The simple solution is to just make one page for every season. I understand the urge to split it into 2 pages…
I agree. However, the production company's counting should be followed.
So, if the production company decided to reset the episode count back to e01 even though it is the same Season, it should be followed in a database listing. Otherwise, people searching for it will be confused.
The problem with MDL is they do things without studying it properly.
For example, they used to count “Episode 01 Part 1” and “Episode 01 Part 2” as “Episode 1” and “Episode 2”. I had to argue with them and collect proof that they got it all wrong just to stop them from doing it.
They gave me the reasoning that “Episode 1” and “Episode 2” are what were listed on the official production company's website. When they showed me the episode listing, I showed them proof right from the website that they got it all wrong.
In the case of “Part X” this and “Part X” that, if the production company reset the episode count to e01, then it should be followed. However, if the production company did NOT reset the episode count for “Part 2”, “Part 3”, and so on, then MDL should never do it either; otherwise it will be total chaos.
The safest way is to follow how the production company's counting of the episodes.
For example, there were Netflix shows which had this format (not exact, but you get the idea): * Season 4 episodes 1 to 14 (with a mid-season break after e07) * Season 5 Part 1 episodes 1 to 10 * Season 5 Part 2 episodes 11 to 15 (with a Winter break after e12) * Season 5 Part 3 episodes 16 to 20 * Season 6 episodes 1 to 12
The problem with MDL, the above example would end up this way: * MDL: TITLE 4 Part 1 and Part 2 = Season 4 episodes 1 to 14 (with a mid-season break after e07) * MDL: TITLE 5 Part 1 = Season 5 Part 1 episodes 1 to 10 * MDL: TITLE 5 Part 2 and Part 3 = Season 5 Part 2 episodes 11 to 15 (with a Winter break after e12) * MDL: TITLE 5 Part 4 = Season 5 Part 3 episodes 16 to 20 * MDL: TITLE 6 = Season 6 episodes 1 to 12
Scenario #1: * TITLE episodes 1 to 10 * TITLE Part 2 episodes 11 to 20
MDL should NEVER split it.
Scenario #2: * TITLE episodes 1 to 10 * TITLE Part 2 episodes 1 to 10
MDL CAN split it.
Scenario #3: * Episode 1 Part 1 / Episode 1.1 * Episode 1 Part 2 / Episode 1.2 * Episode 2 Part 1 / Episode 2.1 * Episode 2 Part 2 / Episode 2.2 * Episode 3 Part 1 / Episode 3.1 * Episode 3 Part 2 / Episode 3.2
MDL should count it as a SINGLE episode.
Always remember, a new episode almost always begin with a recap, or showing similar scenes from the previous episode before starting the story of the new episode. And in K-drama, an episode usually ends with a teaser of the next episode.
However, in an episode that was split into Parts 1 and 2, there is no previous at the end of Part 1; and there is no recap at the beginning of Part 2. If that is not enough, the episodes often have an episode number (near the beginning, typically).
Conclusion: Only split if it is supported by the official release, otherwise, do not do anything; worst, splitting it ahead even though we do not know yet if the OFFICIAL source will reset the episode count.
IF the episode count was reset for “Part X”, a proof (like how you ask for proof from us even though it's very obvious already) should be posted (like the gallery) of the show as reference. That's the only way to calm down an erupting volcano; and prevent volcanoes from erupting.
But if the episode count was NOT reset for “Part X”, and you split it, well, you should 2000% expect volcanoes to erupt.
PS Your “15-day gap” rule is very dangerous. More volcanoes will erupt. Have you forgotten that episode delays are a common whenever there are sports events? (Even in the West, it happens.) There are other reasons episodes can be delayed.
By your new rule, you are obligated to split a show into Part 2, Part 3, and so on, if the gap is 15 days or more. A series that gets delayed for 2 weeks is equal to 20 days gap from the last episode.
You just introduced more headaches instead of minimising it. The solution I presented above is far better than the “15-day gap” rule. ^_~

Okay, so it was indeed a game as suspected and it was Se Eun's parents who programmid it and the "AI" Jung Won…
Yep. The AI character was definitely reprogrammed; and the mother, while it's understandable, should indeed not put it on those kids, especially not on her daughter's only friend.
At least based on what she remembered, she had no idea what was going on that day which pushed her daughter to suicide. I give Yooe SEO the benefit of a doubt that she would've stopped Se Eun if she knew what's going on.
But in the end, she took responsibility and the mother took advantage of it and made her Sim life harder.
Even if the mother let the entire class go as a condition of her taking responsibility, at that point, at least the way I see it, it's no longer revenge and/or punishment. She's just trying to fuel her bitterness, finding a target. I seriously doubt her daughter will be happy with that.
Twisted mother. Understandable but it doesn't make her right.
And that tech is far too scary. In a way, they showed us a glimpse into the near future.
1. As I mentioned before, once that watch is returned to the owner, it will start ticking and her life will start…
Could be from the line of her cousin. Or, her parents had another child after she disappeared/died. There are many ways for the line to continue without the FL.
Okay, so it was indeed a game as suspected and it was Se Eun's parents who programmid it and the "AI" Jung Won who learned how to hack it.
I think episode showing Jung Won creating the game was her learning the harsh fate of everyone, and she's continually trying to end the game.
Also, Jung Won seems to be making sure Jae In remembers bits and pieces of the previous games. And in the finale episode, Jae In remembers everything from the previous one, including when she was awakened by Se Eun's parents.
The real question here is this: Did See Eun's mother reprogrammed Jung Won?
When the game reset, Jung Won was sitting far from Jae In. Also, Jung Won looks at Jae In with contempt.
I'm highly suspecting Se Eun's mother changed Jung Won (the AI) and now Jae In will be the one who will suffer the most since she volunteered to take responsibility.
I think that's what She Eun's mother did, she reprogrammed Jung Won to "think" that Jae In is the primary person responsible. Hence, Jung Won was looking at Jae In with contempt.
Even moreso, Jae In remembering everything is an additional layer of "punishment". She will be the only one who will remember the pain, as Se Eun's mother wanted.
mafias need to work together to win tho i hate her but she has no choice
Yes, but she practically listened to the "secret bully". She should've have made back up plans.
For example, the secret bully continued to play "weak" so no one suspects him at all. While she kept on showing her true self to the point that is was obvious (which ironically no one noticed).
In a Mafia game, and similar games before it, the "Mafias" that win are usually the ones who are aware that they can turn against each other, and, the other mafias can't protect other mafias.
It was to her advantage to eliminate the strongest Mafia, since she's the second voice. The weak mafias she can order to murder since she afraid to do it herself. While not being too obvious
The "Police" has the ability to check anyone's identity. I don't know how many "turns" (or nights) before she can reuse her ability (I don't play Mafia itself, but there were similar games like it before), but it's a very useful ability. She probably already checked a lot of them and tried to saved them, but no one believed her.
Now that the remaining Mafias know who is the police, they'll target her. She the greatest risk in revealing who are the remaining Mafias.
Now that they're down to 8 players, and she probably checked the others, the risk is too high for the Mafias to be discovered, even by chance.
He didn't really wasted it. Anyway the kid was supposed to die soon. Here, it's like Death put him in a body back…
But the "game" allows him to change things. He could've endured the bullying and survive. Or, he shouldn't have driven the bully into a corner, offered some peace.
But because he was cocky, he himself opened a new way for him to die. It didn't even have to happen that night, with the bully cornered, he would've had killed him anytime. Basically, his cockiness sealed his fate to die again.
Death knew he'll fail. Death knew he'll create a reason to get himself killed. Frankly, that was an easy one, just don't commit suicide, the reason that kid died. He wasted it

* MDL: TITLE 4 Part 1 and Part 2 = Season 4 episodes 1 to 14 (with a mid-season break after e07)
* MDL: TITLE 5 Part 1 = Season 5 Part 1 episodes 1 to 10
* MDL: TITLE 5 Part 2 and Part 3 = Season 5 Part 2 episodes 11 to 15 (with a Winter break after e12)
* MDL: TITLE 5 Part 4 = Season 5 Part 3 episodes 16 to 20
* MDL: TITLE 6 = Season 6 episodes 1 to 12
Again, my solution stands:
* The ONLY time to split a show in a database listing is IF the episode count resets to ep01.
IF the production company resets the episode count to “Part 2 episode 01”, ONLY then should a show be split in a database listing.
Until we see that Part 2 will begin with episode 01, there is no basis to split a show.
PS, It's not actually “mine” per se. That has been the practice for decades, long before MDL existed. I didn't “invent” anything.
If so, then there is no reason to separate Part 1 and Part 2 into two listings.
The only time it should be separated is if the episode count was reset to e01 by the production company (tving in this case).
"Part 1" and "Part 2" should ONLY be listed separately IF and ONLY IF the episode count was reset back to 1.
Scenario A:
* TITLE episode 1, episode 2, episode 3.
* TITLE Part 2 episode 4, episode 5, episode 6.
Should never be split in a database.
Scenario B:
* TITLE episode 1, episode 2, episode 3.
* TITLE Part 2 episode 1, episode 2, episode 3.
That is the ONLY time the show can be split in a database.
Should be split into Part 2 since the last 2 episodes will be released in 2024.
LMAO.
There is a 20-day gap from the last episode if there's a 2 weeks delay.
That not-really-new rule is a recipe for more “volcanoes to erupt” and more headaches for them.

BEST SOLUTION: Follow the official episode count.
Scenario #1:
