I watched maybe 2 episodes of King the Land, then I dropped it because honestly Junho and Yoona have never been in my list of the actors that I gravitate to watch. Not that I don't like them, but I am not drawn to them. I did watch Bon Appetit with Yoona, and I really liked that drama.

I have to say that this drama started off pretty strong, but then the repetitiveness each week was really hitting a nerve. While I understand the story was based on the IMF crisis, the same thing happening each week became boring, but still I wanted to continue watching . It's not a bad drama, it's not a great drama, but it was a decent drama to watch overall. I wasn't going to watch it at first because it just didn't speak to me, to have enough interest to watch, but I wanted to give it a chance. I think all of the actors did a great job. Now I do have a concern that pisses me off. The nasty comments about the FL Kim Min Ha. To read that people had an issue with her looks baffles me to the core. She's a beautiful woman, and I love her freckles. I think it's sad that in Korea, everyone is supposed to look the same. I'm glad that she looked like a regular woman, instead of a surgical enhanced actress. Nothing is wrong with her at all. Also, when she was in Pachinko, people loved her, but as soon as she made a drama with Junho, some people became really weird. Comparing her to Yoona, which is so ignorant and immature. These people are actors, and whether he has a relationship with Yoona outside of the acting realm, that's their private life, but comparing Min Ha to Yoona was just dumb. Just wanted to add my 2 cents in in regards to the actress. Hope to see her in many more dramas to come

Yet again, another good drama rated low because of what? This was an older cast? Not anyone's favorite actor? I don't care how old the actors are because if it's good I will watch. I think that this story was about a slice of life. About a man that had so much pride that he couldn't let go of what he thought and felt his life should be even when he was treated unfairly. To get up and go to a top corporate job, still not reaping the benefits, but letting everyone make an ass out of him just so he can appear to be living the good life. There are people like this in real life. Pride will not let them see the true reality of what's going on, but just to look and sound good to the outside world, that's all that matters. I truly loved this drama. The ups and downs, trials and tribulations, and finally, the learning curve. You would think some people that are older, as the character portrayed in this drama, would already know how to deal with things head on. This drama goes to show you no matter your age, some people still have a lot of learning about life to do. So sad that not enough people paid attention to this drama. I am no where near the age of most of the actors in this drama, but I still loved watching it regardless if they were 20 or 85. I have to also say the OST was so beautiful. I could listen to this music all day. Kudos to all of the actors, writers, producers and directors that brought us this little gem of a story.

Seems like he just disappeared. I am noticing this happening a lot with some of the actors. He hasn't been in anything since 2022 or 2023. Such a great actor. So glad that I was able to see him in TAXI SEASON 3. Hope after this he will be in more dramas.

This young lady has grown into her acting, and starting off as a child actor, then to adulthood has to be hard. I know here in the states, it's sometimes hard for child actors to have that smooth transformation, because a lot of them end up on drugs, and doing everything else. I am quite sure she's had a lot emotional distress, I mean how could she not? I think also child actors need to have their parents on deck and therapist when filming dramas that are dealing with intense emotions, and evilness. Korea really need to do better in taking care of their celebrities over all in regards to mental health. That should be a major concern there. I'm glad she took this role because it shows depth and range, and going outside the box. I wish a lot of the actors would do that and stop pigeon holding themselves because they are so worried about what the public would think. The job is acting, and sometimes that will require different things.

How do you know the parents did nothing? I can ask you the same thing, were you there? The fact remains he still dated a little girl and he was a man. Support him all you want, that says a lot about you. It's sad that you are so blinded by this creep that you could careless this actress took her own life, and laying the blame on her parents is crazy. Just because he's an actor and you think he's like the roles he plays is beyond crazy. I will no longer watch anything he's in.

I can get with what you're saying, however through the synopsis, we already knew she was going to be dealing with these weird men. Her husband is a psycho, and she's a sociopath. They act on impulse so her investigating after the fact fits her character. I admit, right now it seems everyone is all over the place, and yes the drama has lost a little bit of direction. I always sat, you can tell a good writer and creator if they know how to stay on course. I find staying off course is a regular for kdramas. Excitement at the beginning, middle starts to waver, and the ending turns to shit. I am hoping the ending will make sense and not be stupid.

But you have to understand, this is your opinion. You liked it. Nothing is wrong with that. However I didn't. Doesn't make me a bad person or a negative person. It just wasn't my cup of tea. I agree that this site can be really aggressive and crazy, but I can say I don't fit that mode. Whether I like a drama or not, I try to be fair and give my reasons, and I do give dramas a chance. I will sit and watch at least 4 episodes, sometimes maybe a little more, and if it's not for me, I will drop it. I think opinions are individualized, and everyone isn't going t like the same thing. You might get 10 people to like something, but then you might have 6 that didn't. What I don't get, when it's a romcom, and people don't like it, people seem to get upset. Not you, your comment was nice, it's just some people, on this site get bent out of shape.

I tried watching this drama and did not like it. I keep reading that the ratings are extremely high for this drama, where, in Korea, or globally? I'm just sick of the same type drama. Same type romcoms, everything is the same. I for one am a lover of love stories, intense love, and everything that goes with it, but I just can't continue to watch the silliness of some of these romcoms. Choi Woo Shik to me is better in thrillers, horror, dramas that are off beat. Jung So Min is a good actress, and it seems that's all she's been in lately, these little sily romcoms. She's a much better actress than that. With these romcoms, they, the writers need to change it up some. Always we met when we was little, or there's trauma when they were in high school, or the girl need to be rescued by the boy type shit. Where is the creativity? From where I'm sitting there seems to be none. Are the writers not able to think outside the box? Are they censored? What is going on?? Whatever rating this drama received even it's really high?? That's really crazy to me.

This drama is damn good!!!!! Kept me on my feet, and it's so intense and exciting!!!! Also a great cast

I took international studies in college so I know a little about the IMF crisis. While I understand your frustration, it could be lack of knowledge of why some people aren't responding to this drama in a way you think they should. Maybe some people just can't relate to the story. That is a realistic part of watching dramas. Don't let what people say upset you because at the end of the day we all have opinions whether good or bad, and opinions should be respected.

I like the drama but the issue I'm having is can they ever catch a break? Damn!!! every 40 business days they have an issue. This is in every episode. I understand the crisis and what's going on, but they need a break.
