WAIT. Liao is NOT Chinese, the Khitans who founded Liao were a Mongolic people. Neither Goryeo, Jurchens, nor…
Well, that depends which historical record you subscribe to. As far as "accepted" history is concerned, China itself considers Liao/Khitan tribe (even the Mongols) as one of the many Chinese tribes.
:)
It appears that you subscribe to the Han-only Chinese school-of-thought. That's fair, the question of who is Chinese has been debated since before the Song Dynasty (IIRC) but dynasties like Song and latter, continually expanded the definition of "Chinese" until it eventually reached its widest definition (and borders for that matter) during the ROC government.
So, it's just a matter of which school-of-thought you subscribe to as to who is Chinese. Those who supported a wide definition, at least as far history is concerned, are the ones who eventually prevailed. But those who subscribe to a very restrictive definition do still exist to this day.
I loved reading your analysis of the kdrama βGridβ. I would love to read your analysis of this drama
Assuming they're in the real world.
1. The sound they hear is what's controlling their minds. There's a theory how sounds can be attuned to a specific person.
2. There must be speakers around the area, especially near the boundary lines outside. So when they were on the mountain, they still can die.
3. They probably got into an experiment. Some psycho wants to perfect their mind control technology. Or, wants to study how humans react to certain conditions (which you can't just do under normal circumstances). (Actually, there were cases before of government experiments controlling or manipulating small towns to study human behaviour and all other stuff. Supposedly, it is no longer happening today.)
4. The Ghost. The Ghost is playing the game because the only way to return back to life is to have a new class and new survivor to replace them. The retreat center is cursed. There must always be sacrifices. The only way the Ghost can go back to real life is for this new class to finish the game, who in turn will become the next ghost.
5. Or. The ghost was a hallucination. Remember, the sounds can control their minds.
Still, I think the ghost needs a replacement. When the 1FL dreamt she's the only one left, the ghost was after her, as if the ghost made sure she's the last student alive.

Thank you!
Unfortunately, I have nothing for the one. Hehe.
My only analysis is, we're watching a game.
Remember when they were on the bus and Miss Programmer was coding something? At some point she compiled and ran the program, and the camera closed up to the monitor and slowly the scene changed to the road they're taking.
Because of that, I'm suspecting that what we are watching is the program or game she created. At the end of the show, we'll probably see them just arriving rt the school, and then their teacher and the staff of the retreat center all left.
Which will leave the audience wondering if the game was reset, thus we're still inside the game, or it's about to happen for real this time. But the story ends there, leaving it open for interpretation.
OR, the ending would be their teacher returns the following morning. While all the students were still waking up from a mysterious slumber, having had a collective dream (there's a theory about collective dreams). Their teacher just wondering what happened because they're all crying and started to apologise to each other.
Meanwhile, Miss Programmer's software is still running and the ghost showed her face. Which leaves the audience wondering if they indeed woke up back in real life, or, it's "Stage 2".
When they were reviewing the CCTV footage and the CPU overheated mysteriously. The monitor moved by itself.
Yet no one reacted.
Hence, it's hard to tell if it was part of the plot and they forgot to react. Or a staff moved it, so when the filmed the same scene and started editing, they chose two scenes where the monitor moved.
Came across this randomly while searching for historical dramas, why isn't it buzzing right now ? Anyway, I'll…
Very few people today care about shows based on actual history. What most people today want are romantic sparks and political intrigue.Since this show has none of those two, it is being ignored. If they turned this into a Titanic-like show, everyone will talk about it. ROFL.
* The leads have been reincarnation repeatedly and they can't break their tie. (The multiple red moon.)* They…
Haha, thank you for the compliment. I wish I have that level of plot writing. Hahaha.
The pocket watch is still very mysterious. It's what I can come up with so far.
Oh! I forgot! The painting grandpa is hiding!
That one I have no idea.
My suspicions currently: 1. He's a time traveller as well. 2. He was the one who gave the watch to FL's father. So it means, grandpa will travel back to the past. Maybe he was from the past. Though this raises a lot more questions about the watch. 3. He can remember his past lives? 4. He was the reason for the curse? Maybe in the first life of ML, he hated the FL and cursed them?
Also, it was not in the rules that fan votes are taken into consideration for this round.
This round is pure judges.
:)

1. Was she still dreaming?
2. Did the past change?
3. Or, they showed us an alternate timeline wherein she made a different choice?
Explain your choice of answer. :)

Both shows are airing too as of this post.
