I thot I was the only one thinking the same thing. A man and a woman both in the same room every night and day…
They state it very quickly but basically after the desert her body was so impacted that she wasnt healthy enough to risk pregnancy. So from the point they confirmed their marriage they couldnt consummate it due to her health
At first it was a slice of life romcom, then it turned dark into a murder thriller, then back to a gritty melodrama…
If you ever have a chance read the book. Each arc is a different genre but the whole thing is cohesive. They just sped through so much and still skipped half the arcs. It works but the tonal issues you describe are because of that.
This drama is not making sense, the father is certain this scrawny girl killed his son and does not even consider…
He’s convinced the ML planted that to get her off because that is what he (the dad) would have done. He’s so corrupt he doesnt trust evidence. And yes, he’s insane. He gets his.
This is definitely one of those dramas that highlights how subjective things like actor chemistry, plot development and writing are when it comes to audience enjoyment.
I loved everything. It was a lot of fun for me and I 100% invested in all the different pairings and affection displayed. Especially our main leads.
Obviously, not everyone responded the same way so this drama will probably be a gamble for anyone watching it.
I'm trying to rewatch after dropping it once but it's so hard to bear FL's overacting. She always reacts like…
She got typecast for playing soft spoken kind of neurotic characters. This script kind of plays into that and mocks it. Definitely recommend trying it out to the end. If you don't like her in this after that, you are probably better off watching her action only movies. Of which she has very few…
She is worse here imo. In original version she never brought up (blamed) the sister's death after that one time…
Yeah. In the original she actually regretted she said that and knowing that represented how bad a mother she was fed into her insecurity about him leaving. I think this version may have missed that.
why did Yeon Joo's dad want to k*ll Kang Chul so much? please do not answer by give it in detail, just a summary
Same reason Sir Arthur Conan Doyle killed off Sherlock Holmes. He was tired of the story. And he wasn't able to adequately end it. Paired with his drinking, depression, lack of control in the face of those two things and the fact Kang Chul was actually alive and wouldn't accept a badly written ending which should have been impossible, he has a full psychotic break.
She already decided the solution is breaking up. So everything she is doing is from the position of trying to…
I do agree sometimes the break up as the present timeline is overshadowing those flashbacks of what their comfortable normal relationship was like.
My ideal development would be for her to realize that her normal happy times with the ML are still possible even in a stressful scenario like not being accepted by his family or having a huge financial background gap. Cause that is what she misses. That feeling of comfort and joy she feels just spending time with him. And they still have that. The show does show it. The problem is she’s devaluing that feeling right now thinking that is the right choice instead of protecting it. Which is what I hope she learns to do. Protect what brings her joy instead of accepting her life and responsibilities mean she wont have joy.
As for the ML, he is being clingy. But I dont find it annoying because he’s grappling with if his feelings (the comfort, joy and safety he felt with the FL) give him the right to make her uncomfortable. Despite how truly reprehensible lying about who he really was is (being a rich chaebol does not excuse excluding your partner from a huge part of what makes you, you) he feels leagues beyond alot of ML’s in drama land in that he is fighting for himself and her. Plus he seems to be on a path to doing it in a healthier way. Hopefully. Time will tell.
What exactly FL doing after break up with ML?. Going on blind dates and getting involved with another man for…
She already decided the solution is breaking up. So everything she is doing is from the position of trying to move on and struggling with figuring out how to do that.
As to why she thinks the solution is to break up…I kind of get it. If you’d been severely abused as a child and worked hard all your adult life to have the type of safety alot of people take for granted, you would become very independent and you would not see having a romantic partner as the end all be all of a “good” life. Her dad definitely proved you need to walk away from unhealthy connection.
So when she was presented with a guy who seemingly could fit with her life and keep that safe simple dream going, it was good. When reality reveals he lied about who he was, his powerful family will cause them stress and her job could be in danger, why would she sacrifice all that she had fought to build for a relationship her life experiences have already proven is nice but not necessary to survive? Obviously, she is going to reassess that by the end of the story (if the story is any good) but she still needs to learn it for herself.
Actually she reacted the same to the ML in the new life when she still thought he was her killer before she found…
I always think the guys taking advantage of scenarios to squeeze or more accurately sexually harass the FL are trash. I do wish this drama had followed the book FLs way of setting boundaries. Drama FL didnt cheat but she also didnt verbalize no very often
Another shitty Cdrama with same ML, FL and 2ML.Same characters, same tropes and same nonsense character building. You…
Actually she reacted the same to the ML in the new life when she still thought he was her killer before she found out heas she did to the 2ndML when she realized h killed her but thought he didnt remember her: she kept thinking this is their innocent past self and told herself to let it go. She was more mad at the ML. Even at the most bitter moments of their former dead marriage they were each other’s ally. As for the letting 2ndML inappropriately manhandle her, the writer always put her in a situation where it kind of made sense but I agree it felt out of character and they focused on the 2nd ML more than felt necessary to tell his part of the story.
My fear is that due to censorship this will all have been a dream and she’s saved from the poison by SRQ but everyone else will be dead including ML because you cant change the past. So by default it'll be her and SRQ at the end together. :(
Ohh and by the way!!!I saw some people got disappointed and dropped the novel because they had the wrong expectations…
Agreed it wasnt really revenge focused but she was always working towards getting near her former family to unravel what happened and than decide what she'd do to them. She was always working towards taking back what was hers under her true name and took revenge as it was convenient or necessary because her crap family was endangering people.
