!!
-Why did they have to take Grandma??????????
ALSO.......
- HE'S NOT YET THE DEMON LORD...WHY IS HE GETTING TREATED LIKE ONE...LIKE BFFR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-To be honest...if I get treated like this...getting bullied most of my life...then betrayed by each and every one close to me....misunderstood and judged unfairly....to the heartache of loving someone whose only purpose is to murder me... I'll go evil too...fry all of you...
- CAN WE PLEASE GET MORE SCREENTIME FOR THE DEMON LORD......EVIL LOOKS GOOD ON LYX!!!!!
This is me after episode 28...I need to gather myself for a few days before I watch the rest.
EDIT: JUST FINISHED EP 40.
My emotions are all over the place...I got a little confused i the last two episodes but maybe that's because i was too impatient.
If star-crossed lovers...sad endings...or unfulfilled endings are not your thing...let episode 35 be your last.
Thank You for fulfilling my previous wish...we did get alot of Devil God screen-time...YAY!!
That being said....I sure hope there's Part/Season 2....I need to see Tantai Jin...happy and not being a matyr.
It wouldn't have hurt to see everyone acknowledge his sacrifice either...and all who judged him hastily drowning in guilt...I'm talking to you Xiao Lin 2.0...you're hot but man are you a mean f***er.

SHOULD HAVE STAYED CURIOUS.
I haven't cried this much in...ever.I don't think I'll heal or move on from this.
This is what happens when you stumble across the sequel and then get lured into watching the first, I had no business watching this after watching Forever and Ever.
This is your only warning. STAY CURIOUS PEOPLE. I wouldn't rewatch it if you paid me, hence the less than perfect score.
My therapist will be hearing about this.

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO SCRATCH YOUR BRAIN, THIS IS IT.
One thing you need before you watch this it to leave all your expectations at the door, nothing will go the way you want it to. Nothing. That being said...HOLY HELL WAS THIS THE MOST INTRIGUING CINEMATIC UNIVERSE EVER!!!!
BAEK AH JIN.
A girl shaped by her circumstances. I've seen many people term her the perfect villain. She wasn't a villain. Baek Ah Jin didn't seek your ruin until you came at her, until you placed yourself in her path. Then she comes for you and yours.
You cannot hold her to the standards of a normal person. As a child, Baek Ah Jin survived her mother's abuse and her father's complacency. Then her father killed her mother, and he explained it to her like that was not a big issue, made her think of the bigger picture, so when the abusive mother asked for help, she went the safer route. The writers ate with that first episode since it dictates Baek Ah Jin's persona to a T.
Her father tells her life will get better as he remarries, but some part of Baek Ah Jin believes that, only to be disillusioned when her father and her new mum plot to have her sold, or film child pornography. So she finds a way to defend herself, blackmail, when that fails, and she's almost drowned, she goes for the next weapon: Junseo. And it works. It is important to note this going forward, for it shapes their relationship.
Another gem the writers subtly nudged at the viewers was Ah Jin's hate /mistrust of females; she has a misconstrued view of her gender, and this is also a factor in her manipulation.
Her high school bully had no business coming at her, belittling her background, and her lack of parents; she got her due.
The cafe owner was marked the moment they met, but Ah Jin cemented her decision to use him when he told her, EXPLICITLY, that she could. She even repeated it. Now, under normal circumstances, it would be considered kindness to offer someone help in these words, but Baek Ah Jin isn't normal; she doesn't think as anyone would, her fight is for survival, and so she survives.
Jae Oh is my favourite character by far, and the perfect partner for Ah Jin. He gets her, her entire flawed self. He doesn't try to change her. not like Junseo, who tries to mould her to his understanding of behavioural norms. Jae Oh put her first, believed her first. And their relationship was the most open and comfortable. He could have survived, though I guess his sacrifice, which Junseo shat on!!!! required a steep price.
Junseo tries to have everything, his morals, and the woman who went against everything else. He is a hypocrite who deservedly loses everything in the end. At his own hands, too.
LET ME REITERATE, IF JUNSEO HAS NO HATERS, AH JIN GOT TO ME FIRST. FUCKER LET THE PSYCHO CEO GO SCOT FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IN KANG.
One of these days, they will stop giving HIY tragic love stories. Is it that he yearns so well and plays the broken heart so good they have to cast him?
This man had Ah Jin well on the track to security and freedom. Freedom to love and feel safe in being loved. He had his demons, she had hers, but they were working it out. Grandma was healing Ah Jin one interaction at a time. Had given Ahj Jin a second chance, so had In Kang.
Then, JUNSEO HAPPENED.
He could just let it go; he did what he did best, then got into Ah Jin's head, and she did what she was good at: surviving. Survival meant protecting herself, and protecting herself meant getting rid of weaknesses. In Kang was becoming has, so she broke it off, awful timing, because the man was holding on by a thread.
In Kang's death nullifies all of Ah Jin's healing. Makes her even 'worse', especially when her carefully curated world comes tumbling down.
CEO Moon puts Ah Jin's behaviour under contemplation. He is a master manipulator, unlike her, who is majorly on the defensive. He plays everyone like a chess piece, and a desperate, heartbroken Ah Jin, falls right into his trap. When Ah Jinn doesn't fall in line, he seeks to break her, and with Jae Oh's help, she fights back. But in the end, he goes untouched courtesy of Junseo, the hypocrite.
Baek Ah Jin finally feels the freedom and survival she fought so hard for within reach, when it all comes tumbling down, on the biggest night of her life. Junseo betrays her, I think he finally embraces the part of himself he fought so hard to keep down, using Ah Jin as his shield. He wants to end it all, so he picks up a fleeing Ah Jin, stupidly confesses his love, offers to send her to hell with him, and drives them off a cliff.
If it had ended here, the writers wouldn't have done this magnificent work any justice.
Junseo dies, and his last desperate grab at Ah Jin is fought off. Ah Jin had called him his last shackle during the death drive, and with that final scene, as she is standing on the cliff, looking down at the wreckage, she didn't even try to pull him out of, she finally achieves what she fought so hard for. FREEDOM.
Her last shackle had fallen, and without her direct interference. A truly fitting ending.
I would love a second part, but this ending feels complete. Knowing KDramas, they might have botched SN 2 anyway.
Those hating on this failed to understand the film. Or they were looking for something other than what was advertised. Or forwarding masters. Their loss.
I would watch it again.
Now I'm off to rewatch my demon, and any other film with KYJ, because she ate this up, and I want more.
THIS MIGHT BE THE LONGEST REVIEW I'VE WRITTEN EVER. BUT THIS FILM DESERVES IT.
WATCH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW DO I MOVE ON?????????
I thought I had seen and felt it all with Hidden Love. But no...this masterpiece was just lying in waiting, gearing up to bombard me with emotions I had no idea I had the capacity to feel.First of WU LEI, the man that you are😫😫. How does he do this? How does he play a character so good you'e left wanting more? Let's not even talk about the man's expressive eyes...
Most CDramas have an avalanche of red flags, toxicity, misunderstanding and an ex somewhere who's richer than Midas and has got legs for miles. It gets frustrating to be honest. But, here is a drama with zero red flags... none. Even the love rivals are too hard to hate, they're actually relatable. No stupid love triangles. No agonizing family feuds and parental influence.
There's not a single moment I spent on hating anyone while watching this, and it was refreshing, which made this all the more enjoyable.
THE BROMANCE PEOPLE THE BROMANCE! Had me wishing I was a man so I could have amazing man friends who'd do anything for me. Like how are they so close after years of separation and being each other's competition????? Their relationship made me tear up honestly.
The drama was such a wonderful way to bring the largely ignored games mainstream; had me wishing I could hold a cue stick without threatening to disembowel anyone in my immediate vicinity, so I could go to games and look all sexily formal with a secret boyfriend cheering me from the stands...yes folks...the delulu is deluluing.
On to the golden point in this review. The CHEMISTRY. The leads had the sparks flying so hard I was third-wheeling a freaking on-screen couple. The eye contact, the COMMUNICATION, the little acts of service, the secret visits and touches!!!!!! Argggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!
I need me a Lin Yi Yang. I need to be courted as Yin Guo did. Fuck asking me out with flowers or chocolate, text me declaring your intentions while we do laundry😣😣
All in all, this is a must-watch. And it had me reviving my online dating profiles because even if I'm done being single this introverted idiot can't talk to anyone face to face without having a panic attack or babbling like a fool, let alone a man.

WHAT A WAY TO START 2024.
Now, I might be slightly biased since I'm a huge fan of both main leads. Especially JCW...I Love the man, but this just maybe the best drama I've watched this year.Let me start with what I didn't like;
1. I like a good revenge story; I like seeing the tables turn on bullies and them getting a piece of their own pie; did it happen here? Yes, it did. Was it enough? No, it wasn't. I needed that woman to suffer a lot more, more backlash and hate from the same media she tried to manipulate.
The boyfriend too, I mean all the cheating ass got was vinegar and a spoiled kimchi bath...I needed more.
2. The ML's dad, the redemption arc was kinda fast and not deserved to some extent, but hey at least he gave his blessing.
3. Bu Sang Do...I don't know I just didn't like his entitlement; dude I know the heart wants what it wants but still...damn.
4. Why the hell didn't we get a Mansu side story???????????
5. Jin Dal's Inlaws...I know they got punished but I needed to see it.
6. With all this I think this drama was finished in haste and deserved a lot more than 16 episodes.
7. I needed all the people who turned their backs on Sam-Dal to quite frankly eat shit. Sorry excuses of humans.
What did I like? Buckle up, folks.
1. Ji Chang Wook; I don't know, I just love the guy. He could be the most macho man in a scene and still be cute and lovable. I like me a guy who can do both. I'm also obsessed with his walking style.
As for the acting, the guy never disappoints, we will take what he's dealt and serve it exceptionally, kudos to the casting team because if I were asked to describe JCW i'd point at Cho Yong-Pil...man owned that character, he delivered the best emotions. Who doesn't love a green flag who's a tad bit emotionally dramatic and while lot stubborn?
2. Shin Hye Sun; My first drama with her was Mr. Queen and I was excited about her character here and man ...did she deliver. Slightly unhinged; I mean who carries rotten kimchi just to fling it on someone? She played her character so well, too well that I believed her hometown was Jeju and that she was a real professional photographer.
3. KMK...any drama with this woman...I'm in. It was like a sequel to Healer watching her and JCW again. The woman puts her entire self into every character and I love to see it.
4. The supporting cast, the haenyos were for once nice ahjummas...some dramas just have annoying ones who meddle and create trouble. The Jeju friends was a nice add, I especially liked WKT who was a hoot; sure we needed him to shut up sometimes but the man was the best cupid if i ever saw one...he jumped the plot that would have otherwise dragged with a whole lot of secrets and miscommunications.
5. Sam-Dal and the relationship she has with her parents, her friends and especially her sisters who were a favourite. I can't believe i hated Jin-Dal in K2...that woman was mean! But here...i looked forward to every scene she was in esp with her 'husband' .The director said I want crazy and the woman was like hold my beer!
Lessons learnt;
1. Fear Knetz.
2. The Korean fanbase system has a whole lot of power than they should. Entire cooperations rely solely on public opinion which could be shifted at the drop of a hat.
3. It's sad and shocking to see how lives could be ruined by one person and their smartphone. How many people has this happened to and why does it continue to happen???????
Anyway, I'm giving this a couple of weeks before I come back to binge-watch it .

YOUR SIGN TO IGNORE THE COMMENTS AND WATCH THIS!
I'm writing this review because I'm incensed by the hate I've seen on this drama here, and I fear it may lead some to bypass this fantastic watch. Some of the major discontent comes from..."What genheral, what legend? it was more like the romance of the female general..."
First of all, very sexist that a girl can't get it while toppling heads, severing limbs and shit...
Second, In my understanding, the legend existed, even before the drama started, right from the first episode. The general, He Refui, was already acclaimed and renowned. We got to watch her hard work and determination since she started out. Got to see her succeed and exceed in her family's expectations. We saw her journey in the Academy and the recognition that led her to get the twin sword. Saying that she wasn't really a general is just hate speech.
The drama focuses on her journey to reclaiming and owning her title, AS A FEMALE... it is the whole point of the drama, as the TITLE suggests. She went back from the start, worked harder, proved herself again, and again, and in the process, fell in love.
The legend of the female general doesn't show much of battles and wars, and all the gory details that come with the rank, at least not that much. But they show the rise, fall and rise again of a fierce,h ardworking girl. that she got a man in the end, doesn't negate all her prowess!!!!!!!!!!!
He Yan worked so hard; she gained recognition and respect from her peers, even after they found out she was female. Her reclaiming her legendary title is just icing on the cake.
That being said, yes, please watch the drama; it is a perfect blend of all the emotions you'd want to experience from a historical war drama. The love triangle doesn't want to make you pull out your nails, and the FL isn't nauseatingly dumb with a nasally child-like voice. The ML isn't some damaged psycho who gets a rushed redemption. I think the hype and wait were worth it.
Think Mulan, without the snarky, sassy dragon side-kick....
I waited till it finished airing, and watched it in one sitting while doing my hair, I'd watch it again.
P.S
Dudu can get it...

NEVER HAVE I FELT SO SATISFIED BY A XIANXIA DRAMA ENDING!!!!
This is by no means a professional review, I'm trying to offload all the crazy emotions I felt while watching this and I hope they give you the nudge to try it for yourself, that being said, let's dive right in.Let's start with the CGI;
Wow! Just wow! This is some of the best work I have seen, the different realms with their various settings, even the underwater realm didn't look ridiculous in this. The fighting scenes were so believable and immersive. Let's not forget the awesome displays of power. If I thought I'd win, I'd fight you baby girl of an ancient god for you Lord Bicang.
But the best part of it all would be the hall of the fallen gods, Xing Zhi's comrades.
The acting;
You know the actors were prepared to serve c**t when the CGI is complimentary and not the entirety of their work. You can tell they trained and worked hard, especially for those fight scenes, I even tried pausing to catch the background fighters slipping-- I'm talking to you untamed-- but everyone was focused on the game. It made everything truly thrilling to watch.
SHEN-LI!!!!!
Never have I met a fl I didn't want to shave and water board for being ridiculous and annoying. She got the character and became the character. Her wit and humour were nice additions. Her strength was visible and not something forced on the viewers to support a narrative.
Let's not forget the face card....and her wonderful wardrobe, I want to be isekai-d into a xianxia solely for the clothes I'd get to wear.
XING ZHI!!!!!!!!!!
The man that you are.
Have you met a god who was so in touch with his emotions you forgot he was a god--except for the catching lightning part, cause holy hell was that all godly and hot--- never? Well, let me introduce you to this one.
He was delightful when he was a mortal, the humour was there even when you could tell it wasn't supposed to be, but as a god turned fisherman, he was a marvel to watch.
His crush on Shenli and all the jealous stuff he did because of it were the highlights of some of the episodes.
One of my best scenes is when he spars with her, but more like claims her in front of her soldiers. Shen li was a strong warrior to not jump his bones right there.
Xing Zhi aka bored ancient god aka Shen Li's baby girl, I wish you were real so i'd have a better excuse to reject normal males.
THE CHEMISTRY!!!
Just one thing: HOW THE HELL DID THAT EPISODE GET THROUGH CENSORSHIP!!!
They had me watching my screen guiltily because I knew there was no way I got to watch all that for free, and so easily!!
Slight comedy my a** this was a full blown comedy with a side of fantasy rated R, with zero drag and zero skip episodes.
THE ENDING.
The main reason I even decided to write a review.
Most Xianxia endings are just tortures and merciless executions disguised as entertainment. Tell me why i'd suffer for 40 plus episodes with minimal fluff and disguised spiciness------i'm talking to you long ballad the hell was that making us watch two parrots kissing---- to have the ml or fl die a horrible totally unnecessary idiotic death???? Or have an open ending leaving the rest to the viewers imagination???? IF MY IMAGINATION WAS RELIABLE I WOULDN'T BE WATCHING THIS THINGS LIKE AN ADDICT!!!!!!!! I'D BE MAKING MY OWN!!
Anyway, that was the most satisfying ending in the history of all historical dramas, even ones I haven't watched, you cannot beat the fluff overload we got on that final episode. I'll let you watch and see for yourself.

MOST REALISTIC HEART WRENCHING SH**
THE ONLY REASON I'M NOT GIVING A PERFECT SCORE IS THAT I WANTED MORE, I WASN'T READY FOR IT TO BE OVER.The tears I've shed over this drama...I could swim in.
It starts with nice albeit cliche twist, a cocky lead getting a rude awakening from a badass female. At least that's what you'd think but nooo... Zo In Sung...or in this case, JJY is not at all he seems. He stands up for himself, his morals and beliefs, while keeping boundaries already set intact. You don't see that a lot in Rich Alpha male leads.
This man outdid himself acting his role, so much that I was so shocked when I saw he was running alone on the highway, and not with Kang Hoon. I totally believed the guy was real!!!! And his conditions, the OCD...the schizo, this is one of the best portrayals of mental illnesses in dramas.
Anyway, enough about the man, the rest of the cast was fantastic too; a little crazy and dramatic but it made the whole experience wholesome.
The doctors played their roles perfectly and I learned a lot from some of the other patients. Kudos to the writers for creating the masterpiece.
The romance between the leads was painfully relatable and incredibly mature. The kind of romance portrayals you learn from.
Would I watch this again?
Probably, but after I've 'healed' from the emotional rollercoaster it took me on.
Should you watch it though?
DEFINITELY!!!!!!!!!

yeah you should definitely watch it
I saw a clip of this drama on TikTok and decided to give it a chance since it was complete. And I kid you not I binged watch the entire thing in a single sitting.
it was good, very good for a rom-com.
I had a lot of issues with the fl at the beginning because of her character and how she'd just assume the worst and try to justify it but that means she did a good job portraying her character...
The ml, well the man had me cackling half the time with how he would shut down those girlies with delusions of grandeur....don't get me started on how he put the ex in place...loved it!!!!
Is this drama for everyone ...probably not since some of ya'll have a stick up somewhere, and believe only what you like should be...weak fl...macho ml... lots of chasing and games before sealing the deal....as for me...I loved the whole new perspective...it was a drama I didn't know I needed.
Do I have a thing for long-haired men now???....yes...yes, I do...who doesn't????
Also, this should serve as a lesson to all the 'fans' who think they can dictate their favs lives...as stupid as they looked acting it...you did too...get a life!...or a partner...though that might be a tad bit difficult....fighting!!!

i wasn't ready!!!
I have never given a drama a perfect score...or watched one in one sitting although a short one.first of all, whatever you're expecting, it's not what you'll get...at all.
also if you have a past in bullying mild or extreme this will be an emotional roller coaster...
that being said it's been a long time since I straight out ugly cried over fictional characters, but those last few episodes had me baying for blood and drowning in tears.
the revenge wasn't enough...all those f**ckers deserved way more...cowards!!!!...maybe I'm projecting
I'm so happy there was a hint about a continuation...because I feel unfulfilled...I need to see if Bum Seok is drowning in guilt...i hope so...and if my man Soo woke up and hauled ass to that other school...I seriously need that team back together...
.....now let me go finish my project🙂🙂🙂
Can't wait!!!!

NEVER HAVE I SEEN SUCH MATURE LEADS IN A CDRAMA.
If you're an avid CDrama fan, whether historical or modern, there's one concept we can't seem to run away from.Trashy second leads, and a bitch squad with a vendetta. The girl who wants the man and doesn't take no for an answer, or the pining man who wants the girl and sometimes literally fights or throws a gargantuan tantrum when he doesn't get what he wants.
WELL, WORRY NO MORE.
Ski into Love is such a well-paced drama, that I hardly forwarded any scenes. The leads get together at appropriate times, without dragging and pining. Jiang Yiming is a sweetheart, and I honestly cried with him, when he came to terms with Zhi's relationship with her master.
In some cases, he'd have demanded Shan Chong leave Zhi so he could help Shan Shan, but he didn't. He went out of his way to offer his services, even offering friendship and more, despite the fact that he lost the girl. This honestly makes him one of my favourite characters.
The rest of the squad is just vibes on vibes, there are no underhanded attacks or prevalent bitchiness, and that is such a nice change.
The parents are relatable. Their views, struggles, and lives are understandable, and it's hard to hate any of them, even Zhi's mom.
I only have a small issue with Zhi's bestie, cause I don't understand why she turned aloof and bitchy on her trainer, I didn't get what went on, that she blocked him, then came back and acted as if nothing had happened before. I get the guy for going off.
I'm yet to finish the drama but, I'm sure I WON'T DROP IT BEFORE THE END.
If you are looking for a sign to watch this drama, here you go, WATCH IT!!!! IT'S WORTH IT!
THE PERFECT MIX OF LIFE ISSUES, ROMANCE AND MORE!
