Despite the ridiculous premise causing some really odd first encounters this show had a really fun natural pacing for their friendship and eventual romance. I would rewatch this just for all of that.

Safety deposit box. Thats where it should be. I will say this actually tracks with our Demon’s character. He’s too lazy to want to have to go very far to find his manual, he’s too arrogant to feel at risk from other people, and he’s too thoughtless cause he knows no one else has ever found it except the butler. Plus he kind of seemed to enjoy playing hide and go seek with the butler. Or maybe I just enjoy that part :-p

Ouch. That does track with common tropes. You may be right. Personally I hope JGY is only from this lifetime and figures out she imprinted on him and moves on. But I do get the “everyone is reincarnated” vibe from alot of these characters.

Totally your right to fund her annoying. I actually found the ML’s assumption that it was okay to move in across the hall and that she should like him despite her clear rejections upsetting. But! The contrariness of both of their characters and the issues it causes their relationship amuse me.

No. There is a guy the FL wanted to marry instead of ML but she didnt love him. She just thought that future would be safe. The bad guy is obsessed with the FL but she never reciprocates.

Yes, very much so for our main leads and everyone alive at the end. It does involve disasters for much of the story so some side characters have sad things happen and die.

Agreed. And just because he now likes her and wants to be with her doesnt mean she needs to ignore the hurt and pain she feels and be with him. She was in the active process of letting go and moving on when he started chasing her. While they didnt date that is emotionally like an ex coming back to harass you post breakup. She’s honestly not as mean as she could be since she isnt actually over him yet. But she also processed his rejection and accepted they wont be together. Part of the way to do that in any break up is focusing on the negatives of the other person. So why should she change her mind just because he changed his? She does change her mind and they work on being upfront in their feelings but I like that she rejected him for a while. Showed she was sincere in moving on unlike a crazy SFL.

Agreed. It balances the unrealistic expectations of her almost four years crushing and fixes the power imbalance that delayed her acting on her feelings for so long.

He didnt lead her on. However, his rejection was harsh and she’s soent alot of years invested in this and the fantasy of what they could be. He clearly didnt like her work. Which broke her heart a little. When he renewed the contract she became sure it was because he had personal feelings otherwise why renew a contract for something he didnt like. After almost four years of insecurity feeling like she didnt measure up to him she finally thought they’d finally grown close and he liked her back. Thats why she reacts so negatively. And yes the kiss could be sexual assault as well as a cathartic one last act to resolve all her feelings . Thus ends her arc as a FL who acts like a crazy SFL. She accepts his rejection and movs on like a healthy person. He’s now the one who will go crazy for a bit when he realizes he does like her and she’s already moved on. I will say this on the creepy stalker behaviors they both display at one point or another: its not okay but neither of them seem hurt or fearful because of it. The drama just seems to use these tactics as a way to show they are so magnetically drawn to each other that it makes them both a bit crazy.

100% The disinterest some of the female characters have in their partners feelings or you know basic consent are not okay. Love the show. Hate the depiction of alot of the woman.

I can appreciate you have a preference in male aesthetics and worry about unhealthy dieting. The first is your right and the second doesnt apply to this actor. However, please be aware your statements about being strong enough to carry and protect a woman are also your preference not a man’s job. Toxic expectations of men are a worse problem than being slim built.
