Agree SO much!!
I hate seeing people being verbally abused for having different views feelings and opinions. I WANT to hear about what other members think as I learn from it.
I am especially worried about the misinformation that person spreads though. I learned SO much more from those in the actual countries the news speaks of and it is always more nuanced than simple news sources available to me here say.
I guess that is the beauty and ugly of the internet is that all have access, even those that bring a lot of damage to others.

Is this wreck @atom951 calling Japan superior? Don't get me wrong there are things I love about Japan and Japanese culture but this place has SUCH a horrible problem with women going to work and especially school girls going to and from school being SA'd that they made a single train car only for these women and girls to keep them safe.....and the men of this country protested in mobs to not let women have safety from them. The police avoid persuing crimes against women and girls especially if they think the man involved is a regular worker earning taxes. Amd even more so when it is groups of boys harming 1 or some girls.
In Japan and Korea people are safe from regular violence/theft but women and girls are particularly unsafe from SA crimes which are definitely violent.
Then you have the massively declining birthrates and painfully limited employment opportunities all of which have a whole lot to do with the culture.....
@sophistik puts it better but holy jesus what kind of world does this man want to live in and does he realise that in these countries he would not live the good life of priveledge that he envisions but rather be kicked around on the bottom and looked down on?
These countries do not have the support system for mental health that his obviously does.

I hate to break it to you but Canada's punishments for crimes against women are about the same as SK. I think though Canada's legal system will actually arrest people while is SK there is a strange drive to protect the careers/future of famous or young men.
When people argue that since the law is the law regarding drug use and how seriously that crime is treated it always has others side eyeing them because crimes against women are also a crime under their laws but those just don't get punished and upheld the same legally and societally.
This case of two laws two cimes but just do not get treated like a cime is a crime and the law is the law.
So yes we genuinely want to know why this man's career is over while that dude in who forced under age girls trying to get roles is still in eeeeverything.
According to SK ideals drug users are out but according to western ideals crimes against women and underage are out so....

For me it is the classism within the legislative system.
Harm to women is less punished or unpunished and harm to poor or un-connected a.k.a. not the upper class or connected to the upper classes goes less or unpunished.

If you watch this without good subs or quality picture it seems very very messy and the ML a total jerk. With giod subs and ability to see their facial expressions it's a good movie.

Some people feel that women are not attractive over 30 so are really offended when he is much younger than her. Most seem to be okay with much much older ML to FL.
I agree with you that if the MLs are so much older then why not FLs older too.
