Just watched it and you know what, this is the first time when I was so sad and mad at the character I really…
First, when it comes to Korn saying 'it was just sex' . . . based on his personality I'd say he meant that he had no romantic love for the person and felt deprived sexually (and maybe even emotionally) because Knock was being distant. Couples need to be on the same page. It's not as if Korn went off looking for a release out of desperation. It kind of happened, in part, because the boss was manipulating the situation. Korn messed up. I'm not trying to say it is okay what he did, but one fail does not turn a good person into a shit of a human being. Especially if it wasn't done in a meanspirited purposeful way. He obviously felt horrible about it after he did the deed without thinking. Korn probably meant that he let himself get pulled into having sex, but at the end of the day it wasn't worth it and meant nothing. His love is still and was always with Knock. End of story. There is no way he just thought of sex as sex in the past (in most situations). That part about him wouldn't change without any traumatic event either. I'm of course not saying he had actually feelings for the boss. Temptation you don't even want does happen unfortunately.
Oh, and he has pushed someone away before . . . so he definitely isn't normally weak to someone coming on to him. Which would further point to the fact that he was unhappy and Knock wasn't really trying to help their dynamic despite the talks they had. I'm not blaming Knock of course. At the end of the day Korn made the choice. I'm just pointing out the fact that there was more going on than what you seemed to focus on.

Personally, I don't agree with the 'once a cheater always a cheater'. Life isn't so black and white. Not to mention the fact that Knock was a player at the beginning in the first place (not in this show but the first). Now you can technically just call them both forever cheaters if you take the 'once a cheater always one' logic.

Title Bad Buddy
YESSS BAD BUDDY at #12 most popular Thai drama on MDL!! It can EASILY get to #9 within a couple weeks I know it.…
Are you talking about the order listed when searching for Thai specific most popular shows?
I feel like it is lower on the list because most of the other ones have been out for years. That and the fact that it seems like some people don't watch Bad Buddy because it appears to be overhyped for such a 'not so interesting/different' sounding story. I don't know how many times I've heard someone say 'I was hesitant to watch because . . .'

Just realised this during my nth rewatch, In EP2, the food orders for Pat and Pran (Pran ordered Fried Chicken…
I think Pat ordered chicken and salad. It'd be weird if the delivery guy put two orders in one bag after all. Especially since he probably didn't realize the salad was given to the wrong person until Pat called to inquire about his salad. Pran had tons of time to eat everything so the mix up wasn't found out immediately.

Ohm just didn't have to eat anything for that scene. Winning. haha

I'd prefer it to be a balancing of luck as well.Sometimes it's nice to have the fluff ultimate green flags in…
Or we can just get better at learning the language and never have to use subtitles again. hahahaaa

Translations for anything is never completely correct in my opinion. Partly because of how different cultures tell jokes or have like quotes that are unique to their country. It can be easy to miss certain references--at the very least. I try not to put too much weight on the translations.

Side note about the phone . . . it doesn't alert me as to where you replied. Only that you replied. I had this happen with someone else before so I know it's because they were responding on their phone. Luckily I knew what show they were commenting under. I'm not usually watching and commenting under a billion at one time, but I figured I'd let you know just so you don't think someone is ignoring you when it's probably an accident. haha

I don't care if there's no plot in it. You watch these emotional gems with your heart, not your brain. So please,…
I'd prefer it to be a balancing of luck as well.

Sometimes it's nice to have the fluff ultimate green flags in fiction. No real stress. Just cuteness. haha

Yeah, I noticed they translated the first names when the last names are always being used and I was like ??? Since switching to first name basis is a big step normally. I got over it though. Was a bit weird at first for sure.

I personally like analyzing, but even if it's not really fleshed out during the show I'm fine. It's not like how they got their luck status really matters within the confides of the story. I mean since it is a romcom--not a mystery.

I mean really . . . what more do you need? A nice level of cute and funny~

So i would love to hear people's thoughts so far!1) Do you think Shinomiya is aware of Kouta's bad luck? Or at…
1. I'm unsure about Shinomiya knowing. I thought he might have an idea until the Rui incident, but maybe he was just surprised at failing for once more than anything. It seems he is likely to connect the dots regardless. I thought he was in the first two episodes, but the Rui situation through me off. Since he seemed a bit perplexed.
Fukuhara has to be giving Shinomiya a break he needs, but it is possible he hasn't noticed it much because he is with his crush and focusing on spending time with him. It depends on how much Shinomiya is actually thinking about the luck thing. The Rui incident shoved it in his face for sure though.
1.2 I got the impression Shinomiya liked Fukuhara before the show started because of the scene when Fukuhara walked by as the girls surrounding the other were talking about confessing to crushes. Either we just don't know where Shinomiya might have seen him before or he was pulled in during that moment. I had assumed it had nothing to do with the luck situation, but it is possible it could if they are connected in the past and it is directly related to their bad/good luck.

2. I first thought it'd just balance each other out. Currently, it showed a balance with the keychains. I'd like it to stay fairly balanced as if they are helping each other. At the same time, it might make one of them (if this was more like a realistic relationship) want to stay in the relationship even after it turns sour. Not saying that would happen in the show, but haha It could bring doubt to the situation. After all, Fukuhara did start it to help himself so he can't even deny that being the case if the conversation happened. Even if he was to point out it's not the case now--some people might still wonder. The reverse could happen as well. Fukuhara could find out Shinomiya knows and assume he was just nice to him because he felt bad . . . and also was using him to take breaks.
I guess my point is that there can be conflict without the luck-switching. Fukuhara already feels bad about stealing his luck in the way he is--so it's not as if making him suck it all away is technically needed. It'd be a sad ending if that happens. Most likely Fukuhara would want to leave Shinomiya in order to return things to the way they were. Or they could just regulate time spent together--maybe. haha

I wonder if Kouta's bad luck/curse it's actually a horrible consequence of Naoya's good luck. Kouta's first intention…
That's an interesting idea. The only issue is he would have had to affected Kouta's life since he was little--and I'm assuming, even if they met before, they weren't always going to the same school or close enough.
With that said, at the beginning when the girls were asking Naoya if he ever told his crush he liked them Kouta looked at him as he walked by. The way he watched him walk by with what the others were saying made me think Naoya noticed him before and already had a crush. The viewers just wouldn't know when/why that happen. Hence why he has always been observant when it came to Kouta. So it's possible even in that moment his luck made his crush look at him . . . and the flood happened because he wanted his crush to come over. Kind of like wishes not going exactly how you intended--when talking about the flooding. I feel like your theory could be true for specific situations like this, but probably not his whole life.

As far as Naoya knowing about the bad luck--I agree. I just don't know when he might have figured it out for sure. I was more sure he had an idea after the second episode, but with the incident of Rui in the third one he seemed more perplexed than I'd expect. Almost as if he wasn't thinking about how his luck was inherently different--maybe because he was so focused on time spent with Kouta. Or he just didn't think it'd be such a drastic change. haha

Right? I mean I don't have that personality at all and I've only watched the first two episodes, but I see plenty…
No, I think I get what you mean.
I use shows to distract me or make me laugh when I'm not as cheery as normal. It's rare for me to want to shut off my brain though. I think because it makes me feel like I'm wasting away or something. I believe I'm the type of person that needs to feel some sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. Knowing I can learn from any experience--I probably want to pay attention when watching. You can learn things from anything or anyone really. haha Otherwise I guess I'd feel lazy--and I don't like that feeling. Binge watching can turn into feeling lazy regardless though. It doesn't matter how mentally in the show I am if I watched a billion hours in one day. Not the best use of time I'd say.
With that said, you might be the type who needs to "shut off" and be a bit lazy--and that's okay. Moderation is key most of the time. haha

I actually zone out more when being active . . . haha

More stuff happens in the third episode that adds to your theory, like how Shinomiya didn’t win the grand prize…
Oh, I haven't been able to watch the third episode yet. The one time he probably wanted to win the prize and he didn't. haha

I didn't think he'd distance himself from Fukuhara because I felt like he'd like not being super lucky all the time. It's not like he gave off a vibe that it was annoying for him, but definitely not something he was glad about either. I mean if being around Fukuhara makes it so he isn't bombarded my people who are infatuated with him I think that alone is a bonus. I mean especially if he is 100% gay and is mostly surrounded by females. haha
With all that said, it is possible Shinomiya will realize that Fukuhara actually just wanted not to have shitty luck anymore and didn't want to actually date. I can't imagine how heartbreaking that'd be seeing has he seems to have liked him the whole time. So he might pull away. Meanwhile Fukuhara would probably have solid feelings by then. Lolz

I mean you might be right about the spoon-fed thing. Wait, did you just admit to needing to be spoon-fed? If that's so I'm proud of you. One step closer to possibly being able to see more than what seems to be thrown in your face. haha
I tend to be pretty observant and seem to be able to place myself in others shoes quite easily. I can only imagine how hard it would be for someone who has trouble with relating to things they aren't personally used to. But that's what learning is all about, right? Kind of. haha Trying to grow into a better you and understand the world around you. Something like that.
Why am I getting all life couch motivational speaker like suddenly? Haha Sorry.
