Nurse Eun Tak. You really need to up your game. LOL. I thought him missing the clues in episodes 13 and 14 would shake him up in episode 15, but nope, still nothing.
In fairness, there is something in Eun Tak's past that made him that way. They gave us a clue in the earlier episodes, but it was not enough.
There is something holding Eun Tak back when it comes to getting close with people. He is far too careful. Also, there is fear in there.
Don't get him wrong. The way he acts, it looks like he is giving Ah Reum enough room and space because he seems to be fearing that he would end up overbearing, which, let's be honest here, many doesn't like.
However, it was to the point wherein Eun Tak practically is nowhere anymore. It is like he is too cold.
During that break up. Eun Tak: 1. shocked, probably trying to think where he went wrong 2. he acted the same way, he didn't push himself because he fears it might make whatever relationship they have left (as colleagues at least) worst 3. he is sacrificing what he feels to give her space and room to breath 4. he is probably self-blaming 5. probably even thinking he doesn't deserve her and he is paying some karma
Something in his past made him that way.
He is there. But, it is so hard for him to reach out. To extend his hands. To open up. To cry out. To tell her “I need you”.
Which, unfortunately, is sending the wrong messages to Ah Reum. Ah Reum seems to be getting what Eun Tak is going on, but Eun Tak's actions are sending mix messages, Ah Reum no longer understand what's going on.
The obvious conclusion is, he no longer loves her and was simply being polite about it so she won't get hurt.
Originally, I thought Eun Tak was simply that type of guy. But the hint they dropped about his past changed it, unfortunately, it just was not enough. There is something else there.
Eun Tak is keeping everyone, even his girlfriend, an arms length away.
To protect them from himself?
Or, to protect himself from them?
GAAHH! I want to know what past he is hiding that made him this way.
He's like a child who wants to ask for help but he can't do it. He wants to open up to Ah Reum but there is fear …
Fear of rejection if they find out the truth about him?
I believe so. It will be interesting to see their dynamic.
There is no doubt it will be a continuation, multi-season franchise are like that. For example, Star Trek Season 2 is a continuation of Season 1. The Flash Season 8 was a continuation of Season 7.
However, the time period will be in 2023 and not in the past.
Remember, based on the lore of this franchise, the gods are immortal, meaning, they don't die of old age.
They die if they want to die, no one worships them anymore and failed to adapt to the new times, or, they were killed.
In other words, if nothing happened to any of them, they might show up in 2023. Obviously, we already know Lee Yeon and Lee Rang survived (Lee Rang, at least up to Season 1, I can't remember if it was 2020 but you get the idea).
The old mountain god, he was watching when Lee Yeon returned.
Either he hid himself somehere. Or, he teleported when Lee Yeon opened the doorway back to the future (no pun intended), or, he was biding his time, assessing the situation, and decided to wait for Lee Yeon in 2023.
The 1st mountain god of Korea already have the golden ruler and the all-seeing eye. He already know where the stone is… in 2023.
The fourth item, that I have no idea. Probably somewhere between 1938 and 2023.
Maybe in 2023 he already found the 4th item, so the only thing left is the stone.
What is ironic here is that, 2 of the items are in the possession of the old hag. Her eye and the stone.
The 1st mountain god will not take the stone until after Lee Yeon returns to 2023. Otherwise, he would mess the chain of events. You see, he needs Moo Young to wake up in 2020s to steal the stone and travel back in the past so Moo Yeong can bring him back to the mortal realm.
Also, he needs Lee Yeon to accidentally find the golden ruler so Moo Yeong can use it to bring him back.
If the 1st montain god takes the stone before Lee Yeon travels back to the past, everything will be reset (a.k.a. grandfather paradox).
So, more likely than not, he will find the other item and will take the stone last. Which we will likely see in Season 3.
At least that's my current analysis as of Season 2.

Now that I think of it… the assembly woman did say she will do everything she can to bring them down. She probably went crazy too. LOL.
It's like the writer got confused with the time forward.
It was like they only started dating 3 hours ago instead of 3 years ago.

Regardless, it's definitely not the assembly woman. Her men called her to update about the situation, so that means she's nowhere near the hospital.
7 out of 10 as far as the topic “prosecutor” is concerned. They gave that expectation.
It's more about comedy and light plots. But, the expectation from the title changed everything. I want to give it an 8 but… I can't make myself to.
It was fun. I give you that. I laughed.
