It's soooo cute! Lowkey I wanted a bit more angst bc I don't forgive that easily but good for them lol I just wish this show was at least 30 min episodes!
Nah cuz this is wayyy better than I expected! The cast also helps lol
This is peak early 2010s romance kdrama vibes! And I'm here for it! I can see why this wouldn't be some people's cup of tea but as someone who watched kdramas for 14 years, this is very reminiscent of the slow-burn rich cold guy and cute, quirky, hardworking, down-on-her-luck "girl" type of kdrama.
Gongchan is doing a great job. It's not his acting that yall don't like, it's the character, which is fair. But he's doing a great job playing what he's assigned and the chemistry is definitely there. I love the 2nd couple too. Can't wait for more episodes!
Taehyun's actions aside, this show is a 10/10 so far! It exceeded my expectations solely bc of the quality of production, storywriting, and acting! It's so good and I'm so excited for the future episodes!
I had real high hopes starting ep 1 and now at ep 4 I've some become kinda indifferent to the show. Maybe this is the type of show I would enjoy binging so I could skip the boring parts. Each episode on its own its doing it for me personally.
Ok I'm only 5 mins into ep 1 and I already have a feeling this is gonna be one of my fave shows... I might eat my words sooner or later but so far just the kids and their acting and the production.. love it
It's been a while since I've absolutely fallen in love with a BL drama in the first 2 eps, esp K-BL. The story, acting, concept, production, AND the visuals... just wow! Everything is perfect. I can't wait for the rest of the show. This could easily be a full length k-drama and absolutely crush it!
Just finished the show and I have to say, it's a bit different than what I had expected but in a good way!
It's such a heartwarming and beautiful show and it was produced and acted stunningly. No complaints there! So many great stories within one story and it touched on so many real-life topics, and different forms of relationships.
While I do want to give this show 10/10, sadly some aspects of it hold me back and take away from the realism. For example, Earth plays a man in his late 30s and is called "uncle" by all the characters, despite him looking the same age if not a few years older. It was not apparent at all that he was meant to be almost 40 until he said it in ep 2 or 3. They didn't even try to make him look the age he was playing so it was like playing pretend on the audience's part. Ofc, he did a great job, and no complaints on his end but it was a miscast...
The pacing also felt a bit off in some parts. The ending had me confused because it said "2 months later" but it looked like it had been several months if not years.
But enough complaining. The show is still a gem. I will be recommending it for sure. Liming and Heart (and ofc Gaipa+Alan) have a special place in my heart. 9/10
I was honestly looking forward to this show for ages but literally 10 mins into ep 1 and I feel like the producer should've asked for a refund from the writer, director and editor.
Nothing makes sense, we get 0 exposition and get thrown straight to what should be like the middle of ep 2 in a regular show.
I have no idea who's who, or why he hates the other guy so much, and literally trying to make us feel bad for mc's parental abuse trauma. Easily could've been solved if we got even 20 minutes of ep 1 setting the scene and introducing the characters...
At this point I'm just here for the MCs and their chemistry
Just started and I'm only here for the spice BUT the introduction in ep 1 was so confusing/chaotic my brain didn't know how to process what was going on. It was too fast and too much at once.
Had to pause to commend this lol now back to the show

A lot more cohesive and entertaining. Yes, it's not perfect but at least has me looking foward to the next episode. Their chemistry is insane 🔥
