Ugh Ngern the foine ass man that you are!!! I was so distracted by his facecard, it was hard to focus on the show but anyways

This is soooo fucking good, I'm obsessed with everything about it (minus ending of ep 15 but they gotta follow the novel ig so I'll allow it)

I hope we get the spicy scenes that blue-balled us on ep 14 and 15 lol the angst better only last 15 mins or less!

The only part that was good was Pai standing up for himself and calling out his family and grandpa. As the eldest child, I know exactly how Pai felt. Always being the most responsible, never causing trouble, yet still treated the worst. I cried with him and I felt his pain. Mark is an amazing actor.

That being said, he deserves better writing bc as everyone else said, everything going back and everyone forgiven so easily felt like a cop out. Pai should've started his own business despite getting his apology. Pai should've gotten his revenge on Tim before ever thinking of getting back.

If this was a One31 drama, we would've gotten the angst and revenge we all wanted. Instead GMM gave us a disneyfied boring crap. SMH

There's a more heartbreaking scene in ep 9 which satisfies more. But, in the book Pai didn't throw any chairs…
I'll take your word for it! Going back to ep 8

agree, usual GMM script, it just starts to fizzle, lol. Excitement/tension and angst has left the script. I can't…
real... this is so gmmtv smh... I should've expected this

your comments makes me want to continue bc I wanna see Tim get what he deserves but at the same time, idk if it'll be enough for me. But I might just do it if I'm super curious. For now, I had to put the show on hold bc ep 7 pissed me off

Just finished ep 7 and wtf? That was sooo anti-climactic? Why tf does Tim not have any guilt or remorse? Why didn't Pai show him hell?? Why does it seem like they overlooked the whole thing like it was some oofy doofy?

Hello??? Where's my angst, anger, hurt, betrayal arc for Pai? That should've lasted longer than 5 mins cuz what?

I get it, they wanna keep this light hearted but the way my heart broke for Pai at the wedding, I expected so much more. We could've had at least 1-2 episodes before Pai even considered seeing Tim's face again... i can't

Dao and Artit's story is the only reason I'm watching this show. It's so freaking good. My heart is doing all the flips and I loveeee how it's so natural and gradual. I'm obsessed with them. Also Ngern (Artit) get prettier every episode it's not fair!

I also love the relationship between him and his friends, and his dad. They're all so funny and blunt, i love it.

I'm so conflicted.

On one hand, the plot itself was not bad and kinda interesting. They somehow tied everything well by the end so the flashbacks and all made sense. The acting was pretty good too, but only sometimes.

Other times, the acting was stiff and awkward. I didn't know what to make of it. I think they acted the best when they had scenes together. I can't decide if that's on the actors or the director, or both?

Either way, I ended up finishing it so that's something.

Overall, it wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad. A solid attempt for rookie actors: 8/10

(P.S. I wish they didn't kiss like they were gonna swallow each other whole ALL THE TIME. Like calm down)

Hmm... First of all, it was quite a challenging plot for what it seems newbie actors so yeah, the acting skill…
Perfectly said! Came here to say the same

NGL it took me a few attempts to really get into the series. But once I really decided to give it a go, I was not disappointed.

Yes, the cliches are there, but this is a lakorn-style series. Lakorns (Thai soap operas) have a certain style and charm to them. They can be dramatic, wild, and sometimes ridiculous. But they always know how to play with your heartstrings.

This drama did just that. I went through every emotion while watching this and overall, had a fun time. The slow burn romance was well done too, though, I wish the couple got together a bit later to keep the tension. I do understand that it was necessary for the plot for them to move fast so I can't fault them for that too much.

The acting was top notch, the writing was pretty solid, the plot was interesting and kept me on my toes. I had fun and got attached to the characters. The drama did what it needed to do.

Overall, a solid 9/10 for me.

THIS!! came to comment the exact same thing. the words that kept repeating in my mind throughout the whole series,…
yes! the poor writing is so unfair for the actors who had great chemistry. They could've delivered a solid 9 or 10/10 J-BL if it was written better :(

Slowburns are my absolute fav shows ever HOWEVER, this wasn't it. The show was doing so well until about halfway and then lost its momentum. The moment Wataru confessed the first time, it could've been so great from there but I felt like there were so many anti-climactic moments that made me sigh and even sometimes roll my eyes.

The absolute worst was when he realized his feelings in the final episode and ran to see Minato, they hit a halt there for a few minutes again before getting to the point, losing the momentum again. Everytime I felt any excitement, the writers said nope!

All in all, this show should've been 8 episodes. The actors and production made me finish, but reluctantly.
