First few episodes ate. I was so happy to see JoongDunk getting a good show for once. However, the moment the show decided to focus on the cringey romance over the plot, it went downhill. The ending was a shitshow and I am very disappointed at whoever wrote/directed this.
I will say, Dunk's acting improved sooo much though and I hope to see him in more serious roles like these. It suits him sooo much! Overall, actors did great. Writer should go back to a creative writing class because this isn't it.
P.S. NOT EVERY SHOW NEEDS A F**KING BEACH EPISODE OH MY GOD FFS!
Ugh my heart!! I love this sm their chemistry and acting is top notch!
I hope they get more great projects in the future because they ate this up! Wasn't the biggest fan of their characters in Head2Head but this proved that it wasn't the actors, just the story.
Wow, I was sooo pleasantly surprised by how good this was! Binged all 13 eps in 2 days.
(It also helped that I binged all 9 episodes of Dare You to Death, and in comparison, this show was a true mystery detective show. It had everything I wanted to see in DYTD. )
Overall, I would say this show is one of the top detective/mystery/horror Thai BLs I've seen in a while. A solid 9/10.
Sidenote: I used to be a PoohPavel pairing hater (I just didnt feel the chemistry in Pitbabe) but after watching this show, I realized it wasn't the pairing, it was the show Pitbabe that was the problem.
In this show, Pooh's character was so much better, his acting improved a ton, and their characters, motivations, and falling in love gradually made me stop being a hater lol everything made sense finally
Who wrote this shit? lmao I swear I was willing to look past all the stupid bs until I reached my breaking point at ep 9. Like the plot holes, the lack of urgency, and the cheesy dialogue/romance made me wanna choke.
I guess I expected too much from GMMTV again lol no fault of the actors. The writing is just... weird.
As a BL veteran and someone who's been here since day 1 when it comes to Thai BLs, esp GMMT(hee)V BL's, this is…
I've seen a lot of reviews that did not like the show but most people are failing to realize that the show is meant to be a crack show. It's meant to silly, nonsensical, and just for us to laugh and have fun.
It's not a show that you're meant to take seriously or nitpick any plotholes. This is ridiculous and fun, and that's it. It's really hard to make a dumb show good but they achieved it with Me and Thee, and that's why I love it so much.
As a BL veteran and someone who's been here since day 1 when it comes to Thai BLs, esp GMMT(hee)V BL's, this is hands down the BEST BL they've made, probably ever.
It was so fun, wholesome, uncomplicated, cute, and pure from start to finish. It did not lose it's spark or charm throughout the show. Never a dull moment.
Main characters didn't feel shallow or empty. Learning about them made me love the show even more and care about them. It added to the depth of their bond and relationship. This is my fave modern fairytale lol
Wholeheartedly, I love this show so much. This is just what I needed to bring me back into the thai BL scene after losing interest for a while.
(Also, Pond was the PERFECT choice for this role. He killed it. Phuwin also did soooo well playing the character of Peach. And ofc Est killed it. Everything about this show from cast to production to storywriting was great!)
Ok, so, the whole cousin thing. So originally Seo Jeonghan thought they were blood related cousins, right? His…
OH and dont get me started on the Seo Jeongin wanting to HAVE A THREESOME WITH JEONGHAN AND ILJO (his blood cousin and half-brother, as far as he's aware)!!! LIKE??? Why is incest so normalized in this drama?? I'm lost
Ok, mixed feeling about this one. Watched for submissive Jisung, stayed for submissive Jisung until like ep 4…
Ok, so, the whole cousin thing.
So originally Seo Jeonghan thought they were blood related cousins, right? His dad and Iljo's dad are brothers.
Later Jeonghan find out that Iljo is adopted. So my issue/problem/question(?) is, was Jeonghan totally cool with fucking and dating his cousin this whole time, not knowing they weren't related??
He thought, oh both our dads are brothers, and we are first cousins, but we're gonna fuk and suk? I'm...
Listen, I get that lots of cultures do normalize cousin marriage, etc. But Korea is NOT one of thsoe countries. Even up until a few decades ago, people with the same last name would avoid getting married (Kim avoiding marrying another Kim) because they were worried they'd be related way back in the day.
So, it's def not Korean culture that's cool with it. Can anyone tell me if I'm just supposed to accept it fiction or is there something I'm missing that was mentioned in the novel that made Jeonghan think it was cool to be doing that with Iljo?
Ok, mixed feeling about this one. Watched for submissive Jisung, stayed for submissive Jisung until like ep 4 or 5 and then only stayed bc I needed to figure out HOW they were gonna fix the whole cousin plot-line. Speaking of, I have some qualms with that whole trope.
It may contain spoilers so I will comment it below. If people wanna join the discourse, please do so. I need someone to talk to about this lol
I feel like for the longest period of time we have not seen a good, high-quality friends-to-enemies-to-friends-to-lovers,…
I was about to say the same thing like it's been a WHILE since I've seen a GMMTV BL that's been this fun. I mean I loved "We Are" enemies to lovers but still, this had me hooked when so many other BLs failed.
Bro looks a bit older than his age, I swear I thought he was born 1994 not 2004 T_T but anyways, he's a good actor. Hope to see him in more leading (hopefully BL) roles.
I will say, Dunk's acting improved sooo much though and I hope to see him in more serious roles like these. It suits him sooo much! Overall, actors did great. Writer should go back to a creative writing class because this isn't it.

100000/10
The VISUALS tho omg i just feel so refreshed looking at the beautiful landscape (and the actors).
Underrated!
if you're looking for manipulation but fun, Revenged Love
C-BLs love their manipulation plots
