Esp coming from Watcha after "Semantic Error"....... what a disappointment indeed! Expected better from them
umm?? Semantic Error is one my fave shows ever! What are you talking about? I'm saying I'm disappointed with Watcha cuz after they gave us a master piece like Semantic Error, the BL that took over Korea, they gave us this queerbait nonsense.
Noey's feelings towards Thi is supposed to be a bit confusing as he is hot & cold with him even in the novel.…
lol yeah those scenes solidified it for me too but then he talked about Pam and Thi started helping him out so that's when I got scared lmao the trauma from past Korean Queer bait dramas is real 😂
Ok, I get why they don't look exactly like they do in the web novel since they are real, live people, BUT I don't…
I was literally wondering the same thing.... like I've never seen the webtoon/manhwa for it but I was like aint no way that's the art from the Manhwa... it was NOT it!
ASIANS & VIRGINITYWas anyone else struck by Seung Hyun being a virgin at 29? I watch a lot of East Asian cinema…
I mean... I'm Asian and much of Asia is very conservative. While I'm not East Asian (I'm south Asian), I've lived in Korea myself and yes, it's very common for people in their late 20s to have never done stuff like that, esp if they've been busy with school. Eastern cultures don't like to talk about sex and that stuff, and it's heavily looked down upon to do anything before marriage. Many cultures, it's shunned, unliket he west. That has to do with religious influences that seep into cultural values. Anyways, not EVERYONE in East Asia is virgin in their late 20s, but many probably are.
I grew up in the west (US) but in a very predominately Asian/African area and most of my friends (religious or not) have not dated or done anything until their late twenties (or when they got married). We just grew up not feeling that pressure that I've heard of that's prevelant in the west about losing ur V card. I guess probably cuz I'm in that very conservative bubble.
Honestly I agree with both sides on this one... It's both slow af and confusing at times what Noey is feeling towards Thi (until like 2nd half of ep 7), but also it's a very fun show to watch and I can't stop watching bc of the chemistry and actors doing a phenomenal job!
At one point in ep 7 I was like istg this better not be a BL turned bromance cuz I've been duped in the past (ahem Love In Spring ahem). So glad that turned around quick tho.
Hoping Ep 8 and onwards it starts picking up~ Can't wait!
It's supposed to be a fun and cute, comedic show so I'm totally digging it! The gang is funny too, it honestly feels like I'm watching a kdrama more than a thai drama in the way the characters are set up but maybe just me.
I dont understand how such a disjointed and badly written script can get such a high budget and great talent... come on... the cast deserves better than this shit show lol
This show gets a 10/10 from me, solely because of Khaothung and First and the supporting actors! Seriously, the…
Ok, whoever wrote this... can you please go back to school and learn how to write a story. If I wrote this for my class in highschool or uni, I would've gotten a C+ if i was lucky...
Come on... the hype and build up to the climax, only for the resolution to be shallow and disappointing, with the parties invovled not getting justice/punishment... Oh and the Chadok dating the uncle plot twist felt like it was there to give Chadok a pass and let him off easy like no, wtf is that BS?? nothing made sense tbh, I would not have continued this show had it not been for the cast literally carrying it on their backs.

Just finished! SOOOO cute! Sure, we could do without the cliche kdrama tropes but isn't that what we all wanted? A kdrama but BL? And it's what they gave so I'm not complaining! The ending was sooo cute too I was pleasantly surprised~ i want moreeeee T_T
I think people always downrate series that are short. I'm not sure why - I'd rather watch a short good series…
I agree, although Don't Say No tried to have a plot lol Another prime example is Love In the Air or Cutie Pie. Like it started off with a plot but it kinda fizzled out and was shitty once the couple got together.

Yeah I agree with you. For fanservice, I meant giving fans all these intimate scenes to distract them from the fact that there's no real plot. I don't mind shows with physical intimacy, ofc. I think a great example would be KinnPorsche, which had both an interesting plot and physical intimacy.
The problem with many BL shows I've seen recently is that they rely on the physical intimacy as the core of the show, which is what they think the fans want. Which, sure, we do, but we also want plot to go with it...
The fact that BLs like Ai Long Nhai and Love in the Air have higher ratings than this show, which actually has a plot and good production/acting.... so upsetting fr I guess all dramas need is fanservice to win over the majority smh
I really like the slow burn and the chemistry... idc what anyone else says! The actors and crew are doing a great job and the last scene of ep 6 gave me major butterflies~
All i see is praise and a great rating but I really can't get past the first few episodes bc of how arrogant, rude, and annoying Diao is... Can someone please tell me if this is gonna improve or not bc I can't stand him T_T
bruh what's wrong with the rating?? This is such a fun drama already and it's giving us the Kdrama fantasy but BL. It's what we've always wanted so now what's the issue? The actors have improved significantly as well and I'm digging the slow progression. It was a fun few episodes, can't wait for more!!

Anyways, looking forward to more episodes

As for the plot, I'll list it under spoilers
