Namo has been present and missing throughout the series. It's interesting how they gave him importance despite that. As in he doesnt feel flat.

It's possible. He might have just wanted to use Akk to seriously look around for once. The key question could be more of a chance to see who could possibly open it. If the head perfect can't open any others than a higher up had to be involved.

Yeah, I dont know why I feel uncertain about that. I know something like that can be real important. Chadok could even be using that to control him manipulation wise. He definitely seems to care about it in other episodes, but I don't know what is making me question from this episode. I don't like to assume and I know how bad manipulation can change a person. I suppose it's partly that. Haha I wouldn't say he is uncaring about the scholarship. It's more a question on how important is it to him without any manipulating going on. I guess. Which could be just as important as it may seem. If it is one of the ways Chadok is manipulating him in the first place. I'm talking in circles now. haha

Ooohhhh yeah that does happen and its lame...but I wasn't thinking Mes would have that kind of influence. Just an easier way to get him started in cult land. Whether it was just admiration or not.

On a related note to my first response, I know his scholarship seems important to him...but at the same time I question how important. I feel like his brain is confused and we might not know what he actually wants. Thus, I can't tell how selfish he is actually being or how much of it is influenced. Not that it excuses anything. Not saying he isn't an uncaring selfish little shit in reality. It's just hard to pin down who he was before and who he actually wants to be because we don't know how manipulated or brainwashed he actually is.

Oh yeah...he knows what he is doing. How do I explain...the severity, at least consiously, can be a denial situation. If he is generally a good person he would have to have some level of dissociation or disconnect from the reality of his actions. Which you mentioned. It's not bad or dangerous because it's for the greater good. He isn't hurting anyone he is saving them. Which is how he might be thinking. It won't be until it is shoved in his face with blood on his hands that it will truly sink in. Without help from an outside force. Is more of what I'm thinking. Also, brainwash cult wise...they can reel in the logical and emotional. It's just handled in different ways. Being smart means nothing in a cult when manipulated.

I forgot to add...I didn't notice anything weird about Sani. She seemed to want to get info about the boys investigation wise while also thinking Wats passion was endearing or something.

Yeah, I saw admiration (this episode) like you did...but to me it could have been a crush as well. I'd actually like it to be a crush because characters having more than one true interest in their life, is more realistic.

I don't think Akk even realizes he basically attempted murder...even after Ayan said what he did. It's sad because that probably comes from how they manipulated him to think a certain way. Making priorities messed up.

Which makes him stuck even more into cultdom. He has no one but his crush on Mes and Chadok. Even being around his friends makes him feel bad sometimes when they talk about the rules or curse.
