Giving this drama an 8.5 based off one episode says a couple of things, the ratings aren't legit, and people are scoring it due to them having biases. Why not wait until the drama is over and rate it accordingly? I have lots of favorite korean actors, but just because they're in a drama, doesn't always mean the drama is good. Now this first episode was not good. Something seems off. One thing, romcoms isn't actress IU strong lane. I love her acting, and this isn't it. Byron Wooseok acting isn't good at all. There's no chemistry between them. I just don't know at this point. To be fair, I'm going to give it another shot to see if it was only the first episode, or it's just not giving for me

Here we go again. A perfectly imperfect drama that had a lot of potential, but the writers failed again. All through greek mythology, it is believed that Siren's are dangerous bird like creatures that would sing and lured sailors to their deaths. Now with this drama, they could have made Park Ming Young character alluring, sexy, and most of all dangerous, but no, they opted for a character that's a pretty woman, but nothing dangerous about her at all. What, the way she stared at men? There was nothing about this drama that matched the title. Wi Ha Joon character was so ridiculous. The way he fell head over heels, and there actually was not chemistry between them. He kept stalking her, in her face constantly. I can honestly say I did not like his character. I think he need to choose better scripts. Park Min Young has what it takes to play an actual SIren. No, they didn't have to make her a creature, but it would have been nice if she did turn into a creature because a Siren is half woman, half creature. They missed the mark on this one. A drama that could have been amazing, and all due to the writers not willing to go a different route, we get the same thing, a man, a woman, trapped in trauma, and they find each other. So many disappointing dramas this year, and we are just now in the month of April. It just baffles me that korean writers go only so far, and that's why we get the same stories, different characters, in these melodramas and romcoms. Overall, I did finish this drama, barely, and I did a lot of skip through. It just wasn't interesting enough for me to watch in it's entirety. I just wish it was darker, intense, fantasy, having the Siren appear as a creature, and live up to the Greek mythology that we all know. Now I seem to always have to make a disclaimer due to strange, people getting upset, and mad because I didn't like the drama. If this is you, do not reply to me with ignorance because I will block you. People have a right to like or dislike a drama, and if that's something anyone have an issue with, take it up with someone else

If she planned to sleep with him in her room, tell me why did she tell him bye, and walked out the elevator? He had to pull her back in, and that's when he told her he wanted to sleep with her. If that was her plan, and knew that her friend wasn't going to be in the room, why did she call it a night?

This drama is the ultimate childish drama. This episode was so silly. The FL
pisses me off so bad! If you're boyfriend and girlfriend, what's wrong with intimacy? She ask him, I didn't know you got a room at the hotel". Girl!!!!! that's your man! read the damn room, or elevator. They remind me of middle school kids. Scared to tell her mom she's dating and have an actual man. I'm about to drop this mess. Korean people have sex. Why do these writers write these stories like they don't. They hardly kiss, mostly hugging and a kiss on the cheeks. Now I'm not saying they have to be all naked and all of that, but at least kiss more. This is not reality on how they're acting. Another thing about the Male and Female lead, it seems that they have to search their minds on what to say. Their conversations doesn't flow at all, also they honestly have no chemistry.

This drama is so good. Don't care about the low ratings because on this site, we all know what most people tend to navigate to. If you're not watching give it a chance.

As a big fan of JinYOUNG from GOT7 to his acting, I make sure to watch all of his dramas and movies because he is definitely a great actor. However, the past 2 dramas that he was in, The Witch, and this one is really grinding my nerves. I love melodramas, I really prefer them than romcoms to be honest, but this drama is so slow and silly, I just want to stop watching, but it ends next week so might as well continue. The character that I can't stand is the FL. She's so damn stupid!!! she breaks up with ML for no apparent reason, dates the other guy for 3 months, knowing that she still loves the ML, she doesn't tell the ML the entire story involving the other guy, and she basically lies, continuing to hurt the ML feelings. Now the ML is a simp. Yes the character is a big simp. There's no way I would continue to go back and pine after someone for all of these years!! He won't date anyone else, he just keeps waiting for her, no life, no friends but one, and it just doesn't make sense. She's not worth i. She doesn't know what she wants to do in her life or relationship. She keeps him upset, and always wondering. Being in love isn't suppose to hurt, it's suppose to make both people happy, and this isn't a happy relationship. Instead of her speaking to her step mom about her dad, she chooses to ignore her. We still don't know how her dad died, and what happened. The story just drags, and drags with nothing different happening. Each week the same thing. I do hope when JinYoung do his next drama, hopefully he will step away from the melodrama, and do a thriller, something evil, monsters, gangsters, and no, not a romcom. Sick of romcoms as well because some of those that are out now is just terrible

So far I think it's only the FL dating 2 guys.I haven't seen anything in the drama that indicated the 2 males are dating other people.

But why should he transform his image? he's an actor, and actors act. Whether he plays the worst villian or the best romantic, he should never have to change or apologize for the parts that he plays in dramas. I think that it's so weird that people actually get mad at the actor, when they're just playing the character. I am a fan of his and whatever he role he takes on and chooses to play, I will watch it. Actors should go outside the box and be more adventurous in choosing their parts. Who wants to stay stuck playing in a romcom all the time? An actor should stretch their abilities and take chances. To know this man was hated on because of Queen of Tears was crazy. It just shows he has a range, and he can switch up, and that he's a good actor.

Yes you can. I am an American and I don't drink or smoke. Never have. I lived in Korea for 7 years, and I refused to go and drink. My wishes were respected. They honestly drink this way. I think maybe the kdramas makes it more excessive, but the heavy drinking, falling over, being so inebriated you don't know where you are? That's a negative for me, and they love putting it in dramas as if it looks good. It's not a good look

Why do writers continuously write these stories to where the actors characters act like kids? They're timid, and it's just weird. The FL makes me sick. The character, not the actress. They have her acting kiddish, her mom treats her like a child telling her not to stay out or overnight? She's in her thirties!!!!! Honestly, she should be on her own. The FL dresses like an old woman, the outfits look like something a 80 year old would wear. I just don't understand why they wrote her character this way. Also, nothing wrong with dating one or more guys, and no dating doesn't mean you're sleeping with each person. Both guys are cool, it's just the ML seems boring and not adventurous, but the SML seems exciting and knows more about life. We all know she's going to pick the ML, which she did, and as usual, the SML leaves empty handed. Sometimes I wish they would change how they write these dramas. Never thinking outside the box, no creativity, just the same old story each and everyime. It really gets old

Develop? evidently she already has one. Comments don't cause eating disorders. There's not one factor that causes it but it could be behavioral, psychological reasons, or societal trying to live up to a certain image. She looks emaciated, not slim and healthy.

Definitely love your synopsis. Honestly this being a kdrama? We already know who she's going to end up with, the ML of course. I do sometimes wish writers would change it up, and let the FL end up with the SML for once. Give us something unexpected. Makes it more interesting

I agree with you whole heartedly. Some people in this world would rather gravel in self doubt, being mad at the world, and then come on here and attack everyone. Some of these dramas aren't good. I have dropped so many, I can't even count.

Watched up to the 3rd episode, didn't like the drama. Nothing against the actors, just not my cup of tea. Now, it's really ashamed that I have to say this but THIS IS MY OPINION. I grew up having one like everyone else, so please don't respond with the same old bullshit that I'm a hater because I don't like the drama and you did. There's no reason to hate on actors, because I'm not an actor so where would hating get me? Please make it make sense. I think I might leave this platform because I have never in my life experienced immature, small minded people that actually get mad when you don't like a drama they like!!! This is so beyond crazy and disturbing!!! What is wrong with some of you and your mentality? You can't have a positive conversation on this platform, you can't agree to disagree on this platform. It's just a place where some people who don't either have a life or just miserable in their lives that want to argue back and forth about a drama. Just overall weird

Hypothetical......I love ballet, but you don't, does that make you a hater, or a person that just doesn't care for ballet? The drama is mid. I could hardly sit through the 3rd episode. Tell me why would anyone hate on these actors? The mentality of people that think like you is disturbing and sickening. To expect everyone to like some of these senseless and stupid dramas, you have to be bat shit crazy. Get over yourself .If you liked it, more power to you. Who cares!!!! I don't .

When will the lies stop and the truth is being told? She lost weight for 3 dramas and now we are to believe she's doing it for the dramas? This woman is bat shit crazy!!!! What did she do out of these 3 roles that needed her to lose weight? She either has body dysmorphia, or something else is going on. She looks emaciated. This doesn't look good. The same shit happening here in the states in Hollywood where the actresses are extremely thin. That's not healthy. I don't care what anyone says. She can keep lying to the public all she wants, but it makes her look foolish. She's had tons of surgery, and now she's just thin as ever. Ariane Grande, Cynthia Ervio, Emma Stone, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne, and my God, Demi Moore look like she's about to fall over. Ozempic and Wachovy has seem to be taken over Korea as well.

What a bittersweet movie. It broke my heart. He truly loved her for herself, what's inside, and she loved him just as much. Looks and being a fake mean person doesn't guarantee love, but what they had was real which was true love.
I do have a question.....anyone know the name of the instrumental song that was playing when they were kissing at the bus stop in the snow? music was so beautiful.
